“It is in and old Friendly's restaurant building walls are map of Connecticut. Indoor and outdoor dining. Large selection of food. Relaxed atmosphere never rushed to eat and go . Friendly staff and food is brought out nice and hot French fries are nice and crispy and portions and are a good size enough to bring leftovers home .“

“There is no other restaurant in northern CT that makes me more excited to visit than Germains. Every single item on the menu is incredible, all of the weekly specials are sensational and the entire staff is friendly, helpful and take pride in the service they provide. Germains is the template of how the modern breakfast, brunch, family owned restaurant should be run. Prices are fair, the website is always updated and the team is not afraid to delve into unique and exciting creations for the foodies of the world. Let me put it like this… when Jesus held the last supper I would not have been surprised if he was serving Germains catering. If I was a convict on death row I would very very much consider a Germains special to be my last meal. If I were to describe a perfect day it would be a Germains breakfast sandwich, a round of golf, a Germains lunch wrap followed by an afternoon on the lake. This place is incredible! 11/10 recommend and thank you for all you do! My only ask is maybe consider opening on Sundays 😉“

“Honestly so good. Tried to come on Christmas from the social media posts but yall were sold out of food! The best problem to have. I have been itching to come since, I am so far from disappointed. The staff was so friendly, spoke with one of the owners- he was so friendly and easy to chat with truly wish we could have talked longer! He explained his wife does the majority of the cooking and you can taste how homemade it all really is with each bite. The desserts were also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back- so upset it took me so long to try this place. Will be recommending it to anyone who likes Thai food or even wants to try Thai food.“

I loved that they called me the day before to confirm pick up and everything was ready to go when I arrived. They helped me carry platters into the car. The food is exceptional and the owners are really thoughtful. I've ordered single meals and it's just as good, but do try also for your next gathering. You, and your guests, will be glad you did!“

“This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I've been to Brewery Legitimus many times throughout the years, and it never disappointed me.

The brewery is spacious enough: the indoor space is separated into two rooms, which makes it easy to have a private event. There is a patio opened during warmer months, as well as several tables near the main entrance (a smaller patio). The place does not serve any food, but the food trucks are usually onsite. Also, the taproom, received an upgrade recently and now you can order cocktails from their bar.

The selection of beers is fine, although it is IPA-heavy. But you can also find several other styles on tap - Marzen, Kolsch, Ales, etc. The place not only serves beer flights of 4, but also sells 6oz drafts, so you can try more beers. I've had almost all the beers they sell during past visits (and refreshed them with new releases during the latest visit). The beers are not frequently rotated, so I only saw 6 new beers compared to my visit several months ago. The beers are always solid. It is safe to order any style and be sure that you will have the best quality. I'm not into IPAs, so from their selection I will definitely recommend their Barrel Aged bottles - Lord Dobson's (Imperial Stout) and Maple Girl (Belgian Tripel). Both of those have an immensely reach barrel taste.

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! I just think that it would be best if the tables were a little higher and if they turn the TV on or play some music to break the silence because it doesn't feel like you can have private talk when it's dead silence. “I have wanted to try Tavern on the Trax for a while now. I chose a beautiful Tuesday night to get dinner and drinks here. There is plenty of parking in the train station parking lot. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday night which is a good sign. I chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I ordered the clam chowder, steak tips dinner and some tasty cocktails. Everything was amazing. The steak tips were so good and the vegetables were full of flavor along with the delicious mashed potatoes. The drinks that I got hit the spot. The most impressive thing to me was the amazing service. My waitress/bartender was always coming outside to check on myself and the other parties outside now matter how busy all the while training another waitresses. They were both amazing. It was the perfect mix of great food, great drinks,and amazing service all at a great price. I'm so glad I finally got here. I will definitely be back again. My only regret is not coming here sooner. “I'm new in the Bristol area. One day I decided to come eat at friendlys and ever since I've been coming here. They are friendly here, the food is always fresh, neatly served and delicious. I love it and so does my 9 year old daughter. I'd recommend friedlys to others any day , and I do actually. My niece comes here too now with me all the time

Vegetarian options: I see they have broccoli and beef bites I haven't tried the new item yet but I'm sooo looking forward to it ! Yummy

It’s a great place to introduce kids to new foods with their bento box options. Highly recommend the food, but the seating is a little uncomfortable, so takeout is the way to go.“
