“Everything is so good ! The burgers are huge and you’re gunna wanna push through just to finish one cause they are so damn tasty. The fries are alway hot and crispy. Good stuff”
“One of the best burgers i have had in years. Absolutely recommended. Eclairs are huge and tasty, rolls are freshly baked. French fries were made from real fresh cut deep fried potato, which is extremely rare these days. serving local soda instead the usual boring stuff.Friendly atmosphere and awesome people running the place! The restaurant is homelike, a lot of art and small pieces that make it feel like you are at home.Overall, this is the place to dine-in or take out, much better than any other places I have been in the area, also the value is really good. I read that place overpriced? I disagree completely, you get much more for what you pay.10/10!”
“Went to the Old Inn on the Green for a Birthday dinner and it was exquisite. Quite simply one of the most amazing meals my husband and I have ever enjoyed. The food is truly, truly special. Lovely candlelit atmosphere, attentive service. Treat yourself. You will not regret it.”
“Alway unique food and drink , delicious doesn’t even begin to describe it. The cozy, homey atmosphere and excellent entertainment make this a perfect spot any night!”
“Some of the best food I've eaten since leaving NYC. The veal was delicious, the marinara sauce, Perfect! Blue cheese dressing on the salad -Deliziosa. Italian bread warmed perfectly, butter softened, NOT hard as a brick(that's always annoyed me!!). Subdued lighting, and a very nice atmosphere. Service was top notch. My only gripe is this... We sat(4 of us) at a table surrounded by 2, maybe 3 Large parties of 6+ people, and it was difficult to hear our own conversation... Didn't matter while we were eating...we were much too busy enjoying the food. Excellent work Mario's chef's, and staff. EXCELLENT WORK! This restaurant will be added to our regular, and favorite places for Italian food. They also have steaks, and burgers too. .....Till next time.Parking: Unless you are fortunate, be prepared for a bit of a walk. There is parking on the street in front of the restaurant, across the street from the restaurant, and surrounding area. It's not a difficult walk, and WORTH it!”
“Wonderful people who've built a great sense of community, but most of all, who brew consistently extraordinarily terrific beer. Stouts, Belgian ales, lagers, Kolsches, IPAs, DIPAs, sours, hard seltzers, and more. Honestly, I've *never* had a bad glass of beer at Brewery Legitimus.”
“We had our clubs annual banquet at Noujaim’s last weekend. The food was amazing, staff was friendly and professional, and Chef George was a very gracious host! Would highly recommend for a night out or an event.”
“Honestly, the best bbq my husband and I have ever eaten. I got the kielbasa and corn bread and he got a full rack of the St. Louis ribs. We got some coleslaw and collard greens to go afterwards. The taste is perfection. A little smoky but not over powering. The cornbread is so soft and moist and with a little butter just makes it that much better. The ribs were so tender and juicy with excellent flavors. We will be coming back here again soon!I highly recommend trying this place. They have outdoor seating as well. Staff was real nice and got the food out to us fast!!”
“Grabbed some TakeOut and am glad I did. The Hot Dogs and All American Burger hit the spot, and the fries reminded me of Concetto’s.When I grew up here on Meadow St, Concetto’s was down the street, but, to the left. LRB is down the street to the right.Great quality. I’m four houses away, and I’ll definitely be back for some food.”
“Revised review, food isn't as good, prices went way up . Our $13 breakfast is now almost $30 and it's not as good. Wait staff is excellent but we don't go anymore, partly for cost, partly for quality of ”
“Our favorite cozy breakfast/lunch spot. It's a typical diner with friendly staff and some classic favorites. When we go on trips we always try to make a point to come through here on our way home. (Truthfully it's also a great hangover fix) If you're on the search for a small town diner with small town charm, this is the place for you!”
“I’m hesitant to say how much I adore this place, the staff and, of course, the food. The reason for my reluctance is fear it will become a hot spot, thus ruining the best kept Berkshire secret. Relocation to the Berks when Covid hit in 2020, led me to Southfield when I googled restaurants in the area. I put it on my “must go” list. From the moment I entered, I knew it would be a favorite. Fantastic sandwiches such as The Favorite which is composed of tomato, mozzarella and basil panini actually became my favorite; until I ordered a BLT. Making my way through the menu, (not in the same day!!!) a Reuben called me by name. Delicious. Hit the spot. I could not finish the sandwich. Every item is fresh fresh fresh! Tuna melt? Oh yes! Fantastic. Again, could not finish it. Egg salad is divine. Abby prepared it right there. Every sandwich is above any preconceived expectation, whether or not you see yourself a food snob. (I’m definitely one)!! The in house bakery, which also bakes for the In on the Green, turns out the very best. I’ve had great Linzer cookies in my life. Theirs are rivaled by no one, even Paris! Blueberry muffins, Grandma’s chocolate cake will have you looking for her in the kitchen. Brunch should be experienced by anyone who enjoys a relaxing weekend with family and a fantastic breakfast. French toast is noteworthy as they use house made challah. Try it. Eggs, bacon, sausage, all the breakfast items we love are prepared to perfection. Muffins, scones, cinnamon buns, pound cakes, all baked in the kitchen. The list of everything I’ve tried and loved is too lengthy for me to explain how wonderful everything is. You must try them yourself. Now the staff. Wonderful group who are happy and welcoming. They know their jobs and remain personable even on the busy, oh so popular weekends. Hard working, yet they manage to keep the restaurant clean. Alex who manages Southfield is very attentive and knows his job well. This is one well oiled machine. I think it’s rare when employees highly respect their employers and the employer highly respects them. It’s a obvious this is the case at Southfield. They enjoy going to work! Alex is the son of the owners of Inn on the Green up the road, which is another must go! Sadly, I had to vacate the Berkshires. I am presently an hour and forty minutes away yet I make a point to go back frequently. Yes. It’s THAT good! PS: kid friendly!”
“Stopped in for a quick burger saw a couple people I know didn't want to put ketchup on them because then you can't taste the burger had some sweet potato flies! Missed Tom.”
“Recently had dinner with friends and family. We had made a reservation so We were seated right away. Waters and hot bread were brought immediately to Our table while we waited for our cocktails. I had a dirty martini that was chilled to perfection, baked stuffed shrimp. Friends had the sole and cod both were delicious. All in all we enjoyed purr night out and highly recommend dining here.”
“Consistent! The food is always good and prepared the same way. I love the Kentucky Dry Rub wings. My fiancé loves the meatloaf! Obviously I still feel the same as last time. LOL”
“Me and my mom always used to go here every wednesday, we became well known with the owner (pete) and one of their now former workers, they raised their prices so we had to cut back and stop eating here but it is an amazing place with delicious pizza and I recommend!!”
“The entire staff at Monaco's model impeccable dining service. From start to finish it is a delight to dine in this fine establishment. Our experience last night was once again a perfect 10. Thank you Monaco's!”

“We visited Jerram Winery for a wine tasting with a group of friends and family on 11/4. Thank you for accommodating our group. From thehospitality from all the staff, the wine tasting and letting us bring food in to enjoy was perfect! We had such a great time. Thank you Mike and your parents. Will be visiting again. Thanks Donna”

“If you're over 6'1" ish, watch your head as you walk in... low entry in the door.Cute place. Decent size dance floor.Tuesdays are Country Line Dancing lessons.Thursdays are Salsa lessons.”
“It's called the Rusty General Store (next to the Rusty Nail Bar and Grill), but the store part seems to be more ceremonial. There were some token non-perishable groceries, but the main attraction is definitely the sandwiches. The store is on the site of the Burr's Mill, and a few yards from the Sue Grossman Still River Greenway. There even appears to be parking for the Greenway across the street. I had a BEC breakfast sandwich, and it was hot and eggy. The egg was perfectly proportioned to the roll, and would definitely go back for more or to try a lunch sandwich. They do have daily specials - the day I was there they were pushing a buffalo mac and cheese available on a sandwich or as a stand alone dish. The women at the deli were even kind enough to send my dog a piece of cheese when they noticed him being walked in the parking lot (an especially kind gesture because I did not plan to share my breakfast sandwich). They also have an ice cream station that serves local Peaches N Cream ice cream (although not particularly hopping in November). There is indoor and outdoor seating, and parking seems sufficient for the two businesses.”
“Stopped by for brunch on a weekday on a whim. The place was quiet but we were greeted right away by a friendly waitress. She said we can sit anywhere and brought us over crayons, paper, and paper bags for our toddler to play with.I ordered coffee and eggs benedict; the eggs benedict was good, saucy, and came with home fries. I was feeling extra hungry so I also had Belgian waffles on the side (these were HUGE). The service was great; the waitress was attentive and always checking up on us. The food came out fast and delicious. Overall, a great dining experience and will be back!Kid-friendliness: Provided crayons and paper to play with”
“I have been going here since they opened. Always had wonderful food as well as great service. The owners really care about giving you a good food. I really enjoy everything about China Delight.”
“Just moved to Winsted from New Haven, and lived in NYC for a time. Needed to find a good pizzeria without the boujee extras. The locals recommended Kent.Coming from New Haven I can say the pizza was superb. Ample toppings, right amount of sauce and ingredients tasted fresh. Pizza was nicely crisped throughout and gluten free dough was light and thin. Nicely melted mozzarella cheese. Not greasy. The gluten free pizza was fantastic; I’m sure the classic pizza is also. Takeout served hot and fresh from the oven. Great prices as well. My new go-to spot.”
“Great little Pho shop with a wide array of options. Stopped by here on my way to BDL airport and the hostess was very kind. Food is spot on and the atmosphere is very hip, definitely will be back, thanks for helping this weary traveler!”
“Our family of 6 stopped in 4 late breaky, the place is clean, the folks were very welcoming. The waitress was happy & patient w/all of us deciding. The stuffed waffles are Amazing. I had cheese omelet & my plate was full. Wonderful place & they kept my coffee filled.????????????Parking: No worries 4 parking”
“We stopped by Norbrook farm brewery while passing through the area and were happy we did! We ordered the Dennis Hill Estate Saision with notes of orange and coriander. We also got the maple based ale, Goulets Grade A Ale. While very tasty, it was a little sweeter than we were used to for a beer. The space is beautiful and a farm house vibe with lovely views and ample outside seating. Worth the stop for sure!”
