“A group of 4 of us visited for lunch on Saturday, May 4. We decided to celebrate Cinco de Mayo before the crowds. It was very quiet. We each ordered something different and everyone was happy with their choice. The reason why I rated the service so low is that the server rested a plate on the edge of the table near me and it looked like he was about to drop it, so I reached for it. He failed to inform me that the plate was HOT! It was straight from the oven and I got burned on two fingers. I spent the entire meal holding a glass of ice water with my right hand and attempting to eat with my left hand. I would go back because the food was good, but will also be aware of how hot the plates are. Also, when my water glass was empty, he took it away to refill. I am not thrilled when servers do that.“

“Have gone twice now and both times have been awesome! First time I tried the steak burrito and second time the carnitas rice bowl. Both had great flavor. The restaurant is like Moe's or Chipotle but has way more options and toppings to choose from. Definitely recommend!“

“I’ve been here a few times, and it is really excellent. They have a larger menu than your typical CT family-style Mexican restaurant, and the food is more authentic. It’s very fresh and delicious and they have breakfast all day, including chilaquiles and breakfast burritos!! Also love the home-made hot sauce.The service is great and the people there are very friendly. I highly recommend eating here. They are waiting for their liquor license so it’s BYOB for now, but their non-alcoholic drinks like horchata and tamarind agua fresca are delicious. Definitely worth trying.“

“The food here is amazing! I got the strawberry cream french toast and it was delicious! The fruit was fresh and the cream was so sweet. No need for additional syrup. Their fried home fries are so good as well! Price is really good for the food quality and portions!“

“Haven't been back in 2 yrs. No worries it was excellent then and with updated menu, excellent today. We ordered quesadilla appetizers. First order of quesadilla was burned on top and was delivered by whom I think was the boss. As she delivered it she said it was not cooked as it should and asked if she could make another. Absolutely, never in my 70 + yrs has someone been gracious as a host to know what to do. We had the Huasteca sampler. To us when not sure, go for the sampler you won't be disappointed. Wait and service staff very attentive. Beers, cold.We will be back.“

“I have now made three trips to this wonderful restaurant and found this place thru my kid. Great true Mexican food, great menu, very very clean restaurant and superb help to cook you their wonderful meals. So base in my opinion a true Mexivan reataurant and I base that in my many visits to California trying Mexican food!!! So please try it.“

“We visited this weekend and we thought it was pretty great!! The menu is huge and it actually has a lot of American dishes available which surprised us. The outdoor patio is covered and a nice added bonus, the inside looks very colorful and spacious but we ate outside. Just like most Mexican restaurants they give you complementary chips and salsa- I’m picky about my salsa and theirs passed with flying colors. Very traditional, refreshing and delicious. We also ordered queso, it was a very thick heavy queso, similar to Frontera’s if you’ve ever had it. You get a decent portion, with only two of us eating we took about half home to enjoy later. My boyfriend had the fajitas which he said were great, and I ordered the shrimp tacos. My tacos were very good, but they had the same peppers and onions filling that came with the fajitas, so to me they felt more like shrimp fajitas, however still delicious, would order again. They didn’t have a drink menu printed yet but I’m always looking for great margaritas and this place does it right. Their house margarita is authentic, not sweet at all, with a good kick. I also tried a flavored one, it was a little sweet for me so I’d stick with the house next time or ask for a little less flavor. We are excited to get back and try some different things soon.“

“All around amazing place for lunch or dinner! Good deals through their app and on their social media pages. I normally get a #9 with their straight habenero sauce and it's quickly becoming my favorite lunch spot when I'm in town! First time I went there the staff helped me find what I'd like and were super friendly. Now everytime I come in they already know what I'm going to order. Amazing!
