“Literally single handedly the best Chinese American food experience in the entire state. The owner/staff are so friendly and hospitable, they are truly an asset to the community. Offering affordable and delicious, fresh, hot staples such as General Tso Chicken and Coconut shrimp (mine and my partners favorites) as well as crab Rangoon, dumplings, boneless spare ribs, etc. You will not leave disappointed, and your bellies will be full!“

“This has become our family staple in Local Waterbury for GREAT Chinese Food and Sushi. The staff is extremely friendly and very cordial. Food is very tasty and prepared with love! “It's the best chinese takeout spot in Southington! We usually get delivery and they're always so nice and pack everything so well. When we get takeout there's plenty of parking and they are working so quickly and efficiently.
Some of our favorites: egg rolls, chicken teryaki sticks, chicken moo shoo pancakes, roast pork lo mein and sweet and sour chicken.
Their only con is the cash only payments but they remind you so you're never in a tough spot. It's probably helping their affordability so no complaints here!“

“CASH ONLY‼️ So no one wastes their time with a card! I do not eat Chinese food often. So when I do, I am very picky. I read their reviews like a book before ordering. I was not disappointed. The rice was not hard like so many places are, the eggroll was perfect, and I really liked the rib tips. The chicken wings didn't have a lot of flavor but it was no biggie, I used hot sauce. I would definitely try again and do recommend.

“We saw the business as closed, oh no…. so we used the phone from an old menu. Tada…. They were in fact open. We ordered spare ribs, I had pepper steak, extra extra, extra hot, and a few other things today July 26, 2024. “I will never get Chinese food anywhere else! My family and I have tried every Chinese food place around North Haven. Most of them, the food is soggy, cold when we get it, not cooked right, etc. Until we found this place. It’s tucked away behind BAR pizza and we never even knew it was there! Our order everytime is chicken and broccoli spicy, general tso’s chicken not spicy, and crab rangoons. everytime the food is fresh and flavorful, everyone there is so nice and the place is beyond clean. “Hing Wong is a small Chinese takeout spot located right off Route 8 on Huntington Ave in Waterbury. Conveniently located across from Cumberland Farms, Hing Wong offers your classic varieties of American/New York-style Chinese Food.

Similar to those classic hole-in-the wall places seen all over NYC, Hing Wong does not look like much on the outside, but that's okay because the food is excellent! All menu items are prepared fresh and are served in large portions at relatively cheap prices. Definitely check out their lunch specials where you can get a whole meal for under $10. My personal favorites are General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Boneless Ribs, and Hunan Beef.

Even if you are loyal to your current Chinese restaurant, definitely check this one out and work it into your rotation. Hing Wong is open 6 days a week and is available for dine-in(very small space), takeout, and delivery“

“First I want to apologize In my several years of writing Google reviews I never skipped photos of the food but the food here was so amazingly good I just ate four servings of orange chicken! When I finally stopped I realized I ate everything before I took any pictures! Lol. I'm born and raised in Chicago and ate some of the most authentic and tasty Chinese food outside of China in our designated "China town" I have been up until now bitterly disappointed in all the Chinese restaurants in the entire state of Connecticut. The broccoli was tender and crisp and deliciously fresh. The orange chicken had REAL pieces of orange peel. Oh so slightly spicy but I don't eat anything spicy so most people would not have any issues with the spice level. It was simply PERFECT. The Crab Rangoon was the best I ever had and I have eaten in China town of both Chicago and San Francisco! This is the Only place I would even consider eating Chinese food in the entire state of Connecticut. I feed 3 hungry adults for $45 including tax and have some leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow.“

“Don’t know why people are leaving reviews like it’s poison food ? it’s salty and slightly greasy which is what I expect from a Chinese food place. Only thing I didn’t like was the egg drop soup it was pretty bland. Did no contact delivery and driver didn’t knock or ring bell or anything so my food sat out there for awhile in the sun before I even knew they had come (at least 15 mins) so that sucks for a 20% tip“

“I like it for a Chinese restaurant. The reason why I give it only 4 stars is it is in my opinion what every Chinese restaurant should do. With that being said I will reiterate that I do like their fried chicken and never had a complaint with the food itself. Delivery is a different story but even then it's not horrible.“
