New American Restaurants near Oxford, CT

“Unfortunately, this is a downgraded rating for this restaurant since we first went there several months ago. First I want to say however, that the service remains excellent and the staff really care. We have been to Morea 5 times since it has opened and tonight we realized that if they really want to be the best and 5 stars, then a few things need to change. 1. There menu is significantly static and really needs to either change or increase the choices on the menu. 2. They need to add more seafood choices. 3. Their dessert menu is not great or imaginative. and 4. They need some surprises on the menu- like wild game, seasonal dishes, or special seasonal delicacies like wild mushrooms or amazing and delicious fish like Pompano. I hope the management of the restaurant reads this review“

“This was a stop along the way home on our vacation. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak and my husband ordered a regular cheesesteak. The owner took our order. Super friendly gentleman! Our food was ready very quickly, hot, and delicious! There isn't much to the place, but well worth the stop!“

“Get the Cuban!!! So good real smoked pork, ham, swiss, pickled onions!!! We also loved the mac and cheese burger and teriyaki wings. Delicious!!!

Parking: Easy in/ out parking, but you can also eat inside or outside, really cute place!“

“Went to pub 67 last night to watch Nashville drive I have to say this is now my favorite place to watch a band, such a great atmosphere. We had 9 people in our group our server was RJ the food drinks and service were top notch! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection soft roll and the Cajun tator tots oh my!! Definitely recommend you stop in and give it a shot! We will be back. “I visited the establishment today to have a meal. I ordered their wings and a grilled buffalo chicken wrap. The food was delicious. We chose to sit outside due to the pleasant weather. Unfortunately, we were seated next to an individual who was having a loud phone conversation. It would have been preferable if he had taken the call elsewhere. Despite this inconvenience, the restaurant was quite busy and the food was served hot and fresh.“

“yes, ordered a pork chop at dinner , I thought it was 12 ounces and it was 22 oz. so big I ate it for 5 days. moving back to Shelton, I now go there all the time I love it. you should come to love it too. great hometown people“

“We had a birthday celebration in an Igloo outside tonight !2/10/24. Just 4 of us girls. What a nice time we had. Everything was perfect. Our meals were delicous and our waitress was wonderful. Her name is Heather. She worked so hard to make our night perfect. Thank you Heather!!!!!“

She was friendly, funny and gave good recommendations regarding the menu. Ended up having friends show up and none of us were without service when it was needed. She was always there with a smile! “Excellent food. I loved their cold lobster roll, their Maine lobster tastes like eating Maine lobster in Maine. The lobster bomb was amazing! Even the potato salad was surprisingly great. Exceptional restaurant, and it's cool how they do things the classic way in terms of taking only cash or check instead of cards. I wish more restaurants were like this one, I'd eat here a few times every week if I lived closer.“

“My husband son and I  went to the station for Valentine's Day! We went for an early dinner to beat the crowds which was nice. G Sitting in a booth close to the patio is not recommended as you smell cigars your entire dinner. Although the drink special was too sweet and didn't care for it my chicken franchise was delicious! Our son got the chicken fingers and fries -  they should probably give more than two chicken fingers for kids and also an option for a side like a vegetable.“

“I was at a get-together at this restaurant and the food was good. I ordered the delmonico 22oz steak and a side of vegetables. 22oz wasn't the largest steak on the menu, but steak was the main option. The steak was cooked well. The service was fast and good. The waitresses were fast to provide refills. This was a very good stoo.“

“I was given a Groupon as a gift to go here and was pleasantly pleased! Our waitress was so attentive and everything form the Bread (with soft butter! I hate when it is still hard it was perfect!) the salad was very fresh and we both chose the Chicken Cacciatore which was so good! The place is cute and very clean!
