“Beautiful interior with tall open beam ceiling. Large windows to the north end of the room. Tables have good space between them. Walls decorated with large photographs of the Yosemite area. Menu is limited but should offer choices for most. Not inexpensive and really not child friendly options. We have eaten here several times each year for a decade and keep coming back. Service is always excellent. We have enjoyed this option over the Awanhee hotel dining room.”

“Overall the experience was good (2nd meal in 4 days there). The server was great but staffing was short and the bar was being refurbished. So, no cocktail and they forgot the salad. Despite excellent pacing two days ago, this night was a miss. That said, the server was excellent and the food tasted great. The steak was tasty and cooked to perfection and to the requested warmth. The flourless chocolate torte was really great. Often, these are only good; this one was off-the-charts great.”

“Found this late after overpaying for food in the gift shop which is in the front of the building.
They have different choices each day and prices were not bad for what you get. The food was actually pretty good, but that could have been we were just back from a day of hiking and were starving?
Staff are mostly friendly, we did get a older guy on the last day that didn't seen to be enjoying his job, but the younger staff were all friendly and willing to chat when they weren't busy, they are a great resource for pointers and suggestions on places to see while there.”

“Tasty bites for everyone. Quick, efficient service at normal ark prices...i.e. a bit high, but convenience is everything. The Peets Coffee staff deserve a special shout out as they appeared severely understaffed and rose to the occasion!
The blowers above the entrance doors are obnoxiously loud...but I'm sure there's a method to their madness.”

“After a long day of hiking, one of my favorite things is a good margarita and who would have thought I’d find a fantastic one right in Yosemite? 1899 Bar was such a pleasant surprise. The space is clean and modern, with a comfortable vibe that feels perfect after being out on the trails. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which just added to the experience. Definitely a gem in the park! 🍹🌲”

“Honestly can’t fault the food or service. We went on a busy Friday and ordered the chicken tenders, pulled pork sandwich, onion rings and fries. We really enjoyed our food- it was hot, tenders were crispy and chicken moist. The fries and sandwich were also great. The onion rings were also really crisp and hot when we got them. It took less than 10 mins for food for 4 people to come out. Server was friendly and patient. Not to mention the food was really reasonably priced especially considering where you are. Will be visiting again.”

“Went for breakfast the Tuesday after Labor Day. We'd stayed in Curry Village and were about to hike Vernal and Nevada falls, so this was convenient. The dining pavilion opens at 7am for breakfast and they serve some nice hot options. I had the burrito and my friend had the pancakes. It was all good. They have nice clean spacious restrooms right at the entrance. There are water refill stations both inside, and there's one with good flow right outside the gift shop / grocery store. Also pretty nice views outside in the morning light.”

“Good breakfast inside the park. The coffee corner offers small tables inside with a pleasant fireplace. The atmosphere that the fireplace gives in the midst of the mountains is priceless. Good sunrise roll.
Parking: Wide availability of parking outside near the venue.”

“The hotel dining room is always a lovely place to have a fabulous meal. Excellent service, good food and such a beautiful setting! It is well worth treating yourself to dining there at least once in your life!”
“Espresso drink was made within 2 minutes, but food took over 20 minutes. I'd recommend you eat at the main restaurant instead but just get coffee here if Starbucks is your jam. That said, if this is "roughing it" out in the wilderness then life ain't too bad.”

“GREAT pizza!! Meat lovers - yum! Veggie lovers - same! Dined there twice in four days! Get there early - the 5:30 rush is significant - still worth the wait! Hint: get the same beer (or better!) at the Village Store (around the corner) instead of the 1899 bar - $13 vs $4 for 23oz Firefall Red vs 32oz (2x 16oz cans). 12oz can of Modelo - $1.50 vs $9 draft.”
