“I grew up in the immediate neighborhood and for over 20 years I have loved Sachi. Unfortunately, the original owner sold it a few years ago, and although it's almost the same, there are subtle changes in the quality. Overall though it's a good option for relative fast food. I'm glad they are still in the neighborhood. So, the chicken bowl is still delicious. The sauteed veggies are on point. The curry is not bad and the salmon is always fresh.
The biggest menu change for me is the shumai. It went from small delicate fluffy pillows filled with actual meat and veggies to this large block of dough. I don't even see the meat in it any longer. They also use it in the wonton soup as a wonton - which it is not! I can't even eat them because there is no identifiable filling inside of them. How sad...”

“We've been here a few times food delicious, clean and usually friendly staff.
Walked in young brown skinned full figured woman said sit anywhere you like with a smile ok, approached a table for two it still had dishes so turned towards another table also not clean, we wanted to sit by the window.
She then said sit over there by a group of 8, no thank you could you clear off a table. She seemed annoyed with our request after she said sit anywhere and her smile faded fast.
There was another younger girl who approached us to take our orders. She was pleasant and provided us with a nice time.
We live just around the corner and want to support our Black establishments, however attitude is not ok.”

“Amazing takeout family meal which features the most flavorful and delicious Char Siu Wagyu Short Rib with fluffy bao. All side dishes are well executed and delectable. One of the best staying at home meals I’ve had! Highly recommend it!”

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.”

“Absolutely loved this place. We ate at the bar and the bartender was amazing. He was friendly, helpful and made sure we ordered exactly the right amount of food. His cocktails were perfect, like a wizard dishing out magic (I had a second cocktail which I rarely do ☺️). The food was equally good. The home made tofu melted in your mouth. The tuna, uni appetizer was delicate with a dash of wasabi. The heirloom tomato salad was fresh, succulent, and delicious. ? The jidori chicken was so flavorful. Overall it was a perfect meal. Thank you”

“Went there for a little date on Halloween and didn’t disappoint. I had the mushrooms and my partner the duck, both were very delicious.
I think some more classy better quality cutlery and candle holders would help the place reflect the fancy vibe they want.

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.”

“Warm, hands on and personalized service. A Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant…Food Made from Scratch, fresh, unique, different, and affordable. Highly recommended! The red onion focaccia bread with herb and Parmesan butter, added Burrata - best- seller, a must. The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! And the Grilled NY steak with green garlic chimichurri, chorizo aioli and pommes pont neuf, thick cut fries…my son prefers over the fried chicken.”

“My friend and I had an exquisite dining experience at Bar Sawa. Each course was prepared and presented to perfection. The place was a little tricky to find; there were no signs, and it was in the basement of a very unexpected building. You can also only get down there through the middle elevator! The instructions to get to the restaurant were emailed, but I didn't get to read it in time, so it was my fault. ? We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, ambiance and the entire experience. Highly recommend!”

I was SO SAD I was not able to stay due to a long drive and only was able to stop by for a cold brew coffee. They closed at 2 am though so I was so grateful they even served me at I think 10 min till close!
If I go back to LA some day, I WILL be visiting this bar! And not 1-10 min before they close!!

“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.”

“Our waitress was so helpful, friendly, intuitive and just cool! The food was too good.. like... “need to eat and chill here more so we can try everything” kind of good. The atmosphere was ROMANTIC. Like, modern yet timeless romantic. I felt like I was in a French dream. Best date night place in LA. For sure.”

“Amazing dinner! There were six of us, we ordered a Pitata to share, two appetizers, two sides, and four regular sized entrees for sharing.
It was the perfect amount for us all. Could have eaten more, just because it was outstanding...but for portion control, we did well.”

“I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.
It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.”
