“Literally single handedly the best Chinese American food experience in the entire state. The owner/staff are so friendly and hospitable, they are truly an asset to the community. Offering affordable and delicious, fresh, hot staples such as General Tso Chicken and Coconut shrimp (mine and my partners favorites) as well as crab Rangoon, dumplings, boneless spare ribs, etc. You will not leave disappointed, and your bellies will be full!“

“This is a primarily take out. Food is good, not the best I've ever had, but good, and definitely worth the $$. I am from out of town and have twice in a month. It's not first choice if dinning out, but for take out its in my top 5.“

“I've been going to Hong Kong Kitchen for years. They've been consistently good. The service is exceptional, especially delivery driver! Their prices are reasonable. The owners have changed but it's stayed within a family. Soups are good. I recommend the House Special Chow Mei Fun, Chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce,and the French fries.

“The food soothes the pallet, and the atmosphere is great! The Home made duck sauce was the best I've had, shumai was tender, and crab ragoons were the freshest. The shrimp fried rice and pineapple fried rice are very good. I always keep a look out for who has the best orange chicken, and this place has it. Everything is well kept and clean, as well as the bathrooms. The hostess is exceptionally accommodating.“

I highly recommend the spare ribs here. My child always says that the ribs from this restaurant are the best they’ve ever had, and I completely agree. The fried rice and noodles are also excellent—everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious.
What really made me happy was the service. The woman who takes orders remembered me, and when I made a mistake with my online order, she called to confirm the details. That personal touch truly meant a lot to me and made the experience even better.

And the smile I get when I get my food that's customer service. “The best Golden fingers compared to others, it tastes and looks like actual chicken! Egg rolls and fried rice also always fresh and flavorful!! Staff is always friendly and orders always ready on time! Not my fav style for the crab Rangoon or the boneless spare ribs, but also not bad. I just prefer my rangoons more cream cheesy, but these were still really good. Soft center crispy outside perfectly cooked and not too greasy! Had a yummy chive? Flavor!“

“I will never get Chinese food anywhere else! My family and I have tried every Chinese food place around North Haven. Most of them, the food is soggy, cold when we get it, not cooked right, etc. Until we found this place. It’s tucked away behind BAR pizza and we never even knew it was there! I ordered the spicy garlic chicken wing with veggie lo main also some fried dumplings and some of the spicy garlic boneless wings and everything was amazing!!!! “We order take out from these guys at least 2x a month and we love the food. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food. It cannot be oily or have a strange aftertaste. We have tried many restaurants and if it is not Up to Par the first time, the number is deleted and we move on. This location is a keeper. “This restaurant is a gem. Never in a million years would you think a strip mall restaurant in Wallingford `prepares food this fantastic. We found it via google and have been back several times- I can’t speak to everything on the menu, but all the dishes we’ve ordered were delicious- portions are generous and staff very professional. “I like it for a Chinese restaurant. The reason why I give it only 4 stars is it is in my opinion what every Chinese restaurant should do. With that being said I will reiterate that I do like their fried chicken and never had a complaint with the food itself. Delivery is a different story but even then it's not horrible.“

“I looked up Chinese restaurants. This was the closest to me and their prices were lower. I was very worried I was looking for trouble by going for the less expensive. Not even close. The food was excellent. The employees were very friendly. Parking is horrific. Location seems to be a scary part of town. That said, there were so many people in the restaurant as well as standing outside, who apparently live in the area. It looks to me the locals all love this place. And, for good reason.
