“Had great lunch here yesterday. New Owner, Kacey, making some good changes. BLT was great (plenty of bacon!), service was good. Looking forward to many meals here this summer.“

“My husband and I visited The Columbine Cafe in Breckenridge last weekend. We loved the cozy inviting atmosphere. It reminded me of some of our local eateries in Kansas. The service was great even though they were busy. The food was great as well and the cost was very reasonable. I got the reuben and my husband got chicken fried steak. We will visit again in the future!“

“An awesome place.
This is an oasis retreat with the greatest views near the Continental Divide.
I love the friendliness of everyone working and serving hot food. I love the old wood fireplace that has wire and clothes hangers to dry your gloves! The views are crazy great!!
The place to stop for lunch, a rest stop, and relax before hitting the slopes for the rest of the day!
Do it!!“

“Black mount lodge pretty much has it all but is well known for their burgers and barbeque. I had the cheeseburger with fries for $20. It was the best lodge burger I have ever had. I heard the barbeque was amazing but I did not get the chance to try it. I also ate breakfast here at one of the Uphill and Chill events and it was amazing. All you can eat chef prepared breakfast and mimosa bar for $35. I highly recommend it if you are up for the challenge of snowshoeing or skiing up the mountain. The menu consisted of Crispy Pork Belly and Waffles, Sweet Potato Hash, Scrambled Eggs, Country Biscuits and Red-Eye Gravy, Strawberry and Asparagus Salad, and Blueberry-Banana Oatmeal Cake. The mimosa bar had several purees and fruit to add to your bubbly as well as juices.“

“Stopped in for a quick espresso and ended up loving the atmosphere. They were kind enough to let my dog come in with me while I ordered, which I really appreciated. The coffee was great, the space has a cool, welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to when I’m in the area.“
