“This was a great brunch and starting with the grapefruit and juniper spritz set the right tone because they were perfectly balanced. I hate cocktails that throw off the balance with alcohol. Baked scallops, great flavor; lobster pasta I highly recommend because the sauce could be eaten by itself it’s so good; smoke salmon Benedict was done to perfection and the highlight for me was the addition of avocado and a very thin super crispy muffin! I always think muffins are too big so that was a big plus for me.“

“We came here for a dear friends birthday and BOA did not disappoint. Everything was great. The service, drinks, Rodney the security was awesome. We had a great time and we'll be back soon for sure. The only neg thing was that our table was not ready when we arrived and had to wait at the bar, but who can complain when your having a drink right?“

“Bartender Kyle and Host manager Nicole keep the show running smoothly in this chic yet cozy venue hiding in plain sight on Santa Monica Boulevard just east of La Brea. The food is quite tasty, and if you can get a seat at the bar, well, that's fun, but there ain't a bad seat in the house. Longtime home of cabaret in LA. Plenty of street parking.“

“Catch LA was a restaurant I’d wanted to experience for nearly 10 years, and I finally made it happen. It lived up to every expectation I had built up in my head.
I went for a solo dinner, and from the atmosphere to the waitstaff to the food, everything was absolutely incredible. I started with the Catch Roll and the Surf & Turf Roll, followed by the Wagyu dumplings, and finished with the New York strip. I also ordered a strawberry spritz, which was absolutely massive and paired perfectly with the meal. I wanted dessert, but I honestly couldn’t move afterward.
The meal ended up being a couple hundred dollars, but you truly get what you pay for — incredible food paired with an unforgettable environment.
Whether you’re going solo, out with friends, or hosting a business dinner, this is the place to go. The noise level is moderate, so expect some energy and conversation in the room, but the food makes it more than worth it.“

“KK had a lunch in West Hollywood that felt super vacation-like—the kind of place where you instantly slow down and relax the moment you sit down.
We started with the Casa Guacamole. The avocado was fresh, the seasoning was light, and it was a very comfortable appetizer to ease into the meal.
Then we ordered the Piña del Paraíso—refreshing tropical fruit flavors that instantly put you in a better mood.
For the sweet dishes, we went with the Cinnamon Crunch French Toast and Mayan Pancakes.
The French toast had a slightly crispy exterior with a soft center, and the cinnamon flavor was perfectly balanced.
The pancakes were thick and hearty, satisfying without being too heavy—great for enjoying slowly.
The savory dishes were solid as well:
🥚 Caprese Omelette – light and not greasy.
🍔 Madera Burger – a really fresh, juicy beef burger served with fries 🍟.
🥪 Chicken Sandwich – made with spicy chicken and topped with a sunny-side-up egg, which I personally loved.
For cocktails 🍹, we tried the Noble Margarita and Spiritual, Not Religious. Both were on the refreshing side and didn’t overpower the food, making them great for pairing with brunch.
This spot offers modern, refined Mexican cuisine, blending brunch favorites, hearty mains, and creative cocktails 🍸.
The space is bright and stylish—perfect for a weekend lunch date, or for grabbing unique cocktails and catching up with friends in the evening.“
