“Solid spot for Japanese-Korean food in Whittier. The menu is small but focused which I like. We got the Cheese Katsu meal, Omurice, and Egg Sando. The Katsu was cooked well, not too greasy, very flavorful. The Omurice was my fave, fluffy and the sauce was really good. Another highlight was the Yuzu Panna Cotta we got for dessert. It was citrusy, not too sweet, great texture, we really enjoyed it. Their Matcha Yuzu-ade was refreshing as well. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will be coming back to try some things we weren't able to fit in this time around.“

“I can’t give enough stars. I ordered catering for my son’s 2nd birthday. I live in Las Vegas and I was able to order everything via email with Josh. I explained the sides I was going to have and the number of guests. He predicted my food exact! Everyone enjoyed the food! “First time here and it met our expectations. It has a very romantic and luxurious atmosphere. The sensory experience was warm and elegant inside. Dim lighting, gentle music, and stylish decor. Food was delicate deliciousness in every bite! So many subtle flavors excellently combined to delight my tastebuds. We started with an Azabu Old Fashion and Lemon Drop Martini....perfectly crafted and served. For appetizers, we enjoyed: Wagyu Dumplings and Spicy Garlic Edamame. For our mains: Toro Uni sashimi (incredible!), and Salmon sashimi. Spicy Tuna and Albacore rolls and the Denver Wagyu Carpaccio (with Hot Stone). Desert: Ube Japanese Cheesecake! If you are looking for that perfect night out, enjoying delicious food in a warm romantic setting, you won't miss here. I will definitely be coming back!“

“Outside dining or indoor sports bar like atmosphere. It's a nice little place near uptown Whittier. Fried Basa combined with the butter sauce was extremely delicious. Nothing beats a beer and fish n chips. Lobster taco wasnt really the type of lobster i expected, but i mainly came for the fish n chips“

“Food was amazing. The orange drink was an absolute favorite. I ordered to go and my son accidemtally left partial order by the salsa table. When i called staff confirmed that the order was left. i went back to pick up the food and the staff prepared a fresh order for me. I was so grateful. Will definitely keep coming.“

For being a Japanese restaurant this food is very tasty, the only thing is that they will serve your food in to go plates. Understandable, but if you are craving something with a lot of variety very good food, healthy and good in nutrients I have to recommend you this place. “We love Joy. My family have been regulars for many many years. Food is awesome. Service is great, servers friendly. Only bummer, when we, as a family, went to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, we presented a gift certificate my husband & I were gifted from my Kids. It was issued at the end of 2019, expired at the end of 2020. Because of Covid we did not venture out until late last year. They did not not honor it. A little bit of a disappointment, but not going to keep us from frequenting our fav local sushi restaurant.“

“Thai food in this neighborhood have all fallen for some reason, and I thank this place for opening to pick up where they lack. I think it's great they came into a location that has very mediocre Thai restaurants around with decent ambiance but low quality food. Instead of focusing on a dine in experience, this place is all about delicious Thai take out.
The drunken pad noodles and spaghetti are great and Thai level spicy.
The pineapple fried rice is also delicious.
This is my new go to Thai spot.“
