“5 ⭐️We went here to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Sacred Heart University. Their location in Trumbull near the college was over an hour wait. Found out there was a second (original ) location in Stratford, On the phone they told us to come right over, they were waiting for us. When we arrived they welcomed us with open arms, were super friendly and super attentive. They treated my daughter like a super star. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so creative and tasty. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.“

“Yummy breakfast but sooo much food. I had a quesadilla with egg, cheese, bacon and hashbrowns. It came with salsa and sour cream. My husband had an omelette with mushroom, onion, cheese and jalapeño. The jalapeños were huge. He said it was good. Clean bathrooms also.“

My husband got the salmon with honey Dijon (very good) and I got the barrel cut filet mignon Oscar style (one of the best steaks I’ve ever had). We had 9 people in our group our server was RJ the food drinks and service were top notch! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection soft roll and the Cajun tator tots oh my!! Definitely recommend you stop in and give it a shot! We will be back. “I love the steaks here. Always cooked perfectly. I also love the fish. The salmon is delicious and so is the shrimp. Seasoned beautifully. I’m a big fan of the Fire Grilled Corn on the Cob. It’s big and kind of like Mexican Street Corn but not overly spicy. My husband orders it with just butter & loves it too. I have not had a burger here yet but it’s my husband’s favorite burger in the area. Always cooked perfectly and huge (1/2 lb!). We are repeat customers and have never been disappointed.“

But all that said, both our meals were tops and I can see why it gets high ratings and is an Oxford favorite. First timers but not the last.“

“Although the dinner was good. Unfortunately, after going home with leftovers, I was eating the left over chopped salad and nearly choked on a piece of plastic. It was a clear piece of plastic and I almost ate it. I contemplated calling the restaurant but I was too upset. Instead, I let my friend who was with me at the restaurant know what happened and I saved a photo of the piece of plastic. It's just one of those experiences that I can't forget. The table service was very good. Everything else about the restaurant was fine. My friend and I will not return and I hope the restaurant does a thorough I investigation to figure out how this could have happened???“
