“Delicious!!!!!!! Beautiful presentation of my to-go meal! Ina year of plastic to-go meals, how REFRESHING to see an orchid, delicately placed atop my chicken! Gorgeous. This is greatly appreciated. The BEST coconut rice I’ve EVER had. Outstandingly delicious—all the stars!!!! I ordered 2 chicken dishes to try and both are beyond good. Looking forward to working my way through the menu!“

“Awesome place; fantabulous menu with creative presentation….. above all a very cordial group who serve with a smile. The creativity in the creation of the drinks is mind blowing… I would eat here every day …“

“Stopped in today on a rainy day just for a quick bite and what a surprise! We had two delicious lunch specials and literally everything was delicious! Very large portions. Gluten free options for my wife were plenty. Cozy place with great service. Our new favorite place for Indian food.“

“Coromandel delivered an outstanding dining experience! The food was authentic, incredibly flavorful, and every dish was prepared to perfection. We started with the chicken kebabs and eggplant appetizer, both of which were absolutely delicious. The curries were rich and full of flavor, and the roti, garlic naan, and chili naan were fresh, soft, and the perfect accompaniment.

The cocktail menu is equally impressive, featuring creative drinks inspired by the vibrant flavors and spices of India. It adds a unique and refreshing touch to the overall dining experience.

We enjoyed every single bite of our meal. Whether you’re a fan of meat dishes or looking for excellent vegetarian options, Coromandel offers an extensive menu with something for everyone. If you’re in the Darien area, this is a must-visit destination for authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommended - we’ll definitely be back!“

“Excellent food, excellent service! We got palak paneer via Door Dash: mine i asked for mild and my partner asked for extra spicy, they were both delicious and perfect and clearly labeled. Also if u like spice: the extra spicy was legit SPICY my boyfriend had a psychedelic spice experience with it. Also got the mango chutney and papadums, bangers all.“

“Delicious food from a great member of our community. Try it; 100% chance you'll be glad you did. New Canaan is so lucky to have Chef Prasad.“

“Ive spent a lot of time in India and sarvanaa bhavan tastes just like the locations went to all the time in New Delhi. Delicious and really scratches that itch. It can be really spicy like it is over there, so make sure you ask about spice level. Highly recommend! Updated from previous review on 2026-09-06“

“Excellent food and friendly service. Goat curry was very tasty!“

“Cool small neighborhood pizza place where you can get ...neighborhood pizza. I really like this place, but it's kind of hidden, in the intersection across from Mama's Kitchen. Bonus, there are a lot of great items here besides pizza....such as tandoori and biriyani_which you may not be interested in, but I am always looking for Indian food....“
