“Soooo good! I crave this place weekly! I saw bad reviews about the beef hot pot but I thought it was delicious! The beef is supposed to be cooked prior and dipped in their house sauce. The house sauce is perfect for dipping and all the veggies and add ons in the hot pot were great. I can barely finish it every time because there’s so much so it’s two meals for me. Their Thai hot pot is also one of the my favs and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the owners are so sweet and accommodating. The staff is always on its feet giving the best service 😇😇 I had the Spicy Crab and Jalapeno rolls while my husband had Mushroom Chicken with steamed rice and each bite was simply wow ❤❤ Our full compliments to the chefs who were making the food in front of us with so much care and attention 🙏🙏 For dessert I had the Mochi ice cream (mango + chocolate) and my husband had the Tiramisu ice cream cake and once again it was beyond tasty 😇😇 Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 restaurant and try other items on its extensive menu ❤❤“

The French Onion Soup Dumplings, The Pot Stickers, Pork Belly Bao Buns and cocktails were fantastic, the Edamame Dumplings and General Cho’s Soup Dumplings were good as well. We didn’t care for the Wagyu Beef Skewers but that’s just a personal preference. All in all a terrific late lunch, and we will absolutely be back! The staff was terrific and welcoming.“

“Just found this gem of a place last week. Been there twice since the first time.… What I have tried has been on par with great Vietnamese joins I’m used to in Houston. Authentic, fresh and a great value. Combo noodle bowl is tasty and refreshing. Great grilled flavor on the meats. The Vietnamese egg rolls are a great app.- very tasty! Lunch special was good (I got the combo kung pow), but will stick to Chinese restaurants to order Chinese food, BUT will be getting pretty much all of my Vietnamese food from here from now on. Generous portion sizes (they don’t skimp on the meats) at a very reasonable price point. For me the icing on the cake was that they give great quality stuff for to-go orders (substantial to go containers, a quality cutlery set with high quality fork, knife and chopsticks). I’ve been in F&B for 25+ years and this is a tell tale sign that an establishment really cares. If in the Northgleen area, give them a try. (When i googled saigon basil, there a couple of places with the same name, the one I am speaking about is the one off of 104th and I-25.“

“My wife and I love Tekka. We've been going since they were known as Thai House. They know us by name at this point. The hostess and her husband are lovely people. It's got the bones of an Irish sports bar, but they serve Asian food. Inexpensive draft beer! Great establishment, definitely check it out!“

Parking is limited so prepare for a hunt. For me I can’t think of any reason to return other than the service provided by the ladies who waited on us. He suggested the right spice level for us and even hooked us up with a couple extras that made the meal perfect.
