“I was staying in a hotel nearby and saw this restaurant on google maps so I wasn’t sure how it would be. But honestly, this place was really excellent. One of the better Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had. All of the food was very fresh and tasty. They gave us a huge variety of dishes and I ate until I was very full, but I still felt great afterwards. On top of that, the staff were very nice. Great experience.“

“The quality of the pork belly was excellent, and the service of having the staff grill the meat for us made the experience very comfortable. The variety of pickled side dishes was impressive and paired perfectly with the meat. Both the doenjang-jjigae and kimchi-jjigae were absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was spacious and very clean. One thing I wish was that the staff could have been a bit friendlier, but overall, if you’re looking for authentic Korean-style pork BBQ, I’d definitely recommend this place.“

“Came here on a Thursday night since our daughters were visiting and we had yet to try. Place was pretty busy and we had reservations for a table. We were seated right away. Selections are varied and tiered. The premium selection gets you access to the meats on that tier as well as those on the tiers below. Banchan offering was good. The place is new and a bit trendy. Now the service well they could use an improvement by checking in more regularly. I felt like I had to chase down a staff member for more meats or refills on drinks. I get staff get busy but service is the role.“

“Highly recommended. The galbi short rib, kimchi pancake, soon tofu (especially the mushroom broth), and the banchan were all delicious. There was even a bonus ice cream, how delightful! The ambiance feels elegant and distinctly European with a chill vibe. Service was great. Will be returning!“

“This used to be my go to kbbq, but in all honesty they fell off a little. Maybe I'm comparing it to my new spot too much but in my opinion they've lessened on quality and service. The waitress takes my order but doesn't write it down and i end up not getting what I ordered. They kept changing the grill and not turning the heat up enough so everything took ages to cook and when it finally heated up they came and changed the grill again. The quality of the bulgogi beef has gone down in my opinion. That being said everything else was delicious. The brief biscuit was really good, when it finally arrives. Only know it's still highly recommend this place but I would suggest they write down the orders and hire a couple more waitresses. Also waaaay too loud. Turn down the loop slightly“

“We've eaten here a few times, both inside and takeout. Each time the food has been delicious! 🤤 We usually get the bulgogi pizza and some wings. The lady working the counter and serving the food is super nice and is like a mother making sure you're taken care of. I always try to get some food here when I'm in the area and highly recommend it!“

“We visited as a group of six. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with warm atmosphere. The food was good overall. They offer three main menu options: pork intestine, meat, and stew. One thing to note is that there are no small portions available, so it’s best to come with a group. That way, you can order and share different menus and try everything.“

We were a group of 10 and we came right at peak dinner time, which honestly sounds like a terrible idea but thankfully they were able to sit us within 40 minutes. We were sat at two tables and had a burner each. The service was great, especially with how busy they were that night. The KBBQ was super yummy and I especially loved the steamed egg, I ordered two total. The house salad was so so good- I wish someone would tell me the recipe (pls) because I ate the whole bowl. The meat came out at a decent time and I enjoyed sides. They also offered buldak ramen, which my younger cousins enjoyed- so I’m sure other parents or family members may wonder what else kids may enjoy here. I will definitely be back!“

“Gangnam House is a great spot in Orange County for Korean BBQ. The atmosphere is clean and chic. And the service is friendly and prompt.

You'll be given tools to cook your own meat. However, if you are not inclined to cook yourself, your server will cook the meat for you. This will free you up to focus on just eating.

The cuts of meat are very good and do have a premium feel. They also keep your sidedishes replenished.

“Great spot for Korean bbq but they're not an all you can eat spot, nor do they have combos. Everything is a la carte so it can get pricey. But the food is good. Oh, and always ask for fried rice after the meal. You have to pay for it but it's worth it. Side note, ground gets slippery so wear something that grips. Greasy floors.“

“First time there was today. The portions were good size, and the food was delicious. The waitresses, that waited on us were very polite and asked us every few minutes If we needed anything. My son also liked the cuts of the meats and the sauces were very good along with all the sides. We will definitely be going back again. Also, for desert ice cream. Yum.“
