I had some time to kill so I started asking Charlotte about why my homemade sourdough bread wasn't successful. She called Raphael over who, while he didn't share his secret receipe, he helped me understand the reasons why my bread wasn't full of air and getting any "oven lift." They were both so gracious with their time and experience......I hope they will consider offering cooking classes at some point. Absolute class act people!“

Kate not only took the time to chat with us, but actually disappeared into the back for several minutes and returned with a container of starter for us to take home. She treated it like no big deal, but to us it was such a kind and thoughtful gesture — the sort of small-town generosity you don’t often find in larger cities. Kate went above and beyond, and we left not only with a starter, but with a big smile and a genuine appreciation for her warmth.“

“Mom and Pop bagel place. Awesome tasting bagels for a very reasonable price. Place gets very busy. We stopped by around 930am and had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. But, It was worth it. Fresh bagels were being made as we waited. It was cool to see the baking process.“

“Me and my friend came here for bagels. The guy is pretty funny and he’s super sweet (idk if he’s the owner) he’s really good with suggestions too and recommendations. I tried capers for the first time cuz of him and I liked them a lot!! The service was fast and seamless and the food quality is amazing. Prices are pretty fair too!!“

It reminds me of the crazy good bread you get for breakfast in Europe. We have so far eaten it toasted with butter and honey and with split pea soup.I’ve got all kinds of crazy ideas for this bread…including toasting it and crumbling it on top of Mac and cheese.Already placed my next order. However, there’s no menu which is a little confusing. You just walk in and there’s a counter and you just asked what they have and they make you a plate. The oxtail was straight deliciousness. Tender, flavorful. The plate served was a large portion.“

I called Manny's Bakery I didn't even know they were there, I always thought is was a convenience store, spoke to Manny himself, he said email me the picture let's see what we can do. After reviewing the picture he was like we can't make the cupcake look square it's usually round, so I asked what if you can make it a square cake and then cut it into 30 individual pieces and then decorate them and he said YES we can do that, mind you I had mentioned the same thing to all the other bakeries I had spoken to. I brought by the original Minecraft toy so they could get the colors correctly and everything turned out GREAT they made my son totally happy and the talk of his school. I ABSOLUTELY recommend them they went above and beyond to make this a special birthday“

“I’ve found it. The best way to blow through a paycheck over a single breakfast. Espresso and a pastry for $15…. But, somehow, I think I’ll be coming back. Love the communal atmosphere with great big heavy wooden tables and chairs. A number of 4 and 6 tops as well. Bright and airy open feel make this a lovely warm atmosphere to share a delicious espresso and pastry. Espresso was quite tasty but unfortunately served in a tiny paper cup - I guess I should have specified I was eating in. Nice nuttiness and a subtle bitterness and right up my alley. There were so many amazing looking pastries on display i really struggled to decide how to put back on all of the calories I just lost on my Peloton but eventually landed on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Croissant. And - holy smokes - it did not disappoint. The thing must weigh 8 ounces due to it being stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough and a plethora of incredibly delicious molten chocolate. Incredibly naughty and delicious. Great spot to stop in for a pastry but they also have a larger menu with salads and breakfast specialties in addition to their lovely baked goods. Unreal!!“
