We walked in here for the first time yesterday right after getting married not knowing what to expect, and the staff could not have been more welcoming or gracious. They gave us a private table and helped us celebrate with champagne and dessert. Despite other people dining there, they made us feel like we were the only ones they were serving. Better yet, the food was incredible, especially if you're gluten free! The atmosphere is also fantastic. Dining here made our wedding day even more special. “We were here for wine in the pines. Awesome venue. Couldn't ask for better food or wait staff. Outstanding. Highly recommend next year for anybody to go to wine in the pines. It's a great charity event for ability connections Colorado. It helps hundreds of kids. Thanks to keystone ranch for their hospitality.“

“Amazing staff! We stayed in the River Run Dakota Lodge which had a heated pool for the kids and hot tubs for the adults. It was a quick 5 min walk to the gondola, groceries, and restaurants. Kids 2-day, full-day ski school was effective and gave parents time to ski.“

“Beautiful spot to stop while skiing the slopes at Keystone. Mountain vistas, clean air, happy people. They were severely understaffed, so the wait was long for food and the garbage was a bit out of control. I am sure it would not be the case with a full staff. Even with that, I very much recommend you stop in. Food was pretty tasty and the atmosphere fantastic.“

“We ordered the spinach artichoke appetizer and the grilled jalapeños burger. Everything was amazing. Best spinach artichoke dip I’ve had at any restaurant and it’s something my husband and I like to order everywhere. The burger, I can’t recommend enough. The meat was cooked perfectly, the aioli sauce was very complimentary and the Frisco cheese and avocado just put it over the top. The service was great and fast, even with the bartender taking care of everyone herself. Definitely a great place to dine!“

“Came here for the first time last year loved the bruschetta, avocado, bruschetta, the bloody Mary bar, and the many hot drinks they make which you can take to go. Came back again this year Barbara took care of us. She was great now we are charged up and ready to rip the mountain for the second half.“

“Plenty of seating and spots to watch kiddo during lessons. Didn’t try food, but was smelling really good by lunch time. Bathrooms downstairs, so can be a challenge with the kiddo in boots, but it’s manageable. Patio was nice too, likely an amazing spot in the off-season!“

I went with the Korean fried chicken sandwich and fries it was decent worth a try. My kids both went with cheeseburgers and fries both of them enjoyed their meals. The strawberry mango lemonade is delicious. When I'm back in the area I'll stop in and try a burger. It was a little pricey $111 for 1 adult and 2 kids but would comeback again.“

“Tried the Chef’s Special Trout and it was killer. Sweet pea puree, roasted fingerlings and wild mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly and the flavors were superb! Waiter was very knowledgeable of menu, and attentive to the timing of the meal. Atmosphere was great, with a prime view of the mountains reflected by a lake. My wife and I had a great time and would definitely recommend.“

“One of the coolest mid mountain lodges in all of Colorado. This place is always my go to stop to refuel and take a rest from hitting the slopes. Only negative is that there's technically no place indoors to warm up but you should be dressed warm enough so enjoy the great outdoors!“

I recently ordered the wedge salad with blue cheese on it. Normally, I’m not a huge blue cheese fan, but this salad was delicious!

I had the joy of ordering the duck last week and it was absolutely the best duck I’ve ever had.

For dessert, the bread pudding is the second best bread pudding I’ve ever had in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and visit Vinnys in Frisco Main Street.

Doug, my server was absolutely amazing and Jennifer the bartender makes the best gin, mules ever!! And Jennifer was really cool because she gave me samples of wine until I found the perfect glass.

Five out of five stars and a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. I will return to Vinnys very often.“

“Prices are reasonable for a mountain town and the food is delicious. We shared 1/2 order of Tavern Nachos and Standard Beef burger/ waffle fries. The tavern nachos were the star. Lots of pork and guacamole. The hamburger was cooked exactly as I ordered it, and the waffle fries put Chic Fil A to shame.“

“My husband and I have been great fans of The Dam since it opened. We lived in Summit County in 1995 and have always gone to The Dam for great beer and lovely people who worked there. Today, January 3, 2024, was yet another day to stop by The Dam (although we live in Buena Vista, CO since 2001), but always plan on coming up for what we enjoy. AND, one of the new people that works with The Dam is JEN. When we met her, it was perfect. She's very lovely to talk to, to laugh, listen to what's new on the menu, and we just enjoy her. Also, the people that have worked at The Dam since the beginning always were 'the best'. Whether making the beer (perfect every time), the food, or running departments..............we truly love it. We see that a lot of people have left (which is sad), but our visits to The Dam will continue. MANY thanks for the best place! Continue on.................and keep JEN in the perfect place for her!“
