“Every year our family rents a house on the beach and we travel towards the Niantic area to eat. The one place we consistently visit is East Coast Taco for a quick bite.
The pork belly tacos and fish tacos are absolutely fantastic. Try them!“

“My wife and I went here for one of the stops on our honeymoon. The golf cart ride from the remote parking lot was relaxing. We had a water front seat It was absolutely breathtaking. The food was amazing the waiter was friendly and took time to answer any questions we had. We will be back one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve been to.“

“The spice palette is very welcoming, great customer service, staff patient with menu questions and suggestions. Our dinner was selected from the vegetarian/vegan menu and did not disappoint. Portion size is perfect as we like options. Also great for sharing. Our selections easily fed 4. half of our dinner was taken home as it was too delicious to leave behind. We say the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in new London .“

Herb's Country Deli Restaurant is an Amazingly Dope spot that has instantly become a top contender of Top 3 Best Breakfast Spots in the Southeastern CT area! At the same time they have also earned a 'Big Al's 💎 Gem Review'. I walked into a very warm and inviting welcome from the Owner's daughter named Ellen. She was so sweet and even introduced me to her father, Herb's who recently turned 95yrs old about a week ago. I was welcomed by the whole staff and I had such a wonderful server named Dawn! She is truly the Best!! Thank you Dawn! ❤️ I can keep going on and on about how great this spot is so.... Let me continue. The atmosphere is perfect. You get an instant nostalgia experience dining in an amazing family owned restaurant a few tables over from the wonderful man named HERB who started it, now retired, enjoying breakfast with a couple of his family members ❤️ I seriously could not stop smiling the whole time I was there.😁 That was truly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had on my journey thus far. ❤️ Let's move onto the food, I ordered and reviewed a few things: 1. 2 slices of Blue Banana Bread & The Elvis- Banana, Chocolate & Peanut butter (comped to try) 💣 2. “WOW. erin at ben & jerry’s absolutely crushed it. we gave her full creative freedom to whip up a sweet & salty milkshake and she seriously delivered — it was hands down one of the best milkshakes we’ve ever had. not only is she incredibly talented, but she was also so kind and patient while our whole group took forever deciding (and it was right before closing!). never once did we feel rushed. she made us feel welcome, taken care of, and left us with the most delicious treat to top off the night. 10/10 — erin, you’re amazing!“

“We frequent this spot during the summer months and the ice cream is good. Was disappointed last evening though as staff seemed in a hurry and a bit rude. One thing that should be address is the massive spider and bugs above where you stand to wait for your order . A good power wash would be good!! Love the ice cream though“

“I went here with my family and let me tell you, it is the definition of FEEL GOOD PLACE! It is a cozy little cafe with 80’s or maybe earlier, handheld games spread throughout the cafe. While we waited we enjoyed playing many games I hadn’t played in years! While we were just chit chatting, all the sudden marshmallow come flying at us! My daughter thought it was so cool, we looked over to see one of the ladies shooting them from behind the counter. She came over a little while later to squirt ketchup and mustard at us, it was a prank but very funny! It was really just a string. To top it off, she brings a small claw machine so my daughter could play it and win some prizes. We found out that they feed squirrels that come up to the window, so we inquired and one of the women tried to get the squirrel to come so we could see it. Unfortunately it did not happen but honestly, just left feeling like my soul was warmed. The food was amazing! The coffee was hot and all the women working there were truly a delight! I wish I lived closer, I’d definitely become a regular. Best part- aside from taking some photos for memories, no one was on their phone. Just really enjoying the cafe and experience.“

“Love Ballo but really disappointed with how much the menu keeps changing. They charge now for house bread and took off the garlic bread. Got rid of shrimp scampi. Now got rid of chicken francaise which was Amazing there and our go to. Also used to have an amazing cheese and meat platter appetizer and that was removed. Wish some of those would be put back on. With so much change there really isn’t anything appealing to me now. This was our spot for anniversaries, birthdays, and lots of date nights.“

“We stopped in for a late breakfast at Bobby’s Burger Palace, owned by Bobby Flay, at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. It was very good. At first sight my burrito didn’t look like much laying dry on the plate, but when I opened it up I could see it was full of nice ingredients. It tasted great! And my hubs got the steel cut part and loved them. They had a little sweetness to them and just the right amount of cinnamon, cranberry and yogurt. I tasted it and really like it too. We would definitely go back here again. I also love Illy coffee so bonus! :)“

“Awesome place. We were in town for a USCGA event and stumbled upon this excellent, fun place.
The food was amazing, our waitress, Aria, was fantastic, and the two IPAs I tried were great.
I am kinda unique amongst IPA guys in that I despise hazies, so I was thrilled to find two nice and happy westies.
The one thing I found a bit puzzling was there were no TVs.
We will be up in the area quite a bit, and I am looking for a place to watch the NFL!“
“This was an anniversary dinner. Several staff members wish us a happy anniversary. We have dine in this restaurant before, the make over and name change. The new renovations improve the ambiance. The food was excellent as was the service. Or waiter Jeff was excellent and made our anniversary special.“

“I couldn't wait to eat the salad before I took the picture. Their salad dressing is addictive. The cauliflower usually comes with buffalo, but I prefer their tahini. The chicken schwarma platter is so big that we end up sharing it. They also have plenty of vegan options that are spectacular. They make the best falafel that I have ever tasted!“
