“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.
Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.”

“Best coconut jelly!! I like it better than melo melo. I like that they use big mango chunks instead of mango puree which is what melo melo does. I love the double coconut too.”

“Old school strip mall pizza. Excellent customer service as I requested a channel change. I was till in recovery from recent illness but needed food and the game. Thankfully Barrios supplied both.
I had the standard Balls and Getti with garlic bread. Combo
Included a drink at his recommendation, thank you. Great sauce, temperature hot and fresh. All around excellent meal with close tv. Next time is a small pepperoni.
Had to come back to try the pizza. NBA night and they happily obliged and changed the channel. It matters. I had the individual everything which was great. Next time I’m trying the salad and individual 2 topping. Place was packed with multiple bday parties but staff was hopping with to go and party pies. Great place.”

“Mi Kasa is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. Their tacos, burritos, and especially the Mi Kasa salad are all out of this world delicious. I honestly think about making the 40 minute drive just to eat there. The flavors are unforgettable! The staff at Mi Kasa are incredibly kind and welcoming as well.”

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.”

“You came back hungry and got the perfect welcome — a spread that looks both filling and delicious. 🍣🥗
On the long plate, you’ve got a mix of sushi varieties:
• A beef-topped gunkan (ground or marinated beef wrapped with seaweed).
• A spicy minced topping, likely spicy tuna or spicy salmon.
• Grilled eel (unagi) with that glossy sweet soy glaze.
• Shrimp nigiri with a touch of sauce.
• At the bottom, wrapped in plastic, looks like a musubi — rice with grilled meat or spam, perfect for later.
On the side, a fresh salad with crisp lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and dressing — and best part, it’s unlimited. 🥗✨
By the last picture, you’ve also got a dipping sauce ready and a sushi roll off to the side, so you’re set for a feast.
If you walked into this starving, that first bite must have hit the spot.”
“the fishcake udon and the knife cut noodles (kalguksu) were so good, and the prices were very reasonable! the owner was super friendly as well and complimented my plushie and treated it well, which is the first time i’ve had someone do that while eating at a restaurant :)”

“The chinese pop music playing in here is pretty loud. The drinks are very large in size so it's definitely worth the purchase at $5. The noodles are pretty pricey but for the flavor and noodle quality i would say it's worth it. The noodles are perfectly chewy and absorb the broth flavors well”

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.”

“Good food, great service, spectacular atmosphere - Applebee’s is good in the neighborhood! 😆 They’re currently running a “2 for $25” special: choose 1 appetizer and 2 entrées for only $25. It’s a good deal especially considering the entrées offered. The service is consistently top notch: Sophie has waited on us several times; she’s friendly and efficient and provides great recommendations. Thanks Applebee’s for another fun time!”
“I love the strawberry yakult with aloe Vera. They even let you adjust the sweetness level and ice amount. The night shift are so sweet. Even if you’re just looking for somewhere to just sit and finish some assignments or to sit and chat it’s very cozy.”

“Yummy Yummy! We're so glad that we have a delicious XLB place close to us. They have XLB (Xiao Long Bao/steamed pork dumplings) for BOGO promotion. Yes, buy one, get one free. We ordered their juicy pork Xiao Long Bao ($12.99 for 9 pieces), and they also gave us another order for free. (so we had a total of 18 pieces for 2 orders). We also ordered braised pork. The flavor of the pork was marinated well, and the texture was perfect, soft and tender. Their cucumber with garlic was also delicious.
We like their food so much and hope they do well in Walnut.”

“I love coming here! My husband and I went today and had great food and the service was impeccable!”
“Came back for round two because I love boba too much to give up that easily 😅 and I’m so glad I did. Tried the hojicha milk tea with no sweetness + boba, and it was a much better experience this time around.
Good flavor tea and good boba are always important to me — I usually get my sweetness from the boba itself, so I almost always order 0 added sugar. The hojicha was flavorful and smooth, and the boba was fresh, chewy, and delicious, which really made the drink.
The staff was super friendly, the space was clean and welcoming, and they were kind enough to let me take photos (always appreciated by a food lover 📸). Everything felt thoughtful and well done, and the vibe was perfect for sitting and actually enjoying your tea.
I’d definitely come back again — the boba lover in me approves 🧋✨”

“My new favorite boba spot in town! Super friendly service, drinks that are deliciously made without a long wait, and they happily take my reusable cups for my boba orders (I think they recognize me now lol)! I'm in Walnut about twice a month and have been stopping by Goomo for my boba cravings each time.
I'm still playing around with their menu to find my favorite drink. So far I've tried the orange green tea (50% sweet, no ice with grass jelly), passion fruit bomb, and green grape yakult and they're all good! Appreciate that they make the drinks with no syrups or artificial flavors and with actual pieces of fruit for the fruit drinks. Lately, I've been digging their jumbo cups of their classic milk tea and thai tea, both come with boba and is perfect for when you want a little more bang for your buck and just more drink overall!
My first time here I was more hungry than thirsty, so I tried their popcorn chicken, which was pretty solid. I need to come back and try their other food items on the menu.
Ordering is so easy here. Use the kiosk to select and customize your drink. Make sure to sign up for the rewards too, which also sends you a text when your order is ready. I found that after I place my order at the kiosk, I just grab their attention to ask if they can make my drink in my own cup.
Plenty of seating inside to enjoy your drinks and hang out with friends. Plenty of parking too. They are also one of the few boba shops that open until 10 pm so my friends and I come by after our evening Kiwanis meetings to grab some boba.”

“Great option for Chinese and/or Taiwanese food in the area. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with plenty of parking in the lot. The owner Stella was super kind, and it’s clear that a lot of thought was put into designing the menu so that there are options for everyone.
This time, I ordered dishes like the chili oil wontons, sweet and sour ribs, and eggplant with basil. The eggplant was tender with plenty of basil and was delicious with the rice, especially because the dish was on the oilier side (as classic eggplant dishes are). Wontons were pretty standard, slightly spicy. My favorite was the sweet and sour ribs—the breading was just thick enough for the hint of crunchy texture, and balance of sweet and sour was well done. The portion was reasonable for the price. Looking forward to being back.”
“This boba shop was great! The place was very chill and had a nice vibe to hang out. The drinks were tasty, and the boba was just the right texture. Service was quick too. I’ll definitely come back again.”

“Stopped by after my service club's meeting for some boba. Very cozy setting inside with several seating options, plus the large patio outside. Make your way to the back to order first and then pick a spot to sit.
I got a delicious hot almond milk tea with boba and they were cool with using my reusable tumbler for the beverage! Solid drink. Too bad I was still full from dinner that I couldn't try any of their food items.
Another awesome thing is that they stay open pretty late, closing at 11 pm, which is a lot later than some of the other places around that close earlier at 9 or 10 pm. Though, if you're friends with the employees, they let you stay later (we were kicked out at 11 pm, while a group of 6 were allowed to stay).
Didn't have trouble getting parking on a weekday evening.”

“One of the very few places we can have some healthy food outside… @heartland_organic_cafe_mart it’s all vegan and cooked really well. We’ve been here a few times and enjoyed everything there. We had a stir fried mushroom rice plate this time and some soup noodles. It left us feeling so full of good nutrition. Bought an odd green drink as we left and it was soooo good! It was a lovely mildly sweet dessert to end off a nutritious meal.”

“I tried their peach oolong tea and loved it! They have plenty of outdoor seatings (tables, benches, and booths) and what I also liked about this cafe is that I can bring my own food. You just need to purchase their drinks. As long as you get there between 10 am and 2 pm (Tue-Sat), you can grab a drink and use their cafe area!”

“medium bowl with the daily special combo! Pho soup was good but the meat was too hard to chew. I was so hungry I just swallowed it down. They steam bean sprouts free of charge, if necessary. Pink lemonade is good. Two spring rolls were excellent. Flan is really tiny, I honestly thought it would be a little bigger. Service is okay. I do love the busy atmosphere ambiance, I do plan on going back again!”

“I gave them 5 stars because this is one of the best places to have korean jampong (the spicy kind). The food is great, I took 1 star off because honestly they have a huge menu and over 70% of the stuff are not available and never will be (why bother keeping it ?!?).
The service is great as long as you don't complain or ask for detailed ordering such as I can't eat this leave it out of the dish or such as can you NOT wash the noodles with cold tap water. Use filtered water instead.
The eatery is a small counter inside a supermarket. So atmosphere is like whatever. Expect lots of aunties and uncles and others around you watching you eat while talking in loud korean.”

“Green Shaker by Ten Ren is a cozy spot for bubble tea and light bites in Walnut. Their drink menu is extensive. Snacks like the popping fish balls and popcorn chicken add a tasty, casual touch, though food quality can be hit-or-miss compared to the drinks. Service is generally friendly, and the space has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that’s great for hanging out or studying. Prices are reasonable. Green Shaker delivers a satisfying experience—especially if you’re here mainly for the tea.”

“Great selection of drinks, probably one of the better milk tea shops around the SGV. However, it is not the first time I have experienced poor service from the staff. It usually takes a lot from me to post a negative comment, especially for a place I really like. Needless to say, I hope the owner takes care of this matter before his/her business goes under.”

“The Hainan chicken was tender and juicy, and the skewers were wel-seasoned!
The restaurant's interior is very cozy, decorated with plants and Chinese-themed items.
Ordering is easy with the QR code on each table, which is convenient.
This spot specializes in potato noodles, skewers, and Hainan chicken.
Combo #1 comes with two bowls of rice and soup, a plate of chicken, cucumber salad, and fried peanut. The rice is very fragrant and the chicken was tasty with the sweet and spicy sauces.
The potato noodles is very tasty. I will say the best one in LA. If you want to add more protein to the soup that’s good. It is also good for the original recipe. I absolutely love the numbing, peppery flavor of Sichuan pepper in potato noodles.”
