“This place is an alternative for melo melo. Quality wise and taste wise for the jelly are as good as melo melo. One thing I don’t like is the egg waffle because it wasnt not crispy. Other than that, everything’s good. Lots of parking. Service by server are friendly and didn’t take too long to get my food.”

“The food was great, staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a pretty big group of people and they were able to accommodate us no problem. They also do a little Tip Tip Horray cheer which is cool.”

“Mi Kasa is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. Their tacos, burritos, and especially the Mi Kasa salad are all out of this world delicious. I honestly think about making the 40 minute drive just to eat there. The flavors are unforgettable! The staff at Mi Kasa are incredibly kind and welcoming as well.”

“I've been coming here for over ten years, and it's been consistently good with the food and service. The sushi here is very fresh and I always opt for the unagi and ikura. They have nice combination sets that are very filling. A nice selection of Japanese beers and nicely fried tempura. Overall, a good Japanese restaurant and one of the best around Walnut, CA. Cheers.”

“Great brewery with house made hard seltzers too. I loved the lychee one. Very refreshing. So cool that they have a small book store too. Even books for kids and a very eclectic collection. They support local authors. Attended a book launch for local artist @ChristinaMaeFong there. Too bad I live 40 miles away.”

“You came back hungry and got the perfect welcome — a spread that looks both filling and delicious. 🍣🥗
On the long plate, you’ve got a mix of sushi varieties:
• A beef-topped gunkan (ground or marinated beef wrapped with seaweed).
• A spicy minced topping, likely spicy tuna or spicy salmon.
• Grilled eel (unagi) with that glossy sweet soy glaze.
• Shrimp nigiri with a touch of sauce.
• At the bottom, wrapped in plastic, looks like a musubi — rice with grilled meat or spam, perfect for later.
On the side, a fresh salad with crisp lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and dressing — and best part, it’s unlimited. 🥗✨
By the last picture, you’ve also got a dipping sauce ready and a sushi roll off to the side, so you’re set for a feast.
If you walked into this starving, that first bite must have hit the spot.”

“Excellent pizza! The crust is fantastic. If you go online , you can choose the thickness of the crust: thin, regular or thick. You can also choose the amount of sauce. Ever since Angelo's and Vinci's in Fullerton closed, I have been searching everywhere for an excellent pizza place. I found it in Barro's Pizza in Diamond Bar.”

“Good food, great service, spectacular atmosphere - Applebee’s is good in the neighborhood! 😆 They’re currently running a “2 for $25” special: choose 1 appetizer and 2 entrées for only $25. It’s a good deal especially considering the entrées offered. The service is consistently top notch: Sophie has waited on us several times; she’s friendly and efficient and provides great recommendations. Thanks Applebee’s for another fun time!”
“I came here since I saw on their menu that they sell cheonggukjang ($15.99) and not alot of restaurants sell it since it has a strong fermented smell and taste, similar to natto according to the lady. I saw a video of a Korean vlogger eating it in a restaurant and I was curious. I had asked the lady for one and she strongly recommended me to get something more basic since I'm not Korean and the smell can be off-putting. I never grew up with this stew but I was willing to try. It got to the point another lady came out of the kitchen to see me eat the stew.
The wait time was not long, the lady gave me several banchans like kimchi, bean sprouts kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fishcakes, stir-fried potatoes, braised tofu, and purple rice. The stew came out piping hot, it was filled with chopped tofu, onions, and zucchini; super thick and chunky. It did have a strong smell and taste but it didn't bother me as I expected.
Place gives off old-school vibes, lots of older Korean people dining inside. The lady was nice, she was trying very hard to explain the stew to me. The parking lot can get packed, I went during the weekday so it was easier to find parking.”

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.”

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.”

“The ice cream is delicious. I tried the lychee, and my son tried the chocolate and strawberry. They're very good, and the place is very clean. So if you want to enjoy some good ice cream, go with them and you'll have a great time.”
“I love the strawberry yakult with aloe Vera. They even let you adjust the sweetness level and ice amount. The night shift are so sweet. Even if you’re just looking for somewhere to just sit and finish some assignments or to sit and chat it’s very cozy.”

“We discovered this local gem and decided to try it. They did not disappoint. Their noodle had a good chew/texture in the beef brisket noodle soup. Sesame noodles had good flavor and adequate amount of sauce. The XLB was flavorful and juicy and same with the pork pot sticker. Garlic bok choy also well good along with the popcorn chicken. We had a great experience and would recommend this place to anyone looking authentic noodles and dumpling in the area.”

“The drinks is good taste! But their Taiwan lady is strict with their customers; once, I asked them for help in an order. However, they were too busy(?)
I ordered the wrong drink without the help, and when I told them about it, they asked me to pay half price to exchange it for the drink I actually wanted. That experience wasn’t very good, but other than that, their drinks are nice. I go there pretty often, and that has only happened once.”

“Stopped by after my service club's meeting for some boba. Very cozy setting inside with several seating options, plus the large patio outside. Make your way to the back to order first and then pick a spot to sit.
I got a delicious hot almond milk tea with boba and they were cool with using my reusable tumbler for the beverage! Solid drink. Too bad I was still full from dinner that I couldn't try any of their food items.
Another awesome thing is that they stay open pretty late, closing at 11 pm, which is a lot later than some of the other places around that close earlier at 9 or 10 pm. Though, if you're friends with the employees, they let you stay later (we were kicked out at 11 pm, while a group of 6 were allowed to stay).
Didn't have trouble getting parking on a weekday evening.”

“Everything here was sooo yummy! The sushi was super fresh, full of flavor, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. You can tell they use really good ingredients, and the rolls were put together perfectly. The sea urchin was delicious!!

“Great option for Chinese and/or Taiwanese food in the area. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with plenty of parking in the lot. The owner Stella was super kind, and it’s clear that a lot of thought was put into designing the menu so that there are options for everyone.
This time, I ordered dishes like the chili oil wontons, sweet and sour ribs, and eggplant with basil. The eggplant was tender with plenty of basil and was delicious with the rice, especially because the dish was on the oilier side (as classic eggplant dishes are). Wontons were pretty standard, slightly spicy. My favorite was the sweet and sour ribs—the breading was just thick enough for the hint of crunchy texture, and balance of sweet and sour was well done. The portion was reasonable for the price. Looking forward to being back.”
“One of the very few places we can have some healthy food outside… @heartland_organic_cafe_mart it’s all vegan and cooked really well. We’ve been here a few times and enjoyed everything there. We had a stir fried mushroom rice plate this time and some soup noodles. It left us feeling so full of good nutrition. Bought an odd green drink as we left and it was soooo good! It was a lovely mildly sweet dessert to end off a nutritious meal.”
“This boba shop was great! The place was very chill and had a nice vibe to hang out. The drinks were tasty, and the boba was just the right texture. Service was quick too. I’ll definitely come back again.”

“I tried their peach oolong tea and loved it! They have plenty of outdoor seatings (tables, benches, and booths) and what I also liked about this cafe is that I can bring my own food. You just need to purchase their drinks. As long as you get there between 10 am and 2 pm (Tue-Sat), you can grab a drink and use their cafe area!”

“I gave them 5 stars because this is one of the best places to have korean jampong (the spicy kind). The food is great, I took 1 star off because honestly they have a huge menu and over 70% of the stuff are not available and never will be (why bother keeping it ?!?).
The service is great as long as you don't complain or ask for detailed ordering such as I can't eat this leave it out of the dish or such as can you NOT wash the noodles with cold tap water. Use filtered water instead.
The eatery is a small counter inside a supermarket. So atmosphere is like whatever. Expect lots of aunties and uncles and others around you watching you eat while talking in loud korean.”
“Very good food with homemade taste. A little hidden place in Walnut, but with great dishes and you can feel the love in the food you eat. I tried the bistec picado, and a carne asada burrito...delicious. Do not forget to try the fruit juice. Very refreshing!”

“Bbq always delivers in terms of flavor. The only reason I didn't get five stars is because at this location the cook that works in the the morning afternoon shift is far superior to whoever they have cooking in the back at night... 😂”

“medium bowl with the daily special combo! Pho soup was good but the meat was too hard to chew. I was so hungry I just swallowed it down. They steam bean sprouts free of charge, if necessary. Pink lemonade is good. Two spring rolls were excellent. Flan is really tiny, I honestly thought it would be a little bigger. Service is okay. I do love the busy atmosphere ambiance, I do plan on going back again!”

“Green Shaker by Ten Ren is a cozy spot for bubble tea and light bites in Walnut. Their drink menu is extensive. Snacks like the popping fish balls and popcorn chicken add a tasty, casual touch, though food quality can be hit-or-miss compared to the drinks. Service is generally friendly, and the space has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that’s great for hanging out or studying. Prices are reasonable. Green Shaker delivers a satisfying experience—especially if you’re here mainly for the tea.”

“Great selection of drinks, probably one of the better milk tea shops around the SGV. However, it is not the first time I have experienced poor service from the staff. It usually takes a lot from me to post a negative comment, especially for a place I really like. Needless to say, I hope the owner takes care of this matter before his/her business goes under.”

“GOD TIER. Everyone keeps getting the ramen, BUT THE MAZESOBA IS WHERE IT’S AT!!! RAMEN FOOLS!! GET THE MAZESOBA!!
Super decadent, generous with the sauce (you can request a small scoop of rice for free afterwards to finish off the sauce), great noodle texture, amazing taste!! The first bite was heaven.
Looks small at first but that’s just because the bowl is big/I was struggling to finish halfway through.
AJ, our server, is super friendly, chill, and attentive! He brings amazing vibes.
10/10 will come again”
