“My husband George and I frequently go to our "neighborhood" SPOT in Tolland since it opened. It really feels like a home away from home where you can watch a game, collaborate with colleagues over dinner, have a birthday party or little league celebration. It is a place to go for all members of the family for any occasion. The main menu is thoughtful, and we look forward to the weekly specials which are delicious. Prime rib Thursdays is a favorite as well. They have specials on cocktails and mocktails with special touches like cranberries in the ice, or the chocolate drizzle in the Andes martini with whipped creme and Andes mint crumbles. We have not found anything that was not delicious and in appetizing and filling portions. They have adult homemade ice cream to crave! It has a slightly different ambiance in each corner, the sofa lounge area, the seated family dining area, the sports zone covered in big screen tv's and the bar area where you are treated like family and they remember what you like as soon as you sit down. I love their themed special events that pair delicious and unique appetizers, with bourbon, wine, whiskey while sommeliers and chefs discuss the flavor combinations introducing us to tastes that tantalize your whole palate while sharing the history or culture of what you are enjoying. In addition, they have trivia nights, karaoke, an annual car show in the fall, and other seasonal events. In moderate to mild weather, the outdoor covered area is great for listening to local bands and bringing people together. in a comfortable setting. The costs are comparable to other good restaurants, and well worth the experience. If there is any problem with your order (which can happen everywhere), they quickly remedy it. We appreciate the warm welcome every time we come in from the owner and his staff.“

“We went to JRegos for the first time last night. We will definitely be back. The menu was fantastic , staff was attentive and the atmosphere was cozy. The food? Spectacular! Arancini( my husband makes a really good one so we were hesitant to try it but were pleasantly surprised) , bacon wrapped stuffed chix breast and jambalaya. Finished up with a slice of cake. 5 stars! “I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“The last few weeksI have ordered fish and chips and 4 large pieces and nicely cooked french fries. 6/17/2026 I ordered the same got 3 pieces the fishwas so dry and cooked too long you couldn't eat around the edges too hard, th french fries were over cooked to some were burnt. this was a take out. this has happened a couple times. then no salad or bread in the order. so we didn't get the whole order. I love there food but and people so we are going to try one more time.“

“I'm very disappointed. Yesterday, we chose Bond 124 to gather with family after a family members funeral. It was not our first choice, but the other restaurant was closed for vacation. We had remembered attending a grad party at Bond in May that was fabulous, so we thought we would give it a try for lunch. It was about 12:30 p.m. on a Friday. There was one other table occupied and maybe one or two people at the bar. Our waitress was great at first, came right over, brought waters and provided menus. We ordered drinks, which she quickly got confused with, but we thought nothing of it. We placed our order and began our wait. About 20 minutes later, Sam came to the table and asked if we wanted our food orders brought all at once or as they were made because the cheese buger and chicken sandwich ordered was already cooked. We said sure, bring them out as they are made, assuming they would just be a few minutes apart. Nope! First of all, she brought out the cheesebuger and not the chicken sandwich. At least 15 minutes later, the deep dish pizzas ordered came out. At this time, she informed me my soup (which I ordered as my meal) was not available. I asked Sam what soups she did have, and she responded, "I don't know" (Not let me check). When I pushed to know, she huffed off and went to look. Now we had to ask for the chicken sandwich that still hadn't been brought out, at which time she said it was coming soon. We are now at least 30 minutes since the first meal hit the table, and I still didn't have my bowl of soup. Finally, the chicken sandwich came out, and still no soup. When my soup finally came out, everyone else at our table had already finished eating. Due to the sad event that brought us together in the first place, I didn't bother complaining, but to say we will not be back or recommend this restaurant is an understatement. With so few guests, how does this happen. Where was the manager??“

So I decided to look at the menu and order one of their grilled signature sandwiches which was excellent. Since that day, I continue go to Go there. I find that they're food is excellent. I have never had a problem Ordering anything on their menu? It's always been delicious. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. I find that whenever I decided not to cook at home I always wind up at Vernon grill. I have found this establishment to be one that I enjoy a great deal. I continue to tell my friends and family to give it a try and they have enjoyed it very much. I have yet to have any negative experiences. “my goodness! still savoring my gorgonzola steak salad from last night... was a special on the menu...served with balsamic dressing...I opted for Bleu cheese dressing instead...I get this everywhere, when possible and WITHOUT A DOUBT THE ABSOLUTE BEST steak gorgonzola salad I have ever had! Steak was cooked to absolute perfect and extremely tasty...as was the house made Bleu cheese. probably the best steak I've ever had. 5 stars hand down! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
