“Food was really good and service was excellent. For the price of weekday lunch is $57 including the golden steak , salad bar and seafood plus various cuts of meat”
“Just two people, one in the kitchen and one doing everything else. But they were so kind and welcoming. I never felt neglected. I had a fantastic beer I've never seen before (Kati Patang) and my saag was delicious and not oily. I would have liked it a little spicier but I can just request that next time. Truly wonderful experience all around and I can't recommend it enough.”
“This restaurant just became my favourite Japanese restaurant in the area. We ordered two lunch combo with Katsu, Beef Teriyaki and Deep fried gyoza. First came complimentary miso soup once we sat down. Very thoughtful. Lunch combo start at $14.50 and $1 to $4 extra depending on what you order. Food was served in an efficient manner. They even gave us 6 dumplings on the house. Katsu was good. Not too much coating. Teriyaki wasn’t too sweet. Staff were friendly and efficient. Overall a very good experience.”

“Always enjoy the nights we can make it to dinner here. The staff is friendly and as long time patrons, we know many of the staff. Food is always excellent, fresh and hot. This visit nothing caught my interest on the specials so I was able to try a regular menu item I had not tried before. The pork cutlet, very well prepared and and the side of pasta and vegetables never disappoints.”

“Yum the smell of toasted bagels hits you right away! I ordered the Veggie Bagel with Vegan 🌱 Cream cheese, with an espresso (fyi they have vegan milk options) omg so good and my friend ordered the Original Breakfast Bagel and she loved it!!
All the staff were super friendly! I wish they had smaller tables instead of the large ones that are against the wall. Either way I still had a place to sit and enjoy my bagel with my friend. Please come here!!”
“Excellent food. I eat out a lot and I’ve tried many Thai restaurants in my life. This one is my favorite and the wait staff is awesome. Took family and friends here a few times already. Discovered them over a year ago.”
“The Library Social Club was the PERFECT place for a gathering of old friends. Extensive wine list, tasty small bites, comfortable and elegant setting, attentive service...and truly best of all...the music was loud enough to add ambience, but low enough that we could easily talk and visit. Highly recommend!”
“Excellent sushi again and again. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great service and fresh fish every time.”

“The food here is always on point and the service is top class, we dine here at least once a month and we have always had great service and food the only issue I have is I feel like the restrooms are often neglected with so much traffic I feel like someone should be cleaning those at least every 30 minute to an hour that is actually my only issue with this place. i do realize its only two small restrooms and the place is always packed but even when its nto packed the restrooms still need some attention.”
“If u love a local burger joint and in the east bay then def come here. The ground up their meet and remove all the funky gunk so u just have a juicy, fat burger. No longer owned by George but as good as ever. My favs are Swiss mushroom burger/cali burger with their fatty wedge cut fries mmm mmmmmm”

“This private winery is nestled just below Mt. Diablo with beautiful views of the vineyards. We tried the wine flights (dark and light) and we loved them both. My personal favorite was the Malbec (dark) and the Rose (white). We arrived at 3pm for Saturday brunch and the vibe was amazing. We ordered the Halibut and the special of the day, duck. Halibut was a bit on the dry side but the duck was spot on. Overall, great vibes and energy from the staff. We'll be back again !”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ikoi Sushi is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the area. The fish is unbelievably fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with so much care. Every bite feels like it was made to order just for you.
If you’re looking for quality sushi at a place that truly values both its food and its guests, Ikoi Sushi is a gem you don’t want to miss. I’ll definitely be back again!”

“Really liked this spot. I like the ordering system. I was greeted warmly by the two employees I initially had contact with. I had the biscuit breakfast sandwich, very filling and the biscuit was so good. I had one pancake and man was that delicious! The parking is also a plus. Will definitely come back to check out other options!”
“Finding it and parking can be tricky, but nice peple, good coffee, pastries were ok. Maybe if it wasnt called a croissant just a puff pastry the dissapointment might be less?
Harry potter is a bit cringe and political these days, not in a good way.
Coffee was on point.”

“I went for the lollipop lamb chops, which I had read about on a Facebook page. They did not disappoint! They come with a chimichurri sauce that is incredible. Both my husband and I got the blood orange mojito, and it was so refreshing and tasty! I give Havana a 10/10 on the food, drinks and service!”
“It’s always a lovely time at Tellus coffee! The creative and delicious food and drinks, warm and inviting ambiance (that plant wall just makes me happy) and the super-kind and efficient baristas are the best! Thanks to owner Janae for all her hard work making Tellus a Walnut Creek fave!”

“Excellent place for good sushi. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. Despite that we only had to wait about 5 min (they said 10-15). The restaurant is clean and we'll appointed. Staff were all friendly with excellent service. The food was delicious. We will happily return.”
“The food was incredible. I wanted to order almost everything on the menu. So will have to come back at least couple more times to try everything to look good and we couldn’t order in one night. Our old fashion cocktail and blackberry Mojito were perfect. And I can’t say enough about considerate, professional service.”
“Where do I even begin? I was absolutely blown away by Stereo41, the perfectly curated menu of middle eastern and Japanese fusion, the delicious mocktails (the sour candy is to die for) the impeccable decor and just the overall vibes here were all beyond my expectations. The Himachi tostados and the tempura sweet potatoes were the stars of the show for me, I accidentally loaded up on the appetizers and couldn’t indulge in the main entree 😂 the trio dip and homemade bread were so good, I felt like I could bathe in the Muhammara and die happy 🫣 I can’t wait to come back and try more of the dishes, big kudos to the curators of this place, they nailed it, I can’t believe I’m in Walnut Creek and not NYC 💁🏽♀️”
“Great service delicious food cozy atmosphere. Awesome Happy Hour 👍👍👍👍👍”
“Great menu....creative choices Welcoming atmosphere Friendly & Expedient service”
Takeout Restaurants
“Yes, the chocolates are decadent and delicious, but to me the real star here are the mochas. Rather than using syrup or powder, they melt actual, high-quality chocolate chips into steamed milk and add espresso. It is hands down the best mocha I’ve had anywhere. Soy, almond, and oat milk are available if you don’t do cow juice. Pro tip: they use a mix of milk and dark chocolate chips, but if you prefer all one or the other, just ask. The only problem with them is that you’ll be ruined forever and no other mocha will suffice. Treat yo self!”
“This food spot is really good. Ordered on a whim while attending an event at Retro Junkie. We ordered it on DoorDash for a pickup. It was ready on time, very flavorful and so delicious. It was enough for two to share and for leftovers the next day.
We ordered the General Tso chicken and House special fried rice...I just wish they gave a bit more meat on the rice... it seemed like it was more rice than anything”
“Food is incredible I have been coming for over 2 years and it’s always fresh they also have a location in San Francisco I wish they had one in Orange County 😊”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“This is a five star review from someone who doesn’t even like beer. The bartenders here are either very good at what they do or performing some kind of sorcery, but somehow they always manage to find something that I enjoy!
The beer selection on tap and in the fridge is super broad, really high quality, and constantly changing; the atmosphere is laid back; you can bring your own food in; and dogs are allowed! Their regular trivia nights and other events are always a good time as well.
Best taproom in the east bay🍻”
“I cannot say enough good things about Lettuce in Walnut Creek. Every single dish we have tried has been absolutely fabulous and I do not use that word lightly. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, the ingredients are clearly high quality, and you can tell the team puts real love into what they do. Whether you are going for one of their signature salads, grain bowls, or something seasonal, it always hits that perfect balance of healthy and satisfying. It is one of the few places where eating clean does not feel like you are sacrificing taste. In fact, it is the opposite. You will leave feeling nourished and spoiled. The vibe is modern and inviting, the service is warm and efficient, and everything is just beautifully presented. It has become a go to spot for our family, especially when we want something fast but genuinely delicious. Highly recommend for anyone in the Walnut Creek area or passing through. Lettuce is doing something special and it shows in every bite.”
“Catering from De Afghanan was a great decision! The delicious selection of dishes that Wais jon recommended was just perfect for my event! He is such a gentleman… a man of his words … and his food is delicious. I would absolutely cater future events with De Afghanan!”

“The best premium frozen yogurt in town!! 🍦 My favorite is the classic chocolate vanilla swirl—it takes me right back to my childhood! 🥰 The owners, Heather and Aron, are the absolute sweetest, and they always create such a welcoming and fun atmosphere no matter the time of day. If you haven't been to Yogurt Spot yet, you’re missing out. Couldn't recommend it more!”
“I was blown away to see Cholita Linda in WC. I've always gone to the one in Oakland. So you know I was happy to get my Pepito!
Sandwiches are always good, but my favorite is the Pepito. I also got the blackberry fresca.
Soo good!
Friendly staff.
Good amount of space and seating.
Price matches the quality IMO.”
“It was 8:15 and everything in Walnut Creek closes at 9pm. I was craving Green Curry. We were hungry and just picked this place because they were open. I've tried many of the Thai places all around the WC area and have yet to find one I really like, until now.
All the food is fresh and very well made. The rice was perfect and flavorful. The ambiance and vibe of the overall restaurant was warm, welcoming, and very clean. It is not casual dining but is casual in style. It was late and the owner took our order. He is a really nice guy.
As for the green curry I wanted so much, the steamy coconutty spicy rich chickeny broth with just a bit of heat was perfect. The only thing I would change is to eliminate the green beans but that's purely my taste. My partner had the PatHed, which he loved.
Will we return? Absolutely, and I hope soon!
I am advocating for family owned restaurants everywhere when I ask diners to get up and go out to any of the local family owned restaurants instead of using those delivery services. Those services charge the customers many fees and then also charge the restaurants about 25%. They are killing these wonderful places.
Never forget how much we wanted the shutdown to end, why are we still eating on our couches?
Get out one night soon and try out Plearn Thai Palace if you want fresh homemade Thai food that will leave you feeling like your taste buds and tummy are thanking you.”
“On one of my walks I passed by the restaurant and it opened my curiosity. I brought a friend for lunch today, to say the least, it was a very enjoyable experience, the food was excellent and very tasty, great atmosphere, the workers attentive and polite, as we were new they suggested what to eat, their choices were great. Welcome to Walnut Creek.”

Perfect for a no-fuss breakfast or lunch!”
“The place was visited for the first time on June 30, 2025. Parking was limited on the street, but public paid parking was available in the back. The walls featured nice pictures of famous Cheesesteak places in Philly, along with some information. The menu was straightforward with plenty of options. A large classic or original, was ordered, along with a fountain drink. It took about 7-10 minutes from the time the order was placed until the sandwich was received. The bread was really soft. The meat, cheese, and onion were well-balanced and flavorful. A slightly larger size or more filling would be preferred for the price. Overall, the experience was enjoyable. It is recommended, and if ever back in the area, it would be revisited.”
“Fabulous Food, Drinks and Ambiance! Love this place!!! Five Stars!!!”
“We just had the most awesome breakfast at The Hangout in Martinez. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. It had just the right amount of crunchy spicy sweet goodness. Fast and friendly service.”

“The restaurant is the most authentic and upscale Mexican cuisine in California, and you would never know it. I don't write lengthy reviews, but to summarize: - The food is excellent - The drinks are even better! - The staff is kind and extremely polite/professional (despite what some of the haters say below - I don't have skin in the game here so trust me when I say they are lying). - And they play GREAT live music and carry a very fun, safe, and upscale vibe. Tell your friends about it, because all small businesses struggle and this is one I would personally love to see hit 4 stars+ on Yelp and more importantly bring a sense of cultural awareness to one of the best communities in the Bay Area (WC). Love,”

“Beautiful renovations since we had been here last, which was before Covid. Hostess was very accommodating since we ended up arriving a bit early and also sat us in our preferred area of the restaurant, which I forgot to request when making the reservation. Our chopped salad was a disappointment. It lacked flavor and was missing several of the ingredients that they listed. The steaks came out hot and cooked to perfection. Creamed spinach was good. However the I thought the lobster mac & cheese was a bot watery but lobster was firm. Service was very good except for the fact that the kitchen sent out dinner too quickly were we didn't get to relax with our salad & drinks. The waitress tried to kinda to late to intercept as they were at our table & she held them off, which explains why sides were not at hot as the steaks. Our main server & wait staff did a great job being attentive with more water & bread. Plus server was spot in with her recommendation of wines by the glass & offering a tastes. So overall we enjoyed being back, however with the price of steaks will need to look for the prefix specials! Oh a heads up.... the parking garage was so full on an early Saturday 5:30 pm that you may need to give a few extra minutes looking for someone to leave to get a spot!”
