“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “Oh my gosh!! What a delicious meal we just had!! We found several gift cards in a drawer and visited Outback Steakhouse in Shelton. The outdoor seating area was perfect! The server, James, was very attentive and helpful. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and was wonderful! My scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection and the Cajun seasoning was spot on. Keith's steak was cooked just as he requested. The portions were terrific! My cheesecake was smooth and yummy and Keith's chocolate dessert was a real treat. I wish I knew who gave us the gift card as I'd love to thank them!! I hope you'll consider patronizing Outback Steakhouse in Shelton!! We'll definitely be back!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼“

“First time ordering here but we were all tired & no one wanted to cook & this was nearby. I was scared to order after reading some of these reviews. But we were all pleasantly surprised. Yes it’s standard Chinese fare but it was good. There was a lot of meat in every dish we ordered (Lo Mein, chicken chow Mein, pork fried rice, sweet & sour chicken) and it was perfectly cooked. I didn’t care for the fried wontons but everyone else liked them. Wonton soup had plenty of wontons and was yummy. Loved the sweet & sour chicken - very lightly fried so it wasn’t heavy & dull. We all voted we would go here again.“

“I’ve been a regular customer since the restaurant was in its original location on CT 111. The food is great and unlike most other Chinese restaurants the portions haven’t decreased, price although higher than before but not significantly. If you order online you can use a credit card if you wait until you get your order in person you will need cash. I travel 45 minutes to get my Chinese food from them because they are that good!“

“I’m not one to leave reviews but I absolutely need to let people know about how great this place is. I’ve ordered quite a few items here for takeout and I’m amazed every time. The delivery is quick, the food is hot and fresh. The pasta fagioli is quite literally some of the best I’ve ever had in my life! Do yourself a favor and order from here. And it’s fairly priced. Absolutely love this place!“
