“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“

“I live in Avon and Northside is one of my go to places. They have a fantastic happy hour with Kat at the bar. Not only does she pour a great cocktail, bit is attentive and on the ball. She knows how to keep her customers happy. They should be thrilled to have her. The drinks are prefect and the food yummy. Better than most over the top expensive places in downtown Vail.“

“The Thai food we had was amazing definitely a must visit. They have a wide variety of vegetarian options, and everything was very flavorful. This is the best Thai food I’ve had so far. Chef Daniel did an excellent job bringing out incredible flavors in every dish. Our server, Young, was very kind and took great care of us, especially with our vegetarian requests.“

“Excellent meal at Juniper last night. Scallop appetizer was excellent as was the Halibut. Had a glass of California bubbly that was as good as most champagnes I've had. Nice wine list but only had a glass as I was solo. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a nice patio out front but not quite patio weather. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the side salad as I was hoping for a more traditional Austrian or a German salad with pickled veggies and vinegarette. “On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

“I rate it low, because the waitress took my drink (a Negroni) away from the table before it was finished without asking me if he can take it away. Once he came back and I claim to him he told me that he did it because it was not full, which he was right, but “wrong answer”..!! He shoul have 1st. apologize, 2nd. offer another one, or 3rd. if I did not wanted another one cause we ordered wine, he should have not charged in the bill. Obviuosly he was bad “trained” on how to deal with a mistake he made like that. Apart from that, everything else very good!“

“We had a great experience at Garfinkel’s, thanks largely to our server, Megan. She was friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed without being overbearing. We sat on the patio such a great choice and the food was outstanding! We enjoyed the chili, hot chocolate, nachos, and an IPA, all of which were excellent. Megan not only gave spot-on menu recommendations but also shared great suggestions for things to do around Vail, which really enhanced our visit. Wonderful service and a perfect place to relax. A must-stop when you’re in Vail!“

Word to the wise: The shareable meals (e.g. the magnificent duck carnitas) can feed the whole table. We got two shareable meals for 4 people and took home bags of leftovers. “We were a group of 7, combination of adults and teens, and had an amazing Christmas Eve dinner. Ambience is both elegant and cozy, exact balance we needed after a tiring ski day. We all ordered different dishes and everything was delicious. I really liked the Norwegian Salmon, others enjoyed fish tacos, chicken sandwich, cobb salad, tuna poke bowl and seafood spagetthi. Apfelstrudel was the star of the night.“
