“Service was outstanding. Prix fixe lunch menu has very good variety. Main menu is very interesting with something for almost everyone. Will return for more lunch meetings and most likely dinner as well. Great addition to our dining scene options. Somewhat small parking lot with 2 spaces reserved for bakery next door. The acoustics are not great, so intimate conversations may suffer during busy times. It is difficult to find parking when the restaurant is busy. Apparently the church across the street no longer will share their lot.“

“I dined here with a group of six a couple of weeks ago and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The portions were very generous, our waiter was attentive, kind and pleasant. The music, atmosphere and ambiance were lovely and the food and desserts were incredible. I ordered food to go last night and met the owner, he was such a wonderful man and very appreciative of his customers. Once again everything was perfect and delicious. I can’t wait to go back soon. “Went here for brunch with some friends and ate at the rooftop. It was slow when we arrived because we ate at an off time but that made it better because it was such a nice atmosphere to chat and relax. By far some of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was $27 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert which I thought was a great price. You won’t be leaving here hungry! I would definitely come here again.“

I ordered the Zuppa di pesce ( one of my favorite hard to find meals ) absolutely everything I was hoping it would be and more . Very extensive menu if you can't find something here to tickle your taste buds maybe your not human . The service was awesome. The restaurant itself ain't very fancy but a steady flow of traffic of people picking up and calling in for orders . They are definitely doing something right . “It has been awhile (too long) since we’ve eaten at Portofino’s, just busy. It was very nice to be recognized and they were genuinly glad to see us “back”! Our dinner was delicious! I had the sea bass over risotto. The bass was cooked to perfection! And their service was excellent as always! Thank you for a wonderful evening! “I’ve been a fan and customer of Villarina’s Southbury for many years for far too many reasons to list ... but the most important one is the owners who are family and treat everyone like family!❤️ This is a quick review to say YUMMMM!!! Before the “stay at home” order went into effect, I stocked up on their frozen dinners and lots of pasta sauce. Always love having these in our house and especially so now. We recently tried the frozen linguine w/white clam sauce I had picked up. It was our first time for this dinner and WOW! It was fabulous. My husband says it’s the best he’s ever had. It’s not something I typically eat but loved it. We’ll add it to our list of things to pick-up. Thanks as always!!!“

“I visited and was really disappointed because Vazzy's has always been a family favorite for years. My aunt had the mussels, which she said the flavor really wasn't there. I had the meatballs appetizer and a salad. The meatballs were ok, but not what I was expecting. My Mom had the chicken parmasean and said it was good. Some of the staff really weren't that friendly. Just a really disappointing visit.“

“We've been coming here since they opened in Woodbury, and it's safe to say that they're still just as good, if not better. Everything I've ever had here is always hot, fresh, and tasty. If I ever have time, I always try and come in for a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza. It always comes out in a timely manner, and is constantly amazing every time. The owner is extremely friendly, and makes for a great experience everytime. While they may be priced a little higher than some other pizza places, you are absolutely getting what you pay for.“

“First time at Miranda's! Greeted immediately when we walked in the door. The staff was so warm and friendly. The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 4:30. Took us a few minutes to decide what we were having, but the waitress was so kind and accommodating. Finally decided on garlic bread with cheese, cheese pizza, meatball grinder. Meat lasagna, soup and Caesar salad. Everything was on point and delicious. Not a crumb left on the table when we finished. When we left there wasn't an empty table in the place. “We recently celebrated my mother`s 100th birthday at Pulcinellas with about 40 friends and family and everyone is still talking about it ! Linda ensured perfection all around. The pizza, antipasto, entrees (chicken champagne, veal francese, eggplant rolatini, penne a la vodka), and sides were delicious and plentiful. The pistachio BD cake was gorgeous and tasted out of this world! the staff was so attentive to everyone's needs and the piano player added to the festive atmosphere. rolls, fried zucchini with marinara sauce, my entree was 2 sautéed soft shell crabs & pasta.
The service was amazing! Food delicious!
I decided I had room for dessert. I sat in the lounge and had a scrumptious chocolate lava cake!!!
I don’t want all of my food delivered at once. At Carlito’s I didn’t feel rushed. Warm rolls and ice water. Appetizer. Salad. Entree. All served after you have finished the previous course. I enjoyed a very relaxed evening!

“Best Deli / EATERY in town. This place is a hidden GEM ! Everything here is freshly made and the staff are very friendly. It’s hard to find good delis these days in Connecticut but this is the place ! The new owner comes from a long years of experience in the kitchen industry and they are very knowledgeable in what you want to eat. No such thing as language barrier, it’s all about communication and how detailed you are with how you want your order to be made.

“Great people offering your typical fan fare for a pizzeria. I have had their pizza, and although it is not for me, theirs subs are by far the best in the area. Their grinder rolls are exquisite and come from NY and mesh phenominaly with their chicken parm and sausage and peppers. I find their grinders very well priced for what you get and always well received. ALSO, a GIANT kudos... these people take phone orders CORRECTLY and follow directions well!

“AMAZING! A.S is amazing. Their staff is so patient and helpful. The quality of the food and cleanliness of the location is near perfect. We usually travel to Norwalk, but thankful they opened a location near Shelton/Monroe. We went before Christmas Eve and it made our holiday feel “normal”.“

“I've been going to this location for roughly 6-7 years. It's gone through 3 different owners until this point. The new ownership is by far the best to date. Everything I've had up until this point I'd highly recommended. I haven't tried everything yet, but one of my favorites so far was the shrimp francese, (I added capers to mine). The current pizza maker has stayed with the business throughout the years and has gone through the ranks and changes. He does a great job and should be celebrated for his hard work and dedication. I'm excited to welcome this new restaurant to my list of places I love to eat in New Milford. If you haven't been, definitely check it out! If for nothing else, at least to check out their JUMBO slices!
