Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way.

It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in.

I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment.

They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'!
Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients.

“I ordered the Ahvaz after asking someone working there what is their favorite, and it did not disappoint. If you like heat and tons of flavor, I would highly recommend. The bread, sosis bandari, and seasonings were probably some of the best combinations I've ever had, and it might genuinely be the best sandwich I've had in LA. Next time I'm in LA, this is likely the first spot I'll be going to!“

“Over the past year Lokal has been my absolutely favorite place in LA. If you’re a Venice/ Santa Monica or even marina del ray or Culver City local you have to start regularly coming here.

Not once have I had a bad dish or a bad guest experience. The staff is always incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food and bevvies are super consistent and have not had one miss on this menu.

Whether it’s an on the go AM coffee, a small lunch burger to refuel me or a cozy dinner sandwich to wrap up my day. This place has been the spot.

“Bella at Original Rinaldi's is awesome if you need a sub for the beach or to grab a good cheaper option before a flight I would highly recommend stopping by. There is free parking in the alley behind the building which makes it super convenient too.“

I have been travelling around Los Angeles for two weeks and his service was genuinely the best we received on the entire trip. We were recommended the “November to Remember” special and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The sandwich was a generous portion and tasted as good as it looked. The turkey was high quality, tender and full of flavour, and the cranberry walnut toasted bread was outstanding. Everything was fresh, well balanced, and clearly prepared with care. To go with it, I had the house-made lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing and packed with real flavour.

I remember when the merchandise first came out they were having issues with shipment and delivery times so I decided to hold off and wait.

I recently purchased two t-shirts, and was looking forward to the shirts when I received a noticed that that UPS was unable to deliver the package because I needed to pay the tariffs. Now, given everything that is going on I don’t fault SAH, I just wished there was some transparency about where the product is coming from. So then I go ahead and pay the $50 tariffs and I get a message that I’ll get a new delivery date. I’m like no big deal, I love the shirts, I want to support SAH. When I go and check the new delivery date it seems the items are being sent back to sender in Canada!

So I’m like, wth did I pay tariffs for if I was never going to get my package. I contact UPS and they inform me there’s nothing they can do and the only thing that can be done is to contact the sender, unfortunately they’re not easy to get ahold of and the emails keep bouncing back, there’s no phone number to contact and I keep waiting on someone to respond to the inquiry I submitted and nothing. All I want are the shirts *crying*! I know it’s a small business but whomever is in charge of shipment and orders needs to step it up and there should also be some transparency that the items are coming from Canada so in addition to shipment fees the customer also has to pay the tariffs 😑.

Anyways I’m hoping someone sees this message and is able to help with my order before it leaves the US and then I’ll have to pay the dang tariffs again which is ridiculous.

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

I got the blueberry grilled cheese which sounds, “interesting” but you have no idea. Try it. You’ll love it.“
