“Talk about OG. This place has been around and it shows. Old western like memorabilia and brick seating. Pizza is spot on with crust that is thick and crispy right out of the oven. They have a bar area for ordering drinks. You can just get a pitcher of modelo while you wait. They have an all you can fit on a plate salad bar and some arcade games for kids. Their meatball sub is fantastic too with great crispy but soft bread. Cannot go wrong with the place. Parking is tough but manageable even on street.”

“I absolutely love this little spot! The food is amazing with authentic Mexican flavors. I’ve tried everything from the pozole, menudo, and cecina to the carne asada quesadillas, chilaquiles, pressed chicharrón gorditas, and tacos — all of it is fresh, flavorful, and served just right. The people here are so welcoming and truly kind. Even when I order takeout, they’re just as accommodating and make sure everything is packed up well. Definitely a must-visit!”

“This a great place for pupusas.I had both a loroco and a revuelta pupusa. The loroco was very cheesy and had a very nice light veggie taste from the blossoms. The revuelta was full of flavor and not overly salty.The cortiodo had a nice bite to it and a pleasant balance between the herbs and vinegar.I also had a tamale de elote, it tasted very fresh. It came with crema and beans, and was a nice finish to my lunch.I think they make their own tamarindo Agua fresca - it had a nice tartness without being overly sweet.”

“I was looking for hibachi and Oishi came up - I live right down the street and had no idea they were here! This place has fantastic traditional Japanese fare, and it's incredibly priced. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the service is quick. It definitely has an old school lived in kind of vibe, which tracks with Wilmington (it's one of the reasons I like living here!). I had beef fried rice (perfect portion) which came with a large side salad (delicious traditional dressing included), and egg rolls; everything was delicious, and I will definitely be back!”

“The Workers were funny cracking jokes it was kinda busy when I got there so the wait time was about 15-20 mins between the time you ordered and got your food. I was craving a charbroiled cheeseburger and it was delicious the prices weren't too bad either between 5-10 dollars for most items at least lunch items. Overall I would recommend this place if you not in a rush and want a good burger.”

“Amazing food, tacos al pastor are definitely the best that we have tried in the US. True “trompo” pastor. Everything was great but the plain al pastor taco directly from the trompo was amazing! I would really suggest them to use the same trompo meat for all the other things like quesadillas.”

“I had a craving for pupusas and found this place through Google Maps-and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the pupusas rancheras, which came with two huge chicharrón pupusas-honestly, the biggest I’ve ever had. They were served with a side of refried black beans, Central American-style sour cream, two sweet banana slices, and a rich red sauce that tied everything together perfectly.

Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. I’m definitely planning to come back and will be recommending this place to my friends and family. Highly recommend!”
