“This was my first time visiting NW Soup & Sandwich Co. I was greeting by super friendly staff and an adorable little girl behind the counter. I ordered the chicken cutlet BLT on a hard roll with chips and was a little taken aback by the $16 price tag. But MAN was it worth it! I haven’t had a sandwich this good in a really long time, like bacon crisped to perfection, the chicken juicy and crispy, the perfect amount of toast on the hard roll…just YUM. Will definitely be back!”

It is the best food I've had in Winsted or the surrounding area, by far. They were very accomodating to my dog. Service was fast. They have you start a tab and slide your card from the get and you just close out when you're done. It was a really excellent experience.”

“Our entire family, six adults and two children, enjoyed a fabulous lunch here last Saturday. The food was absolutely delicious! We decided to go big and had the ribs, both types of sausage, pulled pork, brisket, pulled chicken, chicken leg and thigh, collard greens, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, cornbread and more. We ate our fill and had enough left overs for four adults to enjoy lunch and dinner on Sunday! The meats were perfectly smoked and the sides were incredible. If you're ever out that way, be sure to stop by Zach and Lou's for a delicious meal!

Wheelchair accessibility: I use a wheelchair and it was actually quite easy to enter the restaurant.”

“Delectable cuisine executed expertly! Although, I have eaten Crab Rangoon countless times, having it here was like tasting it for the 1st time. They were folded into a triangle to give you more filling! Also, my husband has probably eaten fried dumplings at every Chinese Restaurant we have ever been to & declared these to be the best, without dispute. I ordered spice Szechuan Beef and was kind of having a transcendent experience with it all. Chinese food beyond measure!!! Also, an oasis tucked into a remote area with reasonable prices. Tip generously, and compliments to the chef! ? You can tell they make their own dough here! A must-try!”

“Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. We got the hungry friends special with a waffle and scrambled eggs, and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Both were delectable! Waffle was super light and airy. Home fries nice and crispy. We would highly recommend eating here. We will definitely be back!”

“We went here to cool off and to have a light meal.
The service was great and our food was really good, but unfortunately the A/C couldn’t keep up with the temperature and humidity of the day.
I had an Italian Combination grinder. I also ordered French fries and they were some of the best fries I ever had anywhere. The prices were reasonable.
We eventually got used to the temperature, but certainly wish it was cooler inside the dining area. In their defense, it was a very hot and humid/tropical day…”
