“The food is so fresh and delicious. Customer service and ambiance is minimal but that's because they're working hard to make good food. I'm a freak for the spring rolls. Good sauce selection. Yummy drinks. I can't stop coming back.“

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“

“I think I found my new favorite Com Tam place. Good service, delicious Com Tam, the Tau Hu Ky was crunchy as it should be, clean seats and tables (and plenty of seating), clean restrooms, fresh modern interior design, spacious parking, selectable options with your Com Tam and very affordable, and open late! They have hot tea as well which is a must have for me. The bonus for me was the 3 types of chilis on each table. Outstanding!“

“If you are looking for duck and noodle soup this is a good place for you. The noodle soup is tasty and relatively light, served with duck salad which is poached duck on top of a light tangy salad. You can choose the carbs in the soup: rice noodles, clear vermicelli, or rice.
I liked it a lot but given the limited menu make sure you go with people who like duck or chicken... this is a pretty limited menu. Service was great, fast, friendly.
parking is tough. welcome to Bolsa.“

“She doesn’t specialize in pho but this is orange county. It was the best rare beef i’ve ever had. Her broth is peppered with black pepper. I’d recommend lots of lime. The noodles are fresh and not rehydrated.
There was no tendon or tripe in the dac biet. I’d recommend the pho tai if you’re having pho. To the owner I’d recommend just taking the dac biet off the menu. Ppl don’t come for pho dac biet, they come for pho. The pho tai is clearly your best here.“

“Quick service and delicious, fresh egg rolls! Probably the best egg rolls I’ve ever had! They were flavorful, crispy, definitely tasted fresh and not frozen. Highly recommend! Best part is they sell by small pieces so you can literally just buy 3 if you just want a small bite.“

“First time here, and Hoang Gia's owner Tang is the nicest and most friendly host!
Customer service is top notch, which will have me come back...
We tried the Crunchy Egg Rolls, which was made fresh, hot, and crispy!
The Nem Nuong Roll was delicious!
We were lucky to try a free sample of his Wonton as they sold out of it.
The Green Thai Tea was refreshing as well! My kids can't wait to come back to eat everything again!
Next time, I will try the Banh Canh Noodle Soup, I saw someone ordered it and the seafood were all individually packed for freshness!
Their cakes looked delicious as well!“

“A lot of Vietnamese old timers here! Also the service is amazing, very attentive even it’s busy!
We got the salted egg pasta with scallops and crab, crab udon soup, salted matcha, passion fruit green tea, shaken beef with rice macaroni, salmon hot plate
Everything is very flavorful, good portion to share! Recommending this place.“

“Good deal on pho!
Got the combination pho, one small and one large for $8 and $10. I regret getting the large as it was a lot of food. They give you a decent amount of meat, which was great. Overall, the pho was good although they used MSG. You'll be thirty and their water is actually pretty good.
Customer service...they'll just take your order, serve you the food, and you just walk yourself to the front to pay in cash only. And that's it. Not much talking involved.
The parking lot isn't that big in front, but you can park on the adjacent side if needed.“

“Looks attractive, tastes delicious, has its own unique qualities. I think the fish sauce is too sweet, but my friend said that Soc Trang tastes like that. Going out to eat also helps you understand more about the culture.
If it's too much, choosing a fish sauce that's just sweet enough will be even better.“

“We went here for lunch and it was packed. We had to wait a few minutes to be greeted and seated. The restaurant was clean and bustling.
Our orders came out pretty quickly and portions were a bit disappointing if you order it dry style with a side of soup.
I wish there were a bit more noodles for the Large portion that I ordered. Maybe if I ordered it as a noodle soup, it might have been better. Will have to return to try it again in that option.
A lot of people were ordering the beef bones.“

“This hole-in-the-wall is a treasure. $1.30 per egg roll with tons of variety.
My wife appreciated that they offer vegetarian rolls, but we had to buy minimum 10.
I loved the crab+shrimp+pork roll, though I could not taste the crab.
I'd love to come back to try their large shrimp egg rolls.
Parking is behind the building, as is the ordering window/door.“

“Food: We tried three things
1) We try the HK style beef chow fun and it was really amazing a must try here. You can taste the charcoal broiled taste and it was well seasoned. Might be a little oily though but the taste is very nice 5/5
2) Next is fish Congee with pork blood on sides. The presentation is nice and taste is average but I try putting little hotsauce and fish sauce to add flavor and it went well 4/5
3) Chinese Donut is a must too. taste blend well with the congee and taste is reallu 5/5.
Service: When we came in it was not too crowded so the order was done pretty fast so service is 5/5
Ambiance: It was nice and clean like typical vietnamese restaurant nothing fancy.
Parking: A lot of parking space.“

“Saying I drove 2.5hrs on a Saturday morning just to have beef stew and bread for breakfast/lunch might throw some people off but honestly its more than worth the drive. I first came to this restaurant with my wife and every other time has been fantastic. The beef stew is absolutely packed with flavor and the meat is very tender. I appreciate the carrots and fresh jalapeños which add texture and some much needed heat to the meal. The baguette was very fresh, crunchy (I guess is the right word) on the outside and so soft in the center. It did a wonderful job of soaking every drop of the stew. I will absolutely be returning any chance I get, even if it means another 2.5hr roadtrip.“

“I love a good banh mi. Especially their spam and egg. I like their bread, it’s on par with the best. Ingredients are good quality and they have a plethora of Vietnamese goodies to go. This location is better than the Tustin one- a lot more options and I think their banh mi is better too! I also like the Vietnamese iced coffee. It’s pretty strong!“

“I've visited this restaurant a few times, and I'm absolutely in love with their food. I've tried Bún Mắm, Bún Suông, and Bún Bò Huế to-go. I highly recommend the Bún Mắm and Bún Suông. The broth is rich and flavorful, and what I really appreciated is that it wasn’t overly salty. The meat and fish were incredibly fresh. This is one of the few places where Bún Mắm didn’t upset my stomach. As for the Bún Bò Huế, it was just okay for me—the broth didn’t leave a strong impression. The portions are generous and definitely worth the price. The restaurant itself isn’t very large, but it’s still spacious enough for big groups. Their service is quick and friendly, so you don't have to wait for too long to be seated. It’s clean, and there’s plenty of parking. I’m looking forward to coming back to try the Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm and Trà Đào next.“

“4.5 stars. My coworkers told me this place has been here for at least 15 years. For what it is (small Vietnamese tofu shop that sells other snacks and desserts), there was a lot of food I haven't tried before. Their Pandan Tofu was also very affordable (under $6 at time of writing).
Lots of Vietnamese desserts in the back cooler.“

“Came here on vacation to try the banh canh, and it did not disappoint! Definitely one of the best banh canh I've had, it is very rich and was super flavorful, it also came out very hot which we loved! The service was good considering there was only one server. I loved this small family owned restaurant, if I lived here I would be back every week! :)“

“I didn't expect much as a first-timer. To my surprise, the entire experience was one of a kind. Besides the signature dish being absolutely delicious, the to go box presentation was above master cheff levels. Very well thought out concept of delicate finger food. 10/10, the Vietnamese iced coffee is a must try.“

“Ok place, parking right in front is crowded so it's best to park somewhere close and walk. Food is ok but is reasonably priced. I got the pork and egg roll rice noodles. The pork was unseasoned and dry and they don't give you much. Not a lot of veggies either. But the egg rolls are good! If I come back it'll be for the egg rolls which are made using a rice paper“

“I love their banh canh cua, very simple but good as the broth is thick and flavorful, you can see all the real crab 🦀 flakes. Their crawfish is also very fresh and big. They have Bún Mắm on the menu now and I ll come back to try it.“

“Tried Cô Ba Bún Bò and was impressed! The bún bò is flavorful with a clean, aromatic broth that’s naturally sweet — not oily or heavy. The highlight is their homemade chả Huế, which is fresh, firm, and super tasty. A great spot if you’re craving authentic, comforting Vietnamese flavors.“
“I came here to order some egg rolls and fried chicken wings and it did not disappoint. I have tried the food here many times and have bought many times as well. I've never had a batch of any food that was not delicious. I highly recommend this place for parties and Catering. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get.“

“I tried the pork chop and it did not disappoint! The portion was huge with a generous cut of meat, juicy and tender with a nice sear. The plate was loaded, definitely a full meal and then some. Lots of flavor, well-seasoned, and served in true hearty Vietnamese style.

“This is hu tiếu Mỹ Tho. So this style is sweeter than other versions and their noodle is more chewy. Kudos to the owner for staying true to their root. The price is just right. The steam bun is superior than Yummy across the street. I grown up in Việt Nam eating at their original store there every months. This is as close as it gets.“

“Lo-key best pho in FV. They always greet you with “my friend” and seat you quickly. I feel like I am getting a hug from my grandma whenever I eat there. At one point I was going 2-3 times a week but after moving I try to make the trip at least once every two weeks or so.
They never disappoint and Egg rolls are always a good idea.
Also, I see some reviews saying cash only buy I wanted to clarify, they do accept card too.“

“Is this the best pho value around?
Finding a solid bowl of pho under $10 isn’t easy these days, but this spot delivers. We went for the larger bowl, just $2 more, and it felt worth it. The broth leaned a bit oily yet still clean and flavorful—exactly what you’d expect from a good pho base. Wide noodles are our go-to; they give off a fresher vibe even if they’re truly different. The meat was satisfying, not prime cuts, but for the price it’s more than fair. Overall, a hearty, worthy bowl and a great value.
Service was what you’d expect from this type of establishment—efficient in handling our orders. The ambiance was straightforward, with a simple design and no unnecessary frills. Restrooms weren’t filthy like a gas station, but they could benefit from some upkeep.“

“As a fan of BBH and BBC, I'm quite picky about where to eat. Thanks to a friend's introduction, I stopped by the restaurant for lunch and was very satisfied. The restaurant has delicious Bun Bo Hue dish. The soup is rich, the vermicelli bowl is full, vermicelli, meat and broth are not empty like other places, enough for a healthy eater to eat. There are a few other shops that sell slightly smaller bowls of vermicelli. I'm a healthy eater, but after eating it, I still feel hungry. and Banh Beo cup is very delicious. The fish sauce is just right, the banh beo flour is mixed properly, the banh beo is not too soft or chewy or has lumps of flour like other places. In general, I am very satisfied when I found a suitable restaurant. This restaurant will be on my list to eat and drink. And the restaurant space is spacious, there is a distance between the tables, too close so it feels private, if you sit and eat and chat, it is also comfortable. The shop has middle-aged waiters and people from the Central region, so they should be gentle and gentle. I don't feel rushed or rushed when ordering or paying. I see that the restaurant is too crowded, there are young people serving, they are cool, agile and full of energy so they do everything quickly, and Noisy customers, like me, are not suitable for eating at those restaurants, because the feeling is that we are fighting for food, not enjoying the food. So 10 points for this restaurant. The shop plays Vietnamese music without lyrics, so the atmosphere is light and fast, very much like the fragrant river and mountains. In general, browsing!
Only one suggestion is that Vietnamese restaurants should pay attention to updating the hours posted online. On Sundays, I read on Google and saw that they closed at 9:00, and at 8:15 I saw that the lights were turned off and it was dark... a bit annoyed because I had to drive. car. Then I drove past Bun Bo way and it was 8:30, they were also closed and were sweeping the house, it was so annoying.“

“Finally a place that gets it right. Great food, price and clean! No price or tip gouging, so don’t come here expecting and complaining. It’s all about the food and prices. Ate here 6-7 times, food always consistent. I see some bad reviews it’s their hateful competitors 🤡“

“I’m from Canada and my goal is to find the best Hu Tiu on this strip.
They lost 1 star because I ordered rice noodle, however I received egg noodle. However, the food was so good that it is still four stars.
Their sauce is very well seasoned and blend perfectly with the noodles with the right amount.
The portion sizes were more than adequate, and the noodles had exceptional chewiness with the right amount of sauce.
The wontons are delicious. Taste just like Vietnam. They came in the soup which were also very good.
They give free drinks which is called Nước Mát. It’s quite sweet but it cut the grease from the noodles“

“Extremely GENEROUS portions of HIGH QUALITY meat, for both sizes.
There are two sizes: medium and large. The large is equivalent to an extra large you might find at other Pho places. You get to customize your bowl by selecting four cuts of meat out of 10 options. The pho comes with your standard toppings, and you can additionally get extra orders of noodles/sides/toppings.
Having been to the other famous Pho places in OC, Pho 101 honestly has the most accessible dining experience for a comparably delicious broth. The space is large and the service is fast, meaning less to no wait in line. And you have the option to pay by cash or card (pay at the front).“
