So far as this is, we’ve had the shrimp scampi lobster risotto crabcake as well as the beef Wellington overall review four out of five stars starting out with the

shrimp scampi good flavors great sauce, Lil underseasoned but perfectly cooked

Lobster risotto, light, fluffy, airy, perfectly cooked risotto, and lobster. That was so soft. It had to be poached when it was cooked how tender it was overall flavor very subtle again.

Crabcake good amount of crab not much filler great overall crabcake could have used a little bit more sauce again very well cooked

Moving onto the last, the beef Wellington
I have never had beef Wellington before, but I can tell you the experience when trying this my first bite was amazing perfectly cooked medium rare center. Good amount of flavor nice crispy crust.

We also had the pudding as well, probably the best item on the entire menu by far

Overall, I rate this at a four out of five on a scale very small portions highly priced cooked perfectly underseasoned I would be returning, but it would be a very long time before I do 4/5“

“My husband and I visited S & P Oyster Co. on our honeymoon, and it truly could not have been a more exquisite experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for a special occasion. We started with fresh oysters on the half shell, pan-seared octopus, and pan-seared scallops, each dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely outstanding. For our entrées, we enjoyed the sesame-encrusted yellowfin tuna and the homemade squid ink pasta, both of which were exceptional in flavor and quality. Our waiter, Jeff, made the night even more memorable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, offering wonderful recommendations and never rushing us. The drinks were fantastic as well and complemented the meal perfectly. S & P Oyster Co. gave us a honeymoon dinner we will never forget. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return. “Great lunch! The price point is spot on for the quantity & especially quality of the fish. The local catch of the day for the fish & chips was Red Drum. Excellently seasoned batter & tasty flakey fillets. The fries were just the right amount of crispy & the salt & vinegar onion rings were def ride or die! Possibly the only fish & chip experience I’ve had that there was no need for any condiments. Well done to Peter & his amazing team. “We stopped at Haring’s on our way to Boston and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is right by the waterfront, and the view is beautiful. The lobster bisque was delicious, and the lobster roll was especially good — packed with plenty of lobster. A very nice spot with great food and a lovely setting.“

My pops and I stopped first at Stonington Point, the American flag waving strong over the water. He looked at it and said, “I did my 20.” That line hit deep. From there, we made our way to Breakwater, a beautiful spot right on the harbor. The second we stepped inside, we were greeted by that warm coastal glow thru bright windows, with beautiful waterfront views, and a calm, classy energy. 💣 And then came one of those full-circle moments life throws at you sometimes… Our server was Trina, someone I worked with almost 30 years ago at Mohegan Sun Casino. Seeing her again made the day even more special. She was absolutely wonderful, kind, quick, and professional. It was everything you could expect. Service was top-notch. 💣 Now let’s talk about that food 👇🏾 1️⃣ Crispy Fried Calamari- $17.50 💣 Light, crispy, and perfectly fried. The cherry peppers gave it just the right kick, and that Thai Chili sauce was straight fire. Pops and I tore it down in minutes 🤷🏾‍♂️😀 both calling it a bomb. 2️⃣ Fish & Chips- $24.50 💣 Fried Atlantic Cod - Done golden and perfect. My fries were crispy and seasoned just right; My Pops went with sweet potato fries. Delicious Coleslaw, and with cocktail sauce every bite of fish hit. Comfort food at its best. We both said bomb 3️⃣ Seafood Pasta- $34.50 💣 This one was loaded: four big scallops, three shrimp, crab meat and two thick lobster pieces all swimming in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce with a little sweetness from the julienne veggies. Every bite was rich, buttery, and flavorful. This s**t was incredible - bomb all the way. Everything we ordered hit. No misses, no maybes. Breakwater delivered from start to finish Son! “The Shipwright's Daughter came highly recommended to us by locals we had talked with while vacationing in Mystic, and it did not disappoint. We booked a reservation for 7:15pm on a Saturday evening, and we were seated promptly at 7:15. From the hosts initial greeting, to our server first introducing herself at the table, every staff member made us feel welcomed. It was lovely. The cocktail my girlfriend ordered and the local draft I ordered were both outstanding. Our appetizers of Oysters on the Half Shell and a Yellowfin Tar Tar served on a Potato Pavé, were both so delicious, full of flavor, and beautiful. Our entrees consisted of the Zucchini Bucatini and the Duck Confit special, and both came out perfect. The seasoning, the cook of the duck, the plating were all immaculate. It's very clear the staff takes pride in their work, and make sure the guests have an outstanding experience. We finished with dessert, a Plum Sorbet Pavlova with a Peach Reduction, an Espresso Martini, and an Irish Coffee. We were finished with our meal and drinks and on our way by 8:20pm. All in all, it was the best experience I've had in a restaurant. The meals were phenomenal, the staff was top tier ( I apologize I can not remember our waitresses name, but she was outstanding), and the overall experience was more than I could have hoped for. If you are traveling to the mystic area, and you want to have an outstanding dining experience, this is the place for it“

“Rode my Harley from Hartford down to Mystic today to have lunch at Oyster Club. I was amazed at how good the oysters were. Absolutely delicious. I ordered the roast beef sandwich off the lunch menu. It was just as delicious. They even have a tree house with seating for dining. If I could give six stars, I would. I will definitely be back. If you are thinking about going there, then go. There is only outdoor seating so this spot recently reopened on April 25th for the Season. This afternoon my Brother AP, his children & I dropped into Sea Swirl to find out if they are serving up Good Lobster Rolls and I also had to try out one of their new "Lobster Cones". I ordered and reviewed: 1. Lobster Bisque Cone $13.99 💣 2. Hot Lobster Roll $28.99 👍🏾 I started with the Lobster Bisque Cone and enjoyed every delicious spoonful! The Lobster Cone is similar to a bread bowl with Lobster Bisque but the cone tastes like a croissant. So good! I gave it a Thumbs up but in hindsight it really deserved a bomb 💣 because it was Top Notch! Next I dove into the Lobster roll. First off, the price of the Lobster Roll is lower than most spots and it was absolutely delicious! “One of the best options for a fast n’ healthy dinner, if ya don’t want to cook :) The salads are made fresh (tabouleh is the best!) daily, and I like their chicken club wrap with extra mayo. I get the grilled chicken, and they are a little on the dryer side, but it’s balanced by the lettuce, bacon, mayo, and (I add) the tabouleh salad 😉 The stuffed grape leaves are very tasty. Once the grape leaves and the fattoush weren’t fresh (that was last year). I mentioned it to them, and the food has remained consistently fresh since. My office also gets catered platters and salads from Gansett Wraps, and they are very generous, fresh, and very tasty. Wraps are awesome to take home instead of the regular grocery store bread, and you get a lot for the cost. It’s a local best bet!“

I've gone there a few times now for breakfast and burgers and both were very, very, good, but their Mexican cuisine--as one might imagine--is the highlight of a very strong menu, and their burrito is the best I've ever had. “My wife and I have been there 2 times in October/November 2024 for the Friday fish fry. The meal is filling and the fish is better than some restaurants we have tried in Mystic CT. The fish has a very thin dusting for a coating and cooked perfectly. We are sad this is for a few Fridays ending soon.“
