“10 out of 10 recommend if in Napa. Symptomatic celiac wife and they offered nearly entire menu, including several desserts, are or can be made gluten free. Burrata with roasted peppers, crispy artichoke, and king salmon. Caramelized banana split for dessert. All were excellent. Amazing ambience—art gallery, chandeliers, huge fire places, live trees with lights, glass atrium ceiling. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick! Waiter even phoned our hotel when it was time for shuttle to come pick us up. Well done, RH.“

We had some extra time before our reservation, so we stopped by the RH Wine Vault, where a young Hispanic gentleman took great care of us. I wish I remembered his name because he truly elevated the experience. He walked me through the wine I ordered, shared background about the winemaker, and gave us a bit of history that made that first sip even more meaningful. His knowledge and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for the evening. At dinner, our waiter continued that same level of service. It was a busy Friday evening, but the manager found us a place to sit at the bar within about 10 minutes, and apologized for the wait (which was totally unnecessary). I had the surf and turf daily special and my wife had the filet medallions. We shared the butterscotch pudding for dessert, which I would highly recommend. The staff was attentive and the kitchen cooked our steaks to perfection. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in St. Helena“

My friends and I had a lovely time on the 4 course tea train for my birthday. It was all of our first times ever riding the wine train and we enjoyed it, however for the price you pay, you really don’t get your moneys worth (soup, salad, finger/cucumber sandwiches, desserts)and we didn’t even stop to get off the train. Also there really isn’t much to look at fields, a couple stores, construction sites, trailer parks, and few wineries). It’s definitely OVERPRICED! I would do it again if it becomes cheaper though. Maybe offer unlimited wine along with the tea, better food, and something for people celebrating their birthdays. I’m so happy my cousin bought along decorations (vines, rose pedals, 36 lights) to make our area extra cute !!!“

“Came from Maine to visit family. Ate this breakfast alone. Staff was attentive and friendly. Hash browns had a Tblsp. of chopped raw onion and peppers added, which really elevated this homely dish quite nicely. Very happy with the breakfast at a reasonable price.“

My husband is vegetarian, I am vegan, and everything was delicious and exactly as we requested. The deep-fried dish was my favorite. I could eat that every day. It was on another level. Especially the sauce, which I think was tamarind. The flavor was so rich. The wine was also good. I thought it was a very delicate and thoughtful touch that the glasses were personalized with the restaurant’s name. I also really liked the service, very attentive and friendly. I found the decoration with fresh flowers on the table beautiful—real flowers, not synthetic or artificial. My husband and I spent about an hour here. It was very satisfying, and I plan to come back next time I visit Napa.“

The restaurant is very clean, the food is flavorful and staff are super friendly and welcoming (especially Sandhu and Amrit). I honestly haven’t had Indian food this delicious since I visited India. I appreciate the long list of vegetarian and vegan options (which can be challenging to find in our area)…every one I have tried has been beyond my expectations. The blends of spices are complex and layered, giving every dish so much flavor. I highly recommend giving my favorite restaurant on in Napa Valley a try! Five stars for certain!“

“We've eaten at Downtown Joes several times. The food and drinks are good. This time I ordered the Fish & Chips and was pretty disappointed. Each piece looked like a decent size piece of fish. Unfortunately the batter was way too thick. At least a 1/4" thick, possibly more. The fish was very good and I wound up removing the fish from the batter and ate the fish without the batter. I won't get the fish and chips again.“
