“Last night, I went to the Starbucks coffee shop in Carson. I wanted to haveAmericano coffee, and Starbucks makes the best tasting coffee. This Starbucks coffee shop didn't have drive-thru services. And they had outdoor dining tables.When I walked to Starbucks, it was a small place. They kept the place clean and neat. They had few people weresitting on the tables.A young man welcomed me with the greetings. He was nice and friendly.I ordered a couple of coffees, and he asked me if Americano coffee was ok.Yes. I liked their Americano coffee.After that, I got the coffee, but it was a strong and bitter taste coffee. Americano should be mild coffee. It was made with half of the expresso and half of the water.Afterward, I added some milk & andit tasted much better.This Starbucks used to have lots ofcollege students hang out at night.Tonight, this place was empty andquiet.Anyway, I like Starbucks coffee.Starbucks' regular coffee is prettystrong, but other favored coffee arereally good. They also serve breakfastand lunch sandwiches. And they havepastries, scones, muffins & others.”

“This is my favorite restaurant of the year! Exceptional food and service, and I love the ambiance of being in a converted home. The menu is almost constantly changing (so plenty of temptation to go back).The first time I visited Heritage I booked a return trip as soon as I left the restaurant. Fortunately (for my bank account, if not my taste buds) I live a couple of hours away, otherwise who knows how often I'd be there.A must try!”

“You will not find better service than when you enter Borjstar. Honestly, they treat you like a star. They are attentive and incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The food is just as great. Very flavorful and leaves you wanting more! They also have a yogurt/ice cream dispenser so you can treat yourself before/after your meal. Put Borjstar on your list of restaurants to visit in the Gardena/South Bay area. You won't regret it!”

“There's definitely a reason this place keeps coming up everywhere as number ones bartenders are nice with a touch of sass like you'd like at a dive bar, but it's elevated. The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.”

“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.”

Tourist here, no connection to the staff, want that to be clear for the next comment: that they do what they do here, especially the bar staff, is a freaking miracle. Two bartenders running hard, no barback. A bit ridiculous and clearly if the skilled and committed bartenders leave, they'd be up a creek. “I highly recommend this spot for authentic Cambodian cuisine. Our group of four didn't have to wait long and there was an iPad outside for joining the waitlist for a table. There's a variety of noodle options available. We tried the Phnom Penh Noodle Special dry and soup, Beef and Meatball Noodle, Pork Rice Porridge with fried breadstick, and ordered round bread on the side. While the round bread was too dense and hard, the meat bread had too many onions. Despite the rushed service causing a couple of mistakes, the overall experience was quite good, with fast and efficient customer service. It was very hard to find parking there so we had to park in the neighborhood.”

“It’s a worthy dive bar with a frigging delicious hamburger. We went for the atmosphere having walked by on our vacation to Manhattan Beach and had to go back. If you love an authentic old bar and are happy with a great cheeseburger and chips and can overlook a sticky table and a bit scary bathroom situation, this is your spot. A breath of fresh air from our usual bougie eating in South Bay. Did I mention the burger was delicious??”

Others restaurants required someone to call me back, a contract etc. Sasual took my large party not once but twice that week. You really kept me out of a bind where I was hosting a group of executives from Boston and New York. The service and food was out of this world. I moved to California 6 years ago and this was hands down THE BEST Mexican food I’ve eaten since I’ve lived here. Our servers were so accommodating and fast, I don’t know how you did it with such a large party. It was so good we came back a second night the same week. You are now my favorite so I will be back with the wife and I will recommend to every person who asked me. “This poke’s fish texture was more jelly when bit ( might be marinated in a special Hawaiian way) compared to Japanese/Asian style poke for your reference. Just not the best texture to me, personally. I am in general more used to having non-Hawaiian style poke.Side dishes are in generous size, though the Edamame tasted a bit cold, hard, raw, and unflavored to me. I wish could have it warm with light sparkled salt on top instead.Appreciate the friendly people who work in store. They are kind to give wasabi and soy sauce pods for extra flavor if asked.”

“Our waiter was friendly and fantastic. The venue itself is very cool. But cool in temperature too. The whole front of the place is open with no wall and we had to keep our jackets on the whole time. The food was very tasty and we loved the trio of guacamole. The filet tacos were too smokey flavored. We finished with the flan and it was amazing. Big enough to share!”

“Decent atmosphere, kinda dark and fairly loud. Food was over all good. The meatballs were good, but nothing crazy. The ricotta wip was a good addition to them and the bread was good and crispy. The mushrooms lasagna was absolutely over powered by the balsamic and wayyyy too sweet. The egg pizza was delicious from the dough to the toppings. The desserts however were best described by my friend as grocery store desserts. Tiramisu was ok, missing half a layer... Strawberry shortcake a hard pass. Neither worth it imo.”
