“This place really caught us by surprise. Outstanding food. We ordered two beef dishes, and two chicken dishes (I sampled 3 of the 4 dishes). The spicy cumin beef was mind blowing. The heat was not for the timid. The beef in both dishes was thick, tender, and juicy. Never seen that from Chinese take out. The beef with cilantro was just awesome. I'd replace bok choy with broccoli next time if I could. The broccoli chicken dish was also over the top. The sauces on the three I tried were the best I'd ever had.“

Today's visit was a little tougher situation, customer soda machine not working, everyone inside had to order at the counter (only 1 register open for dine-in service).Still, the crew remained professional. Service was great both visits, dining room looked good, food up to standard.“

“Takeout review: I walked by this place and thought the menu sounded great for my next cheat meal. The inside looked spacious. Finally ordered takeout recently and really enjoyed the fried goodness they offered. I got the Husky Hot Chicken Sandwich and wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was crunchy and the flavor was on point. It's smoky, sweet, spicy, with pickles, tomato, lettuce, secret sauce on a brioche bun. I really enjoyed it, even though it was messy to eat. I also had the poutine fries; fries with gravy and cheese curds. It came in a bucket and the gravy and cheese curds intermingled well. Overall, not a bad place to get some comfort food.“

“I can't believe how amazing the bacon cheeseburger and bacon and cheese fries were at Jefferson Fry Company! After seeing their commercial, I couldn't resist trying them out, and boy, was it worth it. The food was mouth-watering and made me want to order more, but I'm trying to unbig my back before the summer. The staff, especially the guy whose name I unfortunately forgot in my food induced greed, was exceptional. He was friendly, personable, and made my order to perfection. I was so happy with experience that I even danced while I was eating. I highly recommend everyone to go to Jefferson Fry Company now. It's a 10/10 experience!“

“1st thing off rip? I Love the Tripple cheeseburgers here and I eat allot of their cheese fries too??(I just wish you could add chillie to it )? Besides my fat appetite fantasies lmao, they do have a nice interior in my opinion, they got big windows so the natural light compliments the place to me. “Each time I come to this part of West Hartford I can hardly find the pick and mix because their signage is very dim lit.Once inside I always find the menu an interesting array of selections. I ordered the tofu bowl and decided to make it a combo but they had run out of miso soup, so I can get that extra next time.The summer rolls were light and crispy, and the tofu bowl was absolutely delicious as usual.Just Pull up into the Tunxis Plaza, across from Stop and Shop, and look for Farmington Ave Pizza, and right next door you will see the Pick and Mix!“

“I adore this location. Although it is not particularly upscale, it is a great local restaurant that offers up delicious pizza. The sauce is tasty without being overly sweet, and the crust is nicely browned and crunchy. Always nice service and fresh toppings are provided.I've visited South Whitney a number of times, and each visit has been positive.“

“This Five Guys is located in the Avon Walmart Plaza, so it's easy to get in at the light and there's plenty of parking. This particular location I had no issues with - it was clean, their soda machines were working, and my burger was hot with cheese gooeing everywhere. I love a Five Guys burger, they do the cheese so well! This seems to be a popular place for Doordash and UberEats orders - many pickups were made at the same time as my meal, which caused a noticable but NOT unreasonable delay. I only wish there was a little more non-booth seating.“

“What sold me on this food truck was the customer service, the lady that took care of us was extremely sweet, attentive and very upbeat. LOVED THAT! Aside from that me and my husband only bought frappes and chocolate covered strawberries this time but they were so delicious and very refreshing. Will return to try more things.“

“Very well organized store (supported by the soft spoken support staff) with all the Asian/ Indian grocery essentials which is located in Avon and in the close proximity from Bristol and Farmington.The vegetable truck has a schedule every Monday and Friday in case you want to plan your pick up accordingly ?.Definitely recommend the place that certainly saves your travel efforts in going all the way to far places for Asian groceries.“

“I returned to Subway today for a roast beef sub. Peter was all alone. The place was so busy. I was in line. Peter kept his cool through it all. I loved how this"One man show" put clean gloves on while making sandwiches. He took off the gloves ringing out customers. Then he reapplied fresh gloves and so on. He amazed me!! GREAT JOB TODAY PETER!!!! I hope your supervisor knows how valuable you are. He was polite and smiling through it all. Now I know why people like Subway so much!!“

No doubt it tastes good and the fries are great but the total lack of atmosphere, fast food vibe and high prices makes this place an infrequent go-to pick. If you want a meal, there are much more enjoyable ways to spend this kind of money.“
