“We walked up and weren't sure if the place was open, but luckily some other patrons walked up at the same time so we followed them in. So glad we did! This is one of those Chinese places that opened when Adam was a lad and hasn't changed its approach since. The carpet looked original (and therefore quite worn, but that is literally the only thing I would change if I bought the place. I'd pay the chef whatever they wanted to stay, keep the service staff, keep the decor, and above all else, keep the menu. Traditional Chinese-American restaurant menu (quite long but mostly just variations on the same dozen recipes, swapping out proteins), but extremely well executed. We are new residents of the Valley and we will be regulars here.“

“Was planning to get tacos nearby but decided to try this spot instead.
Surprised by how big the portions were—definitely worth the price. Orange chicken had good flavor, but the breading wasn’t as fresh as I’d like. Chow mein was a little too soft for my taste, but still had decent flavor.

Staff was polite and service was fast. Place looked clean and food came out hot.
Not perfect, but not bad either. I’ll come back again to try other dishes. 🙏“

“Great chinese restaurant, the noodles are very fresh and the meat tasty. The beef roll appetizer is a good size. Everyone liked the soup as well. My only wish would be a way to make the dish spicy without chili oil as it makes the dish even more oily.“

“I was a bit skeptical at thinking it is another restaurant serving s*ty soy sauce drenched noodles, but it was such a pleasant revelation how good the dishes were.

The Super Wok Special Beef is the one to order! It is incredibly tender, slight sweetness to it and buttery. It it served on top of a bed of sliced oranges. It is guaranteed to make you keep coming back for more. The dish is $19+ and serving is generous.

I went back another day to try out the lunch special. This time it was the crispy salt pepper shrimp selected. For $13.75, it came with a soup of the day, rice and the entree. Serving was very generous, maybe even 2 people can share one. It was excellent!

I regret ordering the prawn crispy noodles. Tasted terrible and too salty. Kind of like an overdone soy sauce noodles.“

“$8 combo with decent sized portion--chow mein, fried rice and a meat! Can't beat that! No frills restaurants. They don't soak their rice in oil like many Chinese restaurants. Good orange chicken, also saw they have jalapeño chicken and fried banana.

Parking might be tough in this neighborhood but it's free.

“No dine in so I won’t review service and atmosphere. Crab Rangoon was good. Orange chicken was fairly good but some pieces had more orange flavor than others. Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more. I’ll try it again tomorrow and see if it tastes better. So, all in all, I’d say the food is kind of average.“

“Ordered takeout and food was made fast. Service was quick and front of the house is friendly. The chow men is a bit thicker. Their chicken dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. Their darker sauce dishes are more flavorful than other Chinese restaurants nearby. The moo goo gai pan was good. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants here, they have saltier food, but that lends to a good flavor.“

“Szechuwan Garden has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years. I believe they changed owners in the last 5 years and everything has improved. The waitress Juan (pronounced Jen) is lovely and a great waitress. Her personality is second to none and she will take good care of you. John, the waiter is also very nice, as well as Amy at the front desk. The food is totally delicious! The cashew nut chicken is my newest favorite and I crave it several times per week. “If you want one of the best Mongolian bbq in Simi Valley, this is your spot. You can dine in or take your food to go. I did both. They have a good variety of dishes on their menu. They also have a Mongolian bbq bar where you can choose your own ingredients and have the chef cook it for you. The staff are very nice and so are the chefs. It’s a fun experience watching them cook. I got the take away with fried rice, noodles, beef broccoli and orange chicken. It was well seasoned and delicious. Parking is abundant here so no issues with that. “I had a terrific experience at this Panda Express inside Topanga Mall. I used my Tmobile Tuesday code on the orange chicken bowl for mobile order. When I went to pick it up, my food was already wrapped up in the bag. They give a decent amount of chicken with the rice. My sisters also met up with me after I finish eating my food and wanted to get her orange chicken bowl as well so I placed another order along with beef and broccoli. She then decided that she wanted Teriyaki chicken too but since my mobile order was already submitted, I told her to just order it in person. The line wasn't so bad, so she did the la carte Teriyaki chicken in a small box. The lady cutting the chicken and putting it in the box made sure that it's fully packed so that's highly appreciated because she made sure you get your money worth. Overall I would recommend coming here if you're craving a quick dish to eat.
