It was an extremely busy day, and there were customers complaining and putting a lot of pressure on the staff. Despite all of that, Gladys stayed incredibly calm, professional, and friendly from start to finish.

She greeted everyone with a warm attitude, kept the line moving efficiently, and handled difficult situations with patience and grace. Even while multitasking, she made sure every customer felt acknowledged and taken care of. Her professionalism really stood out, and she turned what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one.

Panda Express is lucky to have someone as hardworking, composed, and genuinely kind as Gladys. Employees like her make a huge difference. She deserves recognition for going above and beyond!“

“Needed to edit my online order but couldn’t after placing it, so called the restaurant and luckily was able to get some quick, easy assistance from David! He was able to substitute the item for me without issue. When I arrived, he confirmed my whole order for me and visually showed me that everything was there. Portions and quality were great. My favorite was the Mongolian beef. Would definitely come back, especially for a good lunch special!“

“We walked up and weren't sure if the place was open, but luckily some other patrons walked up at the same time so we followed them in. So glad we did! This is one of those Chinese places that opened when Adam was a lad and hasn't changed its approach since. The carpet looked original (and therefore quite worn, but that is literally the only thing I would change if I bought the place. I'd pay the chef whatever they wanted to stay, keep the service staff, keep the decor, and above all else, keep the menu. Traditional Chinese-American restaurant menu (quite long but mostly just variations on the same dozen recipes, swapping out proteins), but extremely well executed. We are new residents of the Valley and we will be regulars here.“

“The cold noodles were sooooo good, especially with all the hot & spicy dishes we got. $100 after tip, really reasonable with all the dishes & large portions. Rice not pictured. Had plenty to take home. Wish we lived closer! I wish there were more veggie dishes, stir fried garlic bok choy or snow pea leaves would be great, but everything was tasty.“

“Great chinese restaurant, the noodles are very fresh and the meat tasty. The beef roll appetizer is a good size. Everyone liked the soup as well. My only wish would be a way to make the dish spicy without chili oil as it makes the dish even more oily.“

“I used to come here years ago. I worked basically a few doors down at the Dispensary. I haven’t been around in years but I was over in the area and I stopped by. The stand out here is the Spicy Orange Chicken!!! It was perfectly fried and the jalapeños were the perfect complement. The noodles had a great chew to them and my two other sides had a lot of flavor. I went with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken.
There are chili oils on the counter and sriracha to take to your table. This is one of the hole in the wall places that I love.“

I got my order to go, barbecue pork fried rice and sweet and pungent shrimp.

The portion size on the barbecue pork fried rice is really good, really large. The rice was cooked perfect, the flavor is definitely there. I would get this dish again.

The sweet and pungent shrimp was okay I suppose. Way too much sugary sauce if you ask me. Also, they do use smaller size shrimp then some other places in the area. I do like the fact that they do include broccoli with the order. I believe the amount/quantity of Shrimp portion size is just a tad smaller than what I would have liked. I'm not sure if I would order this dish again though. Maybe the experience is a little bit better in person. Please keep in mind, this was a to-go order that I got.

Parking is plentiful, even though it's on Reseda and Ventura Boulevard basically. There is a free parking lot that you can park in. If you come for lunch during the week, it's definitely busy, so be prepared to park maybe a little bit further away than you'd like to.

Overall, for takeout, this place was pretty good. I have to try this place in person another time when I have more time. But all in all, I would definitely give it another try.“

“$8 combo with decent sized portion--chow mein, fried rice and a meat! Can't beat that! No frills restaurants. They don't soak their rice in oil like many Chinese restaurants. Good orange chicken, also saw they have jalapeño chicken and fried banana.

Parking might be tough in this neighborhood but it's free.

“This was our first time eating here and I have to say we were very Impressed. We were seated right away. Michael our waiter treated us so well. Explained everything on the menu and went over the new items on the menu as well. Everything was so good and Michael continuesly checked on us and always made sure our drinks were filled. He was so polite and nice. He even went out of his way to show is the 3 sauce platter since this was our first time. We have never had such a good waiter like him before. Michael deserves a raise for sure. He is absolutely AMAZING and we will be coming back!“

“We always loved Szechuan Garden. When John who is always the awesome guy who takes care of us , dining is always an awesome experience . he is so kind and knows what we need. . My kids have been going here even when my youngest was a baby. JOhn always asks how he is doing up to now and that baby is 21 yrs old now. The food is always amazing. “Ordered takeout and food was made fast. Service was quick and front of the house is friendly. The chow men is a bit thicker. Their chicken dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. Their darker sauce dishes are more flavorful than other Chinese restaurants nearby. The moo goo gai pan was good. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants here, they have saltier food, but that lends to a good flavor.“

“No dine in so I won’t review service and atmosphere. Crab Rangoon was good. Orange chicken was fairly good but some pieces had more orange flavor than others. Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more. I’ll try it again tomorrow and see if it tastes better. So, all in all, I’d say the food is kind of average.“

“Really great low priced high quality Chinese food! The place is a little rundown, but that doesn’t matter. The food is good and it is not very expensive and the service is very fast and very kind.

I highly recommend this as the only place to go for a nice sitdown Chinese meal, especially on Christmas Day.

otherwise, if you just want cheap fast, Chinese go to Panda Bowl, but just be aware of that Panda Bowl no longer serves sweet-and-sour chicken, but Imperial does.“

Best thing so far about this spot though? They have Char Siu, it's one of my favorite dishes and I've been struggling to find it here. The portions are incredibly large too, probably could split it between 2-3 meals depending on how much you eat.“

The server, was helpful. I chose, instead of getting the all you can eat option, I ordered ala cart.

I got the chicken with mixed veggies, fried rice, hot and sour soup and an iced tea.

The soup came out first. It was really, really good hot and sour. The flavors were balanced and you could tell that someone put care into the preparation. Note that they only serve a two-person portion, so I had to take some home.

The the fried rice and the chicken/veggies came. Also really tasty. The chicken was cooked perfectly.

I appreciate small, family run places. The entire meal just hit the spot. I'll definitely be back.“

“I had a terrific experience at this Panda Express inside Topanga Mall. I used my Tmobile Tuesday code on the orange chicken bowl for mobile order. When I went to pick it up, my food was already wrapped up in the bag. They give a decent amount of chicken with the rice. My sisters also met up with me after I finish eating my food and wanted to get her orange chicken bowl as well so I placed another order along with beef and broccoli. She then decided that she wanted Teriyaki chicken too but since my mobile order was already submitted, I told her to just order it in person. The line wasn't so bad, so she did the la carte Teriyaki chicken in a small box. The lady cutting the chicken and putting it in the box made sure that it's fully packed so that's highly appreciated because she made sure you get your money worth. Overall I would recommend coming here if you're craving a quick dish to eat.
