“While visiting Bridgeport, Connecticut, I stumbled upon a small but impressive spot—Banderas Latin Fusion. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the owner, who also happens to be the chef.

The menu was full of tempting options, making it hard to choose just one. What stood out immediately was the care and precision the chef put into every dish. He prepared and plated each entrée meticulously, holding all three plates behind the counter until they were perfectly finished. Only then did he bring them to the table, showing clear pride in his craft.

The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful without being overwhelmed by too much sazón or adobo, which can sometimes be the case at other Puerto Rican spots. The balance of flavors was just right.

Brittany was our server, & she was awesome! I can't recall our busboy's name but he was great with bringing bread to our table, & refilling our water glasses as needed. I had the baby arugula salad special to start, & it was so tasty & the perfect beginning before having an old favorite of mine, linguine with white clam sauce. “Why here? We arrived a bit early for the ferry to Port Jefferson and decided that we could no longer ignore Boca while traveling through Bridgeport. Very happy with our decision and experience under the circumstances. Parking was easy and plentiful during a a late afternoon lunch period. The hostess was attentive and managed to locate the only shaded table left at the outdoor dining area. The facilities were well maintained. A beautiful sunny 80 degree summer afternoon complimented the ambience. Our server was friendly and gave her opinion on thejalapeno cole slaw. My blackened salmon BLT was delicious, and the side of cole slaw was a perfect side compliment. My wife had the cod tacos and enjoyed the dish. Our drinks, a Manhatten and Mojito were not watered down and were well balanced. The abutting Marina enhanced the seafood aroma and aesthetic. For the summer season, a wonderful and recommended choice. It will be our first choice should time allow during our travels.“

Walking along the wooden boardwalk feels like stepping into a postcard. The area is clean, well-maintained, and has that calming scent of the sea. It’s family-friendly, yet also perfect for a chill solo trip or even a romantic evening stroll. There are little souvenir shops, casual restaurants, and spots where you can just sit, breathe, and watch the boats.

I went around sunset and the lighting over the water was just magical. I highly recommend timing your visit during the golden hour—it completely transforms the place. If you’re into photography, you’ll love it here.

The only thing I found slightly disappointing was the price—some of the food and drinks felt a bit overpriced for what you get. But overall, the atmosphere and experience made up for it.

“We had been setting up our son's room at Sacred Heart and needed some food. I did a Google search and came upon this gem!! From the moment we walked in and Anisa seated us, we could tell, we made a good choice.
From bread to appetizers, to our Entree and dessert, everything was amazing! We can't wait until family weekend to make sure we return! We also told our son to make sure he comes off campus and enjoys again!

It's simply as small spot with a few tables where you can either stop in for a quick lunch or you can sit with a friend to have a meal while no one bothers you. It's never been busy when I've gone but don't let that fool you into thinking that it's not a good spot. The food is good. You can order from the ready made stuff on display or from the menu where all is cooked to order, which is what I usually do but not because the already made food isn't good, because I've had almost everything and have no complaints. I just usually want something like skirt steak which is so good. They're fast and good. I highly recommend if you haven't already realized that, lol. Btw, it's no longer called Ramirez. They go by a different name. It's now Esquina Latina which translates to Latin Corner.“

“Too hot and humid outside to do anything, so we took a road trip to Bass Pro shop to tastefully spend some money. We had never been to this location before and was pleasantly surprised to find a place for the kids to bowl and to have lunch after walking a few miles shopping. Great decor, and the kids loved bowling while we were waiting for our food to arrive. Very nice bar as well with dining area in the back. There are two rooms with arcade games, skee ball, and air hockey if bowling becomes worn out. Service was great, and food was leaning to higher end bar food. Ordered Western Burgers, chicken and Swiss sandwich, and fish taco.“
