“The restaurant is the most authentic and upscale Mexican cuisine in California, and you would never know it. I don't write lengthy reviews, but to summarize: - The food is excellent - The drinks are even better! - The staff is kind and extremely polite/professional (despite what some of the haters say below - I don't have skin in the game here so trust me when I say they are lying). - And they play GREAT live music and carry a very fun, safe, and upscale vibe. Tell your friends about it, because all small businesses struggle and this is one I would personally love to see hit 4 stars+ on Yelp and more importantly bring a sense of cultural awareness to one of the best communities in the Bay Area (WC). “La Plaza is a hidden gem in Walnut Creek. Big menu with lots of options, you can't go wrong with anything you pick.

My go tos are the Chile Relleno or the Nachos. the Bean and Cheese Burrito is also one of the best I've ever had.

Great to eat in or easy takeout for the whole fam. Highly recommend!“

“The food was amazing and it tasted very good. The place is small, so it probably gets busy during peak hours but luckily when we went it was empty and we made it before they ended serving breakfast. If I'm in Walnut Creek again I'll be sure to stop by.“

“We had a great time after a dinner date at Bar Camino. The first round of drinks took a while to get to us, but it was worth the wait! Pepé Jefé was our server and he was the best! Can't wait to come back and see him. First round on him ;)“

I got a Combo Plate with a Taco and Enchilada...The Taco shell fell apart in 1 bite, and was one of those prepackaged shells...The Enchilada was the worst ever, the blood red sauce was definitely from a can with 0 flavor! The grilled chicken was super dry with No Flavor or texture at all! I also got a Quesadilla to go, with watered down sour cream and guacamole from a package....No flavor, and again dry chicken and this time a super greasy tortilla. I GUARANTEE this is the worst Mexican Food Ever! The rice was dry with 0 flavor and the beans were watered down....Do yourself a favor, and Do Not Go Here Ever! And to top it off I'm certain the owners know they are selling crap, they are just looking to cut costs....Nothing fresh, nothing good at all!
