“There is no doubt that Gouveia is photographer’s dream, and as full-time wedding photographers, we have captured engagements and even surprise proposals here on the beautiful property. Whenever a client asks about a nice view in the hills, a vineyard or winery, something that feels almost like Europe, we tell them we should go here! We love how much the owners and staff allow us to use the property with ease. The scenic vineyard looks like a perfect set was constructed for us, and the long leading lines of the rows and driveway all help our captures. We love going by the pond with couples, too, making it feel even more like we have transported to somewhere that isn’t Connecticut. It’s never a problem having other visitors there, or being able to hide and then catch the moment the proposal is happening. You can blend in and then pop out with any family or friends to the jubilant couple, moving right into the engagement session on the perfect property for it. Sunsets are always because of the clouds, and if you hit the right evening, it can be unforgettable here. The couples all grab some glasses at some point as well and love the offerings Gouveia has in all regards. “it was my second time there I went there with a friend previously and I ordered what she got so this time I basically had no clue what to get so the waitress was very polite and very helpful recommended a lot of different food not only did the food come out quick very hot it was amazingly delicious as well I would highly recommend this to anybody especially sushi lovers they also have a hibachi as well I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and two sushi rolls to go definitely will be back thank you for the great service 🙏🏽💪🏽💯”

“1st visit. Ordered take out & grabbed a coffee during the brief wait. Service was efficient & friendly. Establishment was clean & welcoming. I deeply appreciate that they offer tofu. We ordered the “Vito” swapping chicken out for tofu & the “Cypress Garden” sandwiches… both were delicious. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of the ingredients. One was $10 the other $12 & this price even included choice of side: pasta salad, apple or chips. We chose the lemon basil pasta salad & it was just as delicious as the sandwich’s. Thank you…you’ve won this customer over for sure!”

“This has become my new go to pizza parlor in town! The service has been excellent and you really cannot beat the prices. Greek style pizza which is made quickly and tastes great. The pie we like to get is spinach, bacon, and feta. I have also gotten a sausage calzone and a BBQ chicken grinder and all 3 of these items have been fantastic. I will definitely be back for more!

“I come from Spain and it is my first time eating a steamed burger, a delight, something new that is worth trying. In my case I had the steamed salmon and my partner had the classic beef steam hamburger.
The place is nice, the decoration is very American haha ​​with all the cutouts and paintings from past times it transports you to America in the 1900s. They play good music all the time, classics from the 90s and 80s.
The service of 10, an older couple who make the homemade food themselves, it is appreciated to have a place like this to rest from so much junk fast food.

We got the Scoopys Truck for our daughter’s birthday party as she loves their ice cream. It was a huge hit with everyone there and as always the service was great!! “Elizabeth's Bakery now has some GF items. Today I tried their GF blueberry muffin & brownie. The muffin is amazing! It didn't taste GF at all. Lots of blueberries, not overly sweet like some GF baked goods; great texture -not gummy at all; and a wonderfully big muffin like it's gluten containing counterpart. The brownie is soooo fudge! It is not gummy at all. Tastes just like a gluten containing brownie (well at least what I remember them tasting like). These are so much better than any GF brownie mix & better than any recipe I have made at home. It's been years since I have been able to purchase a great tasting GF item at a bakery. That being said - portions were great here. The beans were so tasty and I loved the portions. Really a big fan of the tasty with a touch of heat chorizo. And the empanada was super crunchy and filling. The arepa was a bit dry and the plantain didn't have much flavor - hence the 4 stars for food, but this place was great and my order was exactly what I was expecting. Will definitely try again!”

He had the audacity to tell me I had to apologize to him and his counter girl before he would replace. He told me he didn’t care if he lost a customer, I had no idea who he was. He hung up on me and when I called back and asked for the owner to explain he started yelling and had his employees in the background yelling he was the boss and I had no idea who I was talkin to and I should find out before talking to him and hung up on me again! I called the Milford location and asked who the owner was, his name is OZ and he sounded like this was certainly not the 1st time he had a complaint. He apologized over and over but honestly I cannot believe the things he said! SMH worst customer service EVER GHETTO!!!!!”

Highly recommend the Mango Delight, it was so amazing! Crab Rangoon was excellent, my Smoked Salmon Roll was wonderful, and the Pho. Let me talk about the Pho. The Beef Pho was so amazing! It was so comforting and wonderful. It felt like home to me. Such a wonderful soup. It does come with big portions so you may have to take it home. Great service and once again my compliments to the chefs and everyone there. If I’m ever in Wallingford again, I’ll be in again! ❤️❤️❤️”
