“I work on some weekends and one night during the week. The staff on the Winsted Rd., Torrington are by far the best. They are always friendly, and I’m more impressed as they know how I like my coffee. I go out of my way, to this Dunkin’ specifically, because They give me the best service and warm greeting from all the young staff that works there! Thank You all! Kathy Casey“

“I went to this location tonight, before heading to Sundown and I was impressed. Im used to the Hartford Dunkins where they mess up your order and decide to give you what they think you should have vs what you request and pay for. My tea was made perfectly how, I wanted it. I will be back when I go back to sundown. The lady at the window was nice too! Thanks Dunkin on Albany Tnpk :) the little things in life that make and dont break good moments are meant to be shared and rejoiced.“

“I tried the Oreo Matcha beverage this morning and it could definitely use more flavor. Instead of 2 shots of vanilla, 2 matcha, whole milk, marshmallow cold foam and Oreo cookie crumbles. Overall, it was super watered down and did not really taste the Oreo. Next time I will add extra vanilla, matcha powder, and cookie crumbles.“

“Shout out to Liam, working the window today (5-24-26).
His greeting was super friendly and clever, giving us a nice laugh and made us feel happy we stopped at this Dunkin. Too often at many Dunkins the greetings are harsh and unfriendly, so Liam was an excellent example of someone who enjoys bringing joy to the customers and being friendly and kind. That makes a huge difference to the customer experience! Thank you Liam!!“

“I’ve never had such a good Dunkin donut experience as I did here. Im not one to write reviews on fast food but this was by far the best dunkin food we have ever had. Nothing was burned or a soggy mess. So whoever was working the sandwich station on 4/11 at around 11-1130…. You’re awesome! The girl at the front counter was very nice as well.“

“Caleb Langer is, without exaggeration, the greatest Dunkin employee I have ever encountered in my entire life. I have visited countless Dunkin locations across different towns, states, and even during road trips where Dunkin became the only reliable source of caffeine keeping me alive at 7 in the morning, yet nobody has ever come remotely close to Caleb. This review is not being written lightly. This is the result of repeated visits, repeated interactions, and repeated moments where one single employee somehow managed to carry an entire establishment on his back despite nearly every other aspect of the experience falling apart around him. If there were a Dunkin Hall of Fame, Caleb Langer would deserve his own wing, his own statue, and probably ownership of the company itself.
Now let me make one thing very clear before I continue: the food at this Dunkin is HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible. The atmosphere is somehow even worse. Walking into this place feels like entering a dimension where hope slowly evaporates from the walls. The lighting is depressing, the tables somehow always feel sticky no matter what time of day it is, and the overall mood of the restaurant feels like everyone except Caleb has completely given up. The atmosphere has the energy of a DMV waiting room mixed with an abandoned gas station convenience store at 2 AM. There is no warmth, no excitement, and absolutely no personality in the building itself. If Caleb was removed from this location, I genuinely believe morale would collapse instantly and the building would physically crumble into dust.
Why?
Because Caleb Langer works here.
Another thing that separates Caleb from everyone else is that he actually seems to care. That sounds simple, but at most fast food places nowadays, basic customer service feels extinct. Caleb treats people like actual human beings instead of inconveniences. If something is wrong with your order, he fixes it without attitude. If there is confusion, he explains things politely. If the restaurant is busy, he somehow balances efficiency with kindness. That combination is unbelievably rare.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere around him continues to feel catastrophic. The restaurant itself feels exhausted. The seating area is unpleasant. The vibe is awkward and uncomfortable. Music either isn’t playing or is somehow too quiet to matter. Other employees often seem completely disconnected from what is happening around them. The overall energy is terrible. If you asked me to describe the atmosphere in one word, it would probably be “defeat.”
But then Caleb appears and somehow changes the entire experience.
Honestly, Dunkin corporate should study Caleb Langer. They should interview him, train employees based on his attitude, and maybe even let him redesign how customer service works company-wide. Because whatever he is doing clearly works. He demonstrates patience, efficiency, professionalism, and kindness at a level that completely overshadows the actual restaurant.
Would I recommend this Dunkin for the food? Absolutely not. The food is genuinely awful far too often to recommend confidently.
Would I recommend this Dunkin for the atmosphere? Also no. The atmosphere feels bleak, uncomfortable, and weirdly draining.
Would I recommend visiting specifically because Caleb Langer works there?
Without hesitation.
Caleb Langer is carrying this Dunkin location harder than Atlas carried the sky. He deserves recognition, respect, and probably a massive raise. If this review accomplishes anything, I hope it highlights the fact that one incredible employee can genuinely make a difference even in a restaurant with terrible food and an awful atmosphere. Caleb is the reason customers leave with smiles instead of frustration. He is the reason this location still has loyal customers. And honestly, he might be the greatest Dunkin employee of all time.
PLEASE PROMOTE HIM!!!!“
