“I had a group of 15 people for my husband’s 60th birthday. We had a private room, the staff friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious! The portions were huge, everyone took home leftovers, plenty of food for two meals. Very reasonably priced! Highly recommend.“

“My fiancé and I went here for dinner... WOW! We split our two entrees and ended with homemade tiramisu. (If you love coffee like me this will check every box). The Octoberfest Wienerschnitzel was incredible and flavorful. We loved how seasoned the burger was, and the cook was perfect. Overall, a truly satisfying meal and a new restaurant on our weekly rotation. Thank you, Putnam House!“

“Love the Sycamore drive-in! We started getting mostly car hop service when the pandemic hit but we’ve inside a few times before that. Staff is great, always friendly, food is great! We’ve tried many things on the menu, from hamburgers to breakfast sandwiches to salads and always good!“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!“

“Quick in and out to order take maximum 15 minute wait when calling in until order is complete. Walk right into bar was helped immediately, great service. I tried most menu items and all the food was great. Highly recommend for dine in, take out, or doordash!“

“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!“

“i went here late one night a few weeks ago on a Monday with friends after seeing a movie. Waitress and atmosphere was nice, i got a burger. The young chef with the mustache knows how to cook, the burger was awesome, i was very much surprised. good prices, fries were awesome, 5 STARS - nice job!“

“The food is always amazing me and my family have been going here for around 3 years the staff are really friendly and very efficient! The restaurant itself is very small considering the large group of people that it holds. But is always clean! Overall recommend.
Parking: Sometimes it is hard to find parking when crowded
Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu and kids cups.“
“What an amazing place for live music!! Sat at the end of the bar and watched an amazing Chris Cornell cover band. Bartenders were busy, but so polite and professional. I had wings and Philly Cheesesteak which were delicious. They have Captain Lawrence IPA on tap. Best mixed drink is a Smokey Manhattan! I live in Long Island, but will definitely venture back here again.“

“We came here for our anniversary tonight. The food was exceptional!! We got the eat like a chef and had sssooo much food. Everything was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, we especially loved the polenta mushroom appetizer and the scallops and risotto entree, and the cheese cake for dessert were all amazing. A lot of the food is all from their local farm in Sherman CT which is incredible too!!

“Everything was excellent, far exceeding our expectations. Cocktails were fantastic. The cheeseburger from the kids menu was a proper burger cooked exactly to medium. They did not skimp there which impressed me. The fries were easily some of the best fries I've ever had. Service was friendly and timely. Would definitely come back again.“

“From the call to order, thru pickup. Horrible. Lady Linda that answered the phone was rude as can be. Food was cold. The sauces are “in the bag”. Well that was a lie. Tried to run my card, and she kept jamming it into the machine. Never one apology, let’s make things right etc. been going here for years. But after tonight, my family and all the friends I’ve told, won’t either. Shame, this used to be the go to place where the old owners were there.“

From the vibe and atmosphere, to the most amazing drinks by Dorian at the bar and the incredible, elevated food (Bronzino & NY Strip to be specific) and just an absolute amazing experience overall. “The food is AMAZING. Better than what you’d expect for bar food. The in house ranch is worth a mention by itself. It’s so good you’ll put it on everything. The fries are bomb. Wings great. Kids loved their tenders. Will be coming back again when in the area. We didn’t dine in. Took the food to go.“
