“The food was great, I had the street tacos with rice and beans and my partner had a steak quesadilla. I don’t ever like beans but I decided to give these a try and they were EXCELLENT! Seasoned really well and honestly almost stole the show from my tacos. We were just visiting the area and it was our first time but if we ever come back I look forward to eating here again! The only negative I’d have is the service was a bit slow and we filled up too much on the chips and salsa.“

“Carlos' Bistro remains a local icon. We had not been in several years but were so glad to return recently. This is a traditional restaurant with the highest standard of food and personal service. Carlos still oversees that everything is perfect. Where else do they ask and remember your names? Stephanie was also outstanding, as were our salad, soup, and entrees. Highly recommended!“

“Love this place so much! I’m not usually a fan of chain restaurants but my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they source locally as much as they can. We have been here a few times now and every single time it has been great. The food and service are consistently good. Every server we have had was amazing. I used to work in restaurant industry for years so I notice the little things. I love to see multiple managers on the floor talking to customers, refilling drinks, running food. One server I have to point out is Jennifer, she’s never actually been our server but always remembers us, specifically my daughter who was having a meltdown one day and she offered to bring her a bowl of fruit. And we weren’t even in her section. Great service, thank you!“

UT is so flavorful, and so GOOD at balancing their flavors! “This was such an excellent meal and all around experience!! 😍 we had the pan seared chicken dumplings that had excellent flavor, the lentil soup was super light and tasty. I got the korma with lamb and the flavor was rich and had depth, highly recommend it. My friend had the Sherpa combo that had tikka masala chicken, curry, and the rice pudding and it was all fantastic! My favorite was the saag, super flavorful without being overly spicy and it mixed well with everything. The mango lashi is an absolute must try as well. 10 stars highly recommend this restaurant!“

“This is one of the best experiences I’ve had going out to restaurants. The physical place was very cool and designed great. The menu is awesome and creative. Once the food came it was incredible and far more than I had imagined. I talked with the owner who had a great attitude and you can see the passion he put into all the details as well as every employee and the chef who created this awesome menu and has been there since the beginning 11yrs ago. Even the servers had great attitudes and brought their each personalities along with them to each table. Our server was Lila, and was thee best server I’ve ever had. “I had the BBQ chicken sandwich. The chicken was fresh, with juicy chunks of chicken breast. I would recommend this place if you're hungry for sandwiches. They have a wide variety of sandwiches on the menu and you can modify any of them. It's themed after marijuana smoking, and it is reflected in the names of the sandwiches and the decorations. So, if you are offended by that, don't go. But, you'll be missing out on some delicious sandwiches. Yum!!“

“Best bakery in Colorado by far! Freshly milled sourdough and at high altitude, its so hard to replicate at home. Just off the Santa Fe trail so we make a bike date out of it every Saturday morning and the owner is always there with a kind smile. Live orchestra music makes the line go by fast and sometimes there are local fresh flowers available! Better than any of the farmer's markets in town! It's my favorite part of the week. Also, the dark chocolate cookies are the best I've ever had. They are toothy, salty and the chocolate is high quality. LOVE!“
