“My husband and I have driven past this place several times and somehow overlooked it. Saw some reviews and thought we'd give it a try. Super impressed. Our waiter was so personable, the food was so yummy and so were the house margaritas. The latter are made from scratch and you can tell. The atmosphere is what I'd call basic but what impressed me was the cleanliness. The space was spotless. We'll definitely be back.“

“OMG!!! I still have to try something that I don't like here, but y'all, the Carne Asada taco is the best on earth!!! Since my first time here this became my favorite spot for tacos! Hands down the best I've EVER had in my life and I'm not joking!! (same goes for the location in LaFayette). These guys know what they are doing! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!! You won't regret it! Cocktails (Mojito, Dama Maria and Margaritas) are amazing too, and also the appetizers (Guacamole and Queso Fondido) are to die for! “I ordered catering from El Pollo Loco yesterday for a group event of 30 people, and I was genuinely impressed.
Our order was ready right on time, everything was hot, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every single person on our team was happy, which is not easy to do with a group that size.
The manager went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated that they even asked how I preferred the catering to be packaged. I had ordered box lunches, but they offered alternative options like trays to make sure it was most convenient for our event. That level of attentiveness and flexibility really stood out.
Great food, great service, and a smooth experience from start to finish. We will definitely be ordering catering from them again.“

“Fantastic. Stopped for a breakfast burrito and it was quick, hot, and delicious. They offered three levels of heat for the chili and the hot had a little kick which was nice. I had the chorizo, egg, potato, chili and cheese with hot chili, and my son had bacon with the mild chili. We both enjoyed the burritos. They are a good size and very flavorful. The man working inside the trailer was super friendly and my burrito was ready in about 2 minutes. I live nearby and have been meaning to stop by. I will definitely be back!“

“Ordered the chile rellanos and a bean and cheese burrito. The burrito was great. Standard, and good. No frills, just what I wanted. It came with one green and one red sauce. The sauces were good and flavorful. The chile rellanos were soft which is not my preferred style (I like crispy), but they were great. They came with rice and beans and sour cream and guac and were smothered with a tortilla on the side. I really enjoyed the food.

The staff were friendly. There is an interesting quirk to this place, I think it is the only place I have been to that has the drive-through on the wrong side. So, you pick the order up through your passenger window. I wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but it was fine. The person at the window stretches out to you with a tray and uses this method to hand your payment and food back and forth. I will say, part of the menu board was hard/impossible to read with the way they have it set up. I had to pull up, read the combos, then back up and enter the drive thru. Not a big deal, but this is one place that makes this place a little different than the rest.

I would say that the strange drive thru configuration may impact you if you have a handicap and cannot lean far over your passenger seat to get your order and pay so keep that in mind if handicapped.

“Honestly, totally unexpected. I ended up getting their birria grill cheeses with the mango habanero hot sauce. I thought the price was a bit steep when I first purchased it but after getting the food, it’s a huge sandwich. The meat is prepared perfectly. The cheese is the right portion and the Texas toast was toasted just right. Definitely a spot, I will return to the next time I’m in the area.“
