“La Plaza is a hidden gem in Walnut Creek. Big menu with lots of options, you can't go wrong with anything you pick.

My go tos are the Chile Relleno or the Nachos. the Bean and Cheese Burrito is also one of the best I've ever had.

Great to eat in or easy takeout for the whole fam. Highly recommend!“

“Food was ok. Got the huevos rancheros. The refried beans were like a puddle of light brown with a scant amount of cheese- like a teaspoon. The star is the wonderful variety of veggies at the salsa bar. The place is functional, like a cafe. The people work hard to cut and prepare the food and clean the place. I hope they provide better quality of entrees. Like real beans in the refried beans. Place was empty.“

“We visited Xicote for my wife's birthday. We has a very nice experience and the staff was very kind and attentive. My wife, who rarely orders a cocktail tired the Tropical Tequila Sour and REALLY enjoyed it. I had their signature Margarita and also enjoyed my cocktail. For dinner she ordered the Seafood Taco Trio Plate (Shrimp, Lobster & Mahi Mahi tacos). Beautiful presentation & very tasty. I had the Carnitas Burrito which was also quite good. The portions were generous. They staff surprised the birthday girl with a churro plate with a caramel dipping sauce. They were DELICIOUS.“

“This is a perfect place for a warm night out in downtown Walnut Creek! Excellent food and great drinks! On top of that you can bring your pets to the outdoor seating. Although, we were one of the only tables eating dinner outside, they could have come to check up on us a little more. “😍This place is better than Chipotle! Plus, they have a delicious mango salsa (potentially only seasonally) & don’t even charge for guacamole!!! The food is uniformly delicious & fresh. Customer service is top-notch, as well. Shift manager Cody is such a delight. A gentleman, for sure. Ana is super sweet and helpful, too. If the company would get their AC working again, I would stay to dine in more often. There is an outdoor seating area, though. Or you can choose to sit by the door. Definitely try this place out!
