“Everything was great! My wife and I brought our two kids (14 & 11) there yesterday evening and everyone enjoyed themselves. The oysters, shrimp, and clam chowder couldn’t have been more fresh. Kids enjoyed their lobsters and our steaks were cooked perfectly. Our youngest thought our server Adam looked like Tom Brady lol. All around perfect- thank you!“

“I’ve been a regular here since Day 1 and I can’t believe I didn’t post a review until NOW!! What can I say, it’s the best seafood in West Haven HANDS DOWN! The oysters are fresh, the lobster rolls are the best, and the mussels for 2 is so flavorful. The staff are like family and welcome you with open arms. For drinks, I recommend the manhattans, old fashioned, espresso martinis and dirty martini with the blue cheese stuffed olives (YUM!). Their Moby’s lager is delicious and there’s a great selection of tequila. The bartenders are the best around! My favorite dishes are the lobster Mac, Lobster Rolls, Tuna Sushimi Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and tuna tartare. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with your dining experience! Nick and the crew will take good care of you. I’m a customer for life ❤️“

“This Red Lobster is high quality food preparation and service. It's a casual but a bit more contemporary and fresh than the other locations..it might be newer..I'm not sure but it's a favorite. The consistency is there as I have a high confidence level and feel like when I pay a lot it's for something very good. I had the lobster dip for the first time...it was Christmas I was fat from home and working so I very much appreciate that they were open and still top not h. “I've been stopping at the Sandbar for a couple years now, My usual Go to items are whole belly clam rolls or dinner and a Scallop roll or dinner The seafood is always cooked to order, Battered and deep fried and is always delicious While the restaurant might not seem spectacular to some, its a nice place to pop into if you like battered seafood not overcooked but just perfectly cooked its easy to miss leaving elm st if you get on the Kimberly Ave Bridge into New Haven you went past, coming from New Haven cross the bridge and its right at the foot of the bridge on the right side“

“I have been ordering takeouts at Il Forno for the past seven. I started with bacon and onions pizza which was great. I then changed to eggplant pizza and it has to be the best I have ever had. Now I have moved on to shrimp marinara with linguine and I can't tell you how great this dish is. The shrimp are so large and fresh and the sauce is excellent. The filet of sole must weigh at least 2 pounds and my husband gets it every week. The filet is enough for two meals and so is the shrimp. Thank you Il Forno for making our Friday takeout a special treat.“

“Easily, my favorite diner. I can’t get enough of the chicken souvlaki meal: $17 for a Greek salad, French fries, a giant hunk of feta cheese, a toasted pita and 3-4 fantastically cooked and seasoned chicken breasts? YES, PLEASE. I order it when we go here for BREAKFAST. Lol. I recently had it delivered through uber eats but we also love their breakfast and they have outstanding burgers too! Definitely kicks the elm and duchess’ butts. Oh yeah, and since I had to meet a quota on uber eats to get the discount, I got an order of their rice pudding which may be the best rice pudding I’ve ever had. Super sweet and creamy. No lie, I’m probably going there today before I go hang out with my dad. 😀“

For example, a party of 3 or 5 seemed to be treated more attentively than the parties of 1 or 2. I don't mean to come off as high maintenance or superior, but when I'm paying the prices they charge I expect high quality service. I will be back because the food was so good, but I hope the service improves.“

“I literally can’t believe how incredible the food was. This is what casual Chinese used to taste like back in the day. It was as if I was a child tasting boneless spare ribs and crab rangoon for the very first time.. The spare ribs were charred and tender and the rangoon was made with actual crab as opposed to the typical “crab flavored” cream cheese. The pork fried rice was also remarkably flavorful with large cubes of pork and perfectly cooked onion. Those who have complained about the food specifically must be miserable Karens. This is my new favorite casual Chinese spot. 10/10“
