“Went here last night to see what the hype was. In my opinion; are they the best wings? No. Are they the most crispy sauced wings? Yes. Absolutely the best blue cheese I’ve had that complimented the sauce. The tater tot poutine however was phenomenal. A cheese pull in every bite. Dare I say it was better than what I had in Canada. Lastly, the Harry’s Butterbeer drink was so good I wish I had more! My only gripe was I was told it was going to be a 45 min wait, I left my phone number to be texted. I wound up waiting almost an hour and a half and never got a text. Apparently their system glitched and said it sent, but was not the case. I however was seated immediately after explaining the situation.“

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! “Tasty food, but the service is lacking. My food came out wrong (the sever admitted it was wrong) and then she didn't key in a new entree so I had to wait 20 minutes before a new entree arrived. All of the other guests at my table were finishing up their food and they cleared everyone's plate as they put my fresh plate down. I felt very rushed. The service really took away from the dining experience.“

“Good service with very attentive waitresses. Food is delicious and cooked perfectly. They do have size options for the pancakes so if you are not into giant pancakes you can downsize. Atmosphere is comfortable but not overwhelming. The price is a nice plus to coming here, even though they only accept cash, but that keeps their prices down.“

“Excellent food.. great gluten free options! Placed an order for takeout today and received a surprise dessert! Little do you know, I ordered this meal for my mom who spent the entire day in the hospital with my grandma. Seeing this little extra treat after a very busy weekend just reminded me of why I love this restaurant. Thank you for being so good to your patrons. “We happened to come in on a busy night. Tina was our server. Her and the Manager were professional and handled the crowd with no problem. All our ice creams were perfect and it was still a pleasant environment even though every booth was full! Will definitely come back again“

“I made a reservation here on a Saturday for a date night with my wife and we had a great time. The atmosphere was cool. The service and food were all very good. (We had Cuban Sliders, Calamari and loaded plantain nachos). It was nice to have a unique restaurant experience for a change. The Oak Patio serves the TimeOut Sports & Pizza Bar menu which includes usual pub fare such as burgers, gourmet pizza, appetizers, salads and sandwiches plus a few high end dinners. Full bar with craft beers in addition to a good selection of wine. Arrive early if you want to sit in the comfortable sectional and seatings in front of the stage inside the fenced in area. Our friends got there an hour before the show and we still could only be seated at a table for four outside the fence, which allows diners to see the entertainment but through the iron bars.All of our food and drinks were very good and served in a timely manner: coconut shrimp, calamari and nachos for starters. Kobe burger with bacon and fried egg; French dip handheld sandwich with sliced beef, cheddar and au jus; Jerry Pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni.My partner, an old friend of Timmy's wanted to say hi during intermission so we went through the lobby of the Doubletree hotel by Hilton Hotel where this venue is located in Bristol, and went inside the enclosure so they could shake hands, catch up and take some photos. It's a nice place to get out and have a meal with or without a band. There's a lot of greenery, palms, plants and white lights under a white tented roof for the enclosed main area.“

“I'm new in the Bristol area. One day I decided to come eat at friendlys and ever since I've been coming here. They are friendly here, the food is always fresh, neatly served and delicious. I love it and so does my 9 year old daughter. I'd recommend friedlys to others any day , and I do actually. My niece comes here too now with me all the time

Vegetarian options: I see they have broccoli and beef bites I haven't tried the new item yet but I'm sooo looking forward to it ! Yummy

“Just had our first meal here. The entire restaurant is filthy. Our dishes that held our silverware were reused. Our table was dirty To where we washed it with our drinking water. We were ready to leave but had put in our order and wanted to try food. The food Was decent but pricey for amount you got. Called manager over to show him how thick the dust was on ledge where everyone sits And eats. He said he was new. Not an excuse. Restaurant was empty now I know why. The whole place smells dirty as soon as you sit down and have to breathe in one spot. This restaurant will not last if things don't Change. It will be a repeat of Chips restaurant all over again.“

In a very lively area.
We got the :
-Cowboy burger itg side of fries - good burger,the bacon was super crispy
-Ahi tuna burger with a side of calslaw- surprisingly juicy and the seasoning was delicious.And the slaw was very tasty
-Buffalo shrimp - just YUM
-Egg plant fries - not my favorite,was a bit too oily,the bayter is too heavy for the eggplant
Washed it ll down with a vanilla milkshake

“Went for my first time and holy hell, these wings are great! Got the smoked ones with garlic sweet chili and honey chipotle flavors, and both were amazing! The texture is really good, and while they’re a little on the smaller side, i just wanted more. The philly rolls were also pretty good, and the drinks were solid and reasonably priced. “First time in Newington and my first time at Steve’s Place! I stopped in for a quick lunch during an unexpected break in my day, looking for a classic Connecticut sandwich shop—and this place did not disappoint.
The staff gave me a few recommendations, and I went with the chicken cutlet grinder. It was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving.
What really stood out, though, was the service. I’m not sure of his name, but I’m guessing the owner or manager came out from behind the counter, sat with me, and chatted for a few minutes. As a first-time customer, I’ve never felt more welcomed.

“Our order: 1st plate: sausage & 2 eggs toast & 1 pancake 2nd plate: omelette with green peppers; tomateo & cheese ( no toast or meat) 1 pancake ---1 cup of coffee each!! COST: $33.34! Outrageous! The young waitress forgot to put in for 1 pancake as partner requested a little late but she completely forgot altogether & then told us it was almost done, should have admitted dde forgot to put in for it! Then she never came back to get us a 2nd cup of coffee. Busy at times but it only takes 10 seconds to pour coffee & the mugs are extremely small! Seems she catered to larger tables (bigger tips)! Way too expensive for the poor service. Prices on menu online are not updated“
