“Dinner was tasty! The kitchen fumbled my burrito (didn’t make it correctly) but our waitress was a real star QB and called an audible for me. They promptly returned a new burrito for me in its correct option so I enjoyed a great meal. My family devoured theirs as well, finishing a bit before me since I had to wait for the second round. We’d eat here again! If you ever want something a little different but super tasty, get the smothered Barbacoa burrito but add chicharrones. It’s so good! Also… for 4 of us the meal was around $80 after tip which is less expensive than going almost any other place nowadays. Gone are the days of a $50 meal for 4 🤣🤷🏽‍♂️ most of the time it’s $100 now.

“We just had my mom’s 90 Birthday Party. McCarty’s went above and beyond what I expected. The food was delicious, Riley was our server for the party she kept everyone happy with drinks and quality service and was such a pleasant young lady. The cost was affordable and communication wonderful. I highly recommend them for your party venue, or just a dinner out. Thank you so much for making this Birthday so wonderful.“

Parking: The place is small so there is plenty of parking in their parking lot. There is a nice outdoor eating area, too.

“Came in at 7 pm after a 12 hour shift because I was hungry and curious. Was served an absolutely massive al pastor chimichanga and about a half gallon of homemade horchata. The chimichanga was delicious. I don't think I've ever had one so good before. The service was great, very friendly workers. The lobby was empty save for me so the cook came back and chatted with me for a bit, that was nice. Super fair price for what you get. Highly recommend“

“I found this Taqueria by accident on a Sunday. I was going to Tamale Heaven and they were closed. As I was driving away I saw Taquera Los Cazos across the street. What an awesome find. They have FANTASTIC tamales. 4 different kinds, really big and good. Real bang for you buck! They were still warm and delicious. The husband and wife were so nice. I will be back, these guy's tamales are as good as if not better than across the street. Just got lucky in finding them but so glad I did.“

Added on December 31, 2024: I'm not sure I'll eat there again. The porch or balcony area outside had a lot of trash. The trash can was full and trash was scattered about. When I went inside, employees were in the kitchen on their phones. It seems like taking a few minutes and cleaning up the outside area would be time well spent. If the front door is not welcoming and clean, it's hard for me to trust the cleanliness of the kitchen and that is a big turn off. Maybe I'll give it one more try.“

“This is one of favorite Mexican restaurants! Typically every Sunday after church I’ll stop by here and order the Palomino burrito with steak. The portions are very large, the flavor is spectacular, and the food always comes out so fast and tastes the same every time. “We stopped in this restaurant that is celebrating 54 years today. I had the chimichanga, and my wife had the fajitas, and they were great! The chimichanga dinner was presented well with half an avocado and tasted great!

“This place is great! I needed cow heart wich is super hard to get. I spoke with Enrique and he managed to order it and we were able to get it the next day, he was really nice and called me when it was ready to pick up. “Food's always great here & the service as well, we get food here almost twice a week for the past 13 years & we've never been disappointed. Not so much at their 2nd location off of W. 10th St, of course the food is great, but the service & attitudes can be better.

Parking: This location used to be a Pizza-Hut, so there is plenty of parking space available.

Wheelchair accessibility: There aren't any steps anywhere & I've seen people in wheelchairs go in & out with no trouble at all & there is plenty of room inside to move around in a wheelchair.“

I enjoyed every bite! There was an older Hispanic man cooking in the back and he was quick too! My friends ordered Carne Asada fries and a Carbe asada Torta. Everyone loved their food. The beef enchiladas were tender and very juicy. What I really liked was that we could dine in at 2AM!!! The place is humble looking and very plain, but it’s worth every single penny! I will definitely be coming back. I gave a 4 for the decor being so plain. But the food was a solid 4.5!! No complaints! The horchata was yummy and not watered down like most.“
