“This private winery is nestled just below Mt. Diablo with beautiful views of the vineyards. We tried the wine flights (dark and light) and we loved them both. My personal favorite was the Malbec (dark) and the Rose (white). We arrived at 3pm for Saturday brunch and the vibe was amazing. We ordered the Halibut and the special of the day, duck. Halibut was a bit on the dry side but the duck was spot on. Overall, great vibes and energy from the staff. We'll be back again !”

Having been long time San Franciscan that has been to Original Joe's in SF and Daly City, I knew we were in for a treat. What a fantastic experience it was. The decor is so beautiful and our server Kristen cold not have been more helpful and accommodating. We started with the fried Zucchini and the Lettuce wedge salad (My favorite). That would have been enough right there-the portions are very ample. We both ordered the Steak Ala Bruno with a side of their homemade ravioli and the steaks were cooked to perfection. I was absolutely blown away by Stereo41, the perfectly curated menu of middle eastern and Japanese fusion, the delicious mocktails (the sour candy is to die for) the impeccable decor and just the overall vibes here were all beyond my expectations. The Himachi tostados and the tempura sweet potatoes were the stars of the show for me, I accidentally loaded up on the appetizers and couldn’t indulge in the main entree 😂 the trio dip and homemade bread were so good, I felt like I could bathe in the Muhammara and die happy 🫣 I can’t wait to come back and try more of the dishes, big kudos to the curators of this place, they nailed it, I can’t believe I’m in Walnut Creek and not NYC 💁🏽‍♀️”

Even if you’re not nearby, it’s worth the drive!”

“Yes, the chocolates are decadent and delicious, but to me the real star here are the mochas. Rather than using syrup or powder, they melt actual, high-quality chocolate chips into steamed milk and add espresso. It is hands down the best mocha I’ve had anywhere. Soy, almond, and oat milk are available if you don’t do cow juice. Pro tip: they use a mix of milk and dark chocolate chips, but if you prefer all one or the other, just ask. The only problem with them is that you’ll be ruined forever and no other mocha will suffice. Treat yo self!”

The cooks are great, host is always nice. Be warned it can get crazy busy on weekends especially evenings, its better to order in person and just grocery shop nearby while you wait.”

“This is a five star review from someone who doesn’t even like beer. The bartenders here are either very good at what they do or performing some kind of sorcery, but somehow they always manage to find something that I enjoy!

The beer selection on tap and in the fridge is super broad, really high quality, and constantly changing; the atmosphere is laid back; you can bring your own food in; and dogs are allowed! Their regular trivia nights and other events are always a good time as well.

“My wife and I dropped into La Ezkina recently to try a restaurant we have not visited previously. The place was completely empty when we walked in and the workers seemed thrilled to have customers. Our service was excellent and the food was good but it was such a bummer to see nobody else there. It must be so hard to run a restaurant these days. The bar completely dominates the middle of the restaurant and I found it distracting. In a way, it’s not clear if they want to be a bar or a restaurant. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. Hopefully others will try it too.

We took a lot of leftovers, but there’s not one dish I would have removed from our order. “My favorite Sushi spot in Walnut Creek!!! It’s amazing here. I get the premium omakase and hand rolls every time. (Usually spicy tuna or salmon). The fish is super fresh and my favorite nigiri is the otoro of course.

They have some rolls there that are pretty good as well. The pacific roll is one of the ones we always get. But you can’t go wrong with all the others. Just pick the one with fish you like and it will taste so good.

Also the staff is so friendly and attentive. It’s worth it every time we go :)”

Very good tacos. You really get snack tacos size. Don't underestimate the size, you will get full. I believe 6 would be plenty enough. You will definitely need a soda or drink to wash it down. Very satisfying. However, for $1 and snack tacos seems expensive. I suppose that's inflation as everybody puts it. Either way, very good and nice selections of other taco Tuesday selection.”

“Beautiful renovations since we had been here last, which was before Covid. Hostess was very accommodating since we ended up arriving a bit early and also sat us in our preferred area of the restaurant, which I forgot to request when making the reservation. Our chopped salad was a disappointment. It lacked flavor and was missing several of the ingredients that they listed. The steaks came out hot and cooked to perfection. Creamed spinach was good. However the I thought the lobster mac & cheese was a bot watery but lobster was firm. Service was very good except for the fact that the kitchen sent out dinner too quickly were we didn't get to relax with our salad & drinks. The waitress tried to kinda to late to intercept as they were at our table & she held them off, which explains why sides were not at hot as the steaks. Our main server & wait staff did a great job being attentive with more water & bread. Plus server was spot in with her recommendation of wines by the glass & offering a tastes. So overall we enjoyed being back, however with the price of steaks will need to look for the prefix specials! Oh a heads up.... the parking garage was so full on an early Saturday 5:30 pm that you may need to give a few extra minutes looking for someone to leave to get a spot!”
