Split the sweet potato pancakes. It was pancake with mashed sweet potato. The pancakes were well made fluffy and moist.
And had the grits with the “fried chicken”
Grits were flavorful, the fried chicken was fried oyster mushrooms and paired really well.
Highly recommend this place to vegans and vegetarians alike.“

“This very friendly and unassuming place seems to be very popular with both locals and tourists alike. The drawing factors are the friendly service and superb quality of their ice cream made by the owners from the best ingredients. There is a cozy space indoors and a couple of tables outside in an alley. We only had their great ice cream but they also specialize in sandwiches..Calypso is part of A H Rise Mall.. \nThe owners have a very friendly and welcoming approach to their patrons.\nI want to come back each time I am in Charlotte Amalie.!“

“I recently went to the Crown Cafe for breakfast sandwiches. I called in the order on the phone and everything was ready when I got there. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the buns were fresh. The prices were very reasonable as well. Hope to go back soon.“

Yes it’s small and yes at times there can be a wait . It’s well worth the experience i promise . I tired most of the things on this menu every single meal was delicious. Love it here .“
