“I would like to share my recent experience at Saray Bakery. A couple of days ago I placed my order over the phone and went to pick up on Thursday. There was a mistake with my order and it wasn’t ready. The employees seemed very apoplectic and told me to please give them 15 minutes and they will fix it. Even tho I was really in a rush i decided to wait. The ladies at the counter were so hospitable that you couldn’t be mad at them. The offered me a free coffee and 2 cookies. One lady came over to apologize again and explained the situation while the other lady worked on my order. They make my order quickly and put in another free pastry to go. That was so nice! At the end it’s not the mistake that matters it’s how they handled it and how they made me feel! Thank you lovely ladies at Saray Bakery I will be back :)“

We tried the pumpkin one, the Dubai one, and the chocolate one; you can taste the high-quality ingredients in every bite. You can eat there—it's spacious, clean and has pleasant music—or you can take it to go. The owner guides you on how to heat them so you can enjoy them to the fullest. Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“My husband surprised me with a Princess cake. I mentioned I’d love to try one after seeing it in a baking show. He searched online and Marjolaine’s was the only place he could find. He drove over an hour to pick it up and it was well worth the drive! We just picked up a Dacquoise. This one was a request from our daughter. We tried a smaller version that was in the case. It was absolutely delicious! So light and airy and the flavor was divine! We are driving this cake all the way to NC and are 100% certain that our daughter will be thrilled ! We are heading back in the beginning of April for a Marjolaine for our daughter in law. It is well worth the trip!!!“

I explained how many people I was hosting and that I didn’t know what or how many to order. They were unbelievably patient with me and told me they would take care of it. And did they ever!!!! “I been coming to this bakery since I was a little kid and I still do as an adult I’m in there at least once a month I always get their chocolate towers and cannolis and I had a bungalow cake for my birthday cake this year and it really was the best cake I had in recent time. “So I went over a friends house for dinner and he had a Lupi's Bread on the table, Looked great. Tasted better. He told me about this little bakery in New Haven at 169 Washington Ave Lupi's Marchigiano Bakery. I went the next day for another Bread where I met Larry Lupi a true gentleman. His grandfather started the Bakery in 1900 when he came over from Italy, and now is being run by Larry and his brother Peter. So If you want to taste a little piece of heaven, stop by Lupi's and for a few bucks you can.

“I enjoy the authentic Guatemalan coffee, the bread, they go great with my coffee. Enjoy Authentic Guatemalan tamales, reminds me of when my grandmother made them, the chuchitos, they are like mini corn tamales and great with coffee too. Definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic Guatemalan food. They also sell beautiful souvenirs.“

My husband loved the taste and kept mentioning it when it got closer to his birthday this year so I, of course, had to get another one. It was AMAZING! Everyone loved it and a few said it was the best cake they’d ever had. Yellow cake with cheesecake filling and buttercream- highly recommend. Steve was also great with communicating and working through my indecisiveness about the design.“

“my family ordered lunch from Isabel's to eat at home, but weve also stopped by in person to eat little snacks. so many food options on their menu and its all delicious, and I have a restrictive diet, but I still can eat many options. also, the hot chocolate, if you arent a big fan of Mexican hot chocolate, you can get a cup and mix it with american hot chocolate at home and it becomes incredibly delicious. idk, thats what I do when I get hot chocolate. The drive here is down congested narrow roads with limited space for your turns. Stay alert a lot of low 12 ft bridges surrounding the customer. Follow trucker GPS but don’t rely on it. When you see the customer, You can make a right at the light or go up to the next street and make a right and another right and follow that path around to the yard, whichever’s is easier. Once on the yard, a lot of space to dock. Easy check in. Quick loading. Extremely professional staff.

Leaving the facility you will encounter the same congested narrow streets on your way out. Follow the path the customer gate tells you. You should make a left shortly after going around the curve. To get back to the interstate, make a right at the stop sign and follow that street down maybe 1/2 mile than make another left at the light. Follow that street all the way down and when you see the grocery store on the right, make a left at the light. You will see a sign that tells you which way to get back to the interstate. The last turn to get to the interstate can be tricky. You will come into a light that has strange look 4 way stop and signs that point to the interstate (can be misleading) but Dont go into the neighbourhood that the GPS will try and advise you to go down. Make a wide left turn on the street and you will see the entrance to the interstate maybe 1/4 of mile on the right hand side.

Tandems all the way forward or you will not be able to make your turns.

The community is super understanding and will get out of your way to help you make your turns, just be patient.“
