“The new owners have added some new items that made me really excited to try this place. We loved the butterfly pea syrup added to the lychee lemonade! The color change is really fun to watch. This place gets SLAMMED on the weekends so a 20-30 min wait is pretty reasonable for a place with a line wrapped around the building. The food was so tasty and fresh and we loved the maple butter with our chicken and waffles. Its such a close spot to both the bike trail and Sleeping Giant so we'll definitely be stopping by after our next adventure.“

“My husband and I were in town in business, googled “best coffee place nearby”, and Cantean popped up with excellent reviews. We were charmed by the easy, comfortable vibe walking in, and by the friendly greeting we received. We decided to share a sandwich, which turned out to be substantial and scrumptious: plenty of ham and Brie with a nice thick layer of fresh spinach, on a wonderful Peasant bread. John got coffee, and I had a beautiful matcha latte, finishing things off with a couple of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Everything was beautifully prepared and wrapped, with the perfect number of napkins included, at a very reasonable price. We very much enjoyed the experience at Cantean Coffee and Tea, and happily recommend it to everyone!“

“Love love love this place. I have spent so many hours hanging out here. In the morning it’s so fun to come sit on the couch and read a book — the coffee is delicious! And the coffee menu is really cool and fun. Any latte here is a win. And Hanna is the most incredible and friendliest barista!! It’s also a really fun vibe in the afternoon to come for a beer and hangs. They have vegetarian options for food usually and a great food truck outside. I am all about aesthetic and this place crosses all the t’s and dots all the i’s. My new go-to spot!!“

Always crowded a bit so if you crossing from the parking to the store always look first. People driving cars in Waterbury they don't stop. They have some kind of mental problem. They think when they driving a car that they can mix their problems with people on the streets, plus they always in some kind of hurry I don't know exactly what they hurry is but they don't even have a minute to stop for a person crossing an street.“

“Was visiting here Friday morning relaxing in the chairs with my coffee when I unexpectedly had a very intense seizure. The staff jumped into action & took care of me until paramedics arrived. I felt embarrassed to return because I'd caused a scene, but when I came back and apologized the staff here warmly welcomed me back and were so kind to me that it nearly brought me to tears. These are amazing, wonderful, beautiful people, and EXACTLY the type of employees that every business should pray for. This is my new spot for as long as I live in Connecticut and I would literally go out of my way if I were you to go to this Dunkin (especially if you plan to have a medical emergency bc these ladies are cool af under pressure lol). The girls do everything they can to accommodate you and make sure that you're satisfied with your order and they do it in such a genuinely kind way that it starts your day off beautifully. I just ordered 8 burritos from here and I'm so surprised that each one weighs over 1.5 pounds! That's crazy!!! The owner, Mr. Máximo, was very kind and friendly and gave me free food and cake! “Went on a busy Mother’s Day in the morning. Quiet inside, but drive through line was slammed and every employee was handling it with positivity and ease. I am 8 months pregnant and ordered my food and drink with my husband and Ronnie at the register (I believe her to be a manager or something) was SO kind. Really made me feel special on my technically unofficial first Mother’s Day. My drink also was perfectly made by a shorter girl with short dark hair, and I usually am hard to please with my confusing orders! Overall fantastic experience, really made my chaotic morning less anxious!
