“Ive been coming here for 30 years, since I was a kid. I moved away from the area and havent been back in over ten years, but it was one of the gems I was looking forward to visiting, if it was still standing. To my absolute delight, the Teriyaki Masudaya is still standing! I had the pleasure of stopping by last week to eat my favorite there, their house plate with beef, chicken, and prawn alongside a salad with their signature dressing.. and I was so happy to find that the recipes have been passed down from the original owners, tastes just as good as I remember. Always a lovely management/staff as well. Thank you TM for still standing when so many others have fallen. You are a symbol of my childhood and I plan to keep coming back. 😊❤️“

“Be careful- the spicy tuna crispy rice is addicting! Taisho is our go to spot when family & friends visit from out of town. You can’t go wrong with anything you order there. It’s all delicious. Highly recommend checking out their happy hour!“

“In my book, this is the best Teriyaki chicken in the valley, maybe even Los Angeles. I have done dine in and take out, both situations yielding the same great food. The meals have great portions. But the teriyaki chicken and rice is the best. The chicken is never dry and always grilled with their terrific teriyaki sauce. It never tastes like it's been sitting on the grill for an hour, it's always fresh. Absolutely worth your time if you are a lover of good teriyaki.“

Sometimes there can be a wait on food but only because they're incredibly popular and I'd even say a valley classic at this point. “I had the chicken katsu for lunch and the portion size was so large I couldn’t finish it in one sitting but it was one of the best restaurants I’ve tried since being out here. I had to take my husband here for dinner and he got the chicken teriyaki, shrimp and steak and finished his entire plate. This place definitely deserves to be on your review board.“

“Masa-san serves chef's choice, and the food is fresh and delicious. Eating here is an extremely delightful experience. The sweet shrimp with eggs is one of my favorites. Always finish your meal with at least 1 (maybe 2 or ...) of his blue crab rolls. The crab is carefully hand-pulled, the rice is warm, and the seaweed is crisp. You won't find that combination of quality and easy dining experience anywhere else in the Valley. Please try it!“

I've been to Kopan Ramen in different locations, but I would rate this place the highest. I'm not sure if this place can handle large parties, but groups of 1-4 are perfect.“

“The food is AMAZING. I do feel a bit cheated out of the overall experience. The joint is inside the supermarket and they don’t have a seating area. Something the previous reviews neglected to mention. For a $100+ order and two have to take it to go, it’s definitely not what I expected. We did a picnic nearby to adjust. The food is a culinary trip. I highly recommend them. It is by far one of the best sushi joints in the San Fernando Valley.“

“I ordered chicken teriyaki bowls with no veggies to go. They have a bunch of sauces you can choose from. I tried the orange, bulgogi, and the teriyaki sauces. I liked the bulgogi the most and my son liked the teriyaki sauce the most. The customer service was great, they were very patient with me when I had to change my order due to someone else. I think next time I will add veggies and try some more sauces and meats. The place looked clean and the staff was nice. I will definitely come again and I'm glad it's near my house“

“I ordered miso soup, gyoza, tempura ice cream, and edamame. The miso soup was perfect; it was well-balanced and tasty. The gyoza was decent, but the portion of sauce provided for the two gyoza was quite small and could have been better. The only item I didn’t like was the tempura ice cream. Since it was a delivery order, the tempura was soggy, and the ice cream had melted. Additionally, the flavor of the green ice cream was unclear and not enjoyable. I believe it would have been better if they used higher-quality ice cream for the tempura. Overall, the order was good, but I wish I could have also ordered sushi rolls. However, since I am pregnant, I wanted to avoid any risks.“

If you've ever seen the anime food wars every bite is like the scenes when one of the judges takes a bite of the dish and they nut so hard there clothes explode off of them. It's plenty of food and the katsu was bigger than my hand.It's located at the food court area inside of Galleria market so it's an easy spot to go in and get lunch. Parking lot can get full but at 2pm on a weekday, there was plenty of parking.I've ordered from here multiple times and haven't been disappointed. Great spot“

“My family and I have been coming to Doko Sushi for the past few years. Food is excellent and service is fast. Try their Doko special which comes with soup, protein like salmon, sushi and sashimi. The best value. And you get to enjoy a complete meal. They do not cut corners on the quality of their sushi and sashimi like some other restaurants. It’s a family run business and they care about their customers.“
