“Wow !!! A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . Give this Restaurant a shot , you won’t regret it . Thank you“

The last few times I was disappointed, the pizza was just okay and no consistency. That would be okay at a different place but not at Frank Pepes wherw the pizza is almost $40. That was probably a year or so ago.
We decided to try it again last night and I did take out.
The entire experience was great. I ordered online and it was seamless. The staff was nice and everything was good.

The pizza itself was hot, fresh and definitely loaded with ingredients. All the toppings were fresh and plentiful.

“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!“

If you want a genuine slice and a smile you should come here, I remember running into Pepe (the owner) before the restaurant opened and I always acknowledged how passionate he seemed about his business and it shows in the food and staff he hired. “I can’t say enough about Tommy’s Pizza Palace Vasili’s Greek Everything salad dressing!! I first came upon it at a craft show at Wadsworth mansion! It’s so delicious that it has become my mission to drive from Stamford to Middletown to pick it up! “What a treat this meal was! This was the perfect spot to eat Italian food as my son was running a marathon the next day. There were 3 of us and we all ordered something different. Fast forward to now, I have a wife and kids that never ate here, we live in Missouri right now and none of the kid or the wife has ever tasted something so good!
