All portions were generous AND Delicious. tried to go again...but on days it wasn't open or too late. maybe this week! Nice,nice addition to our neighborhood.“

My family and I get our sweet treats from here at least once a week. “Rita’s is truly like no other place I’ve ever been to. We drive 45 minutes just to come here for their ice, custard and happiness. Rita’s frozen custard is just amazing. It’s sweet, creamier and thicker than a regular soft serve ice cream. Their Italian ice is some of the best I’ve ever had. You really can’t go wrong with any of the flavors they have. They are all so good! I highly recommend the gelati, and have a couple different flavors of ice with it. My personal favorites are watermelon, chocolate covered strawberry,, strawberry lemonade and sour patch red. The sprinkles they have are really good too. Worth the trip, even if it’s an hour away. There are so many great restaurants in the area.“

“I bought three flavors of ice cream to celebrate a birthday today: butter pecan, Andes chocolate mint, and the blackberry goat cheese.

All three flavors were exceptional. The butter pecan was excellent, really smooth and salty; but the blackberry goat cheese was on another level entirely.

The ice cream parlor itself was very clean and organized. Overall a pleasant customer experience with an excellent product.

“Delicious ice cream, so many good flavors to choose from! Raspberry cheesecake with gummy bears is my go to (the best gummy bears!!). The cutest animals to visit, and plenty of seating. We sat by the fire pits, then played corn hole after we finished our ice cream. Love it here!“

It was my first time trying the creamery’s ice cream and it did not disappoint. The chips and M&M’s were in abundance, with every bite! “Ice cream isn’t TOO cold while being probably the softest Ice cream ive ever had. Despite being soft, didn’t melt overly quick and the softness made it easy and quick to eat as well. Their flavor graham central station tasted like honey grahams which are way better than standard graham crackers. Workers were also super nice and accommodating. Only thing I’d change is if they had a vanilla brownie flavor I would’ve gotten that instead, but I’m not complaining because their chocolate brownie ice cream still tasted incredible. Would’ve took a picture but finished in less than 5 mins. 7 stars“

“Icy Rolls serves stir fried ice cream or rolled ice cream and bubble tea. This type of ice cream originated from Thailand. They use a mixture of cream, milk, sugar, and other ingredients; this mixture gets poured over a very cold ice pan. They constantly mix/stir it, then flatten it, and roll it up. After, toppings can be added onto it.

I had the French toast which was very tasty; it was sweet and extra cold and reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch. I had one topping, the marshmallows, which I don't recommend since it was stale. I also had the taro boba tea sans the boba pearls; they didn't have any but I still had the taro tea and it was good. My toddler had the birthday cake flavored rolled ice cream and he loved it, especially with the m&m and gummy bear toppings. The location was convenient; it was in a plaza with plenty of parking. The employee was friendly. Overall, a good spot to get this type of specialty ice cream, without going to Thailand.“

“WE only discovered this branch of the Frisbee group late in 2021, but we are devoted fans now. First off, the ice cream was voted some of the best in CT ( via the Newington store) by Channel 3-TV subscribers. Next, it is the only source for No-Sugar Added ice cream in the Bloomfield area. And the site is lovely, despite the farm now being inactive. There is corn-hole for the kids to play on the spacious lawn, and plenty of parking. Finally, they keep the farm-store open more months of the year than most places, roughly April to November. We can count on a great dessert more than half of the year at Frisbee's .“

“We came here on a warm spring day after lunch nearby. The store was very cute and clean. It was a little confusing at first on where to enter to order; there were two aisles leading to the counter. There were a few tables inside and outside. The service provided by the employee was friendly and quick.

I had the churro ice cream on a waffle cone; omg, that was so good and tasted like cinnamon toast crunch cereal in milk (as the employee had described). My toddler had the marshmallow sky ice cream, which had marshmallow and chocolate chip cookie dough; he loved it of course. The prices were steep but it was worth it. We ate our ice creams outside on their patio. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back on another cheat day!“

“I love how organized they are weather is in person or online orders they make tour order exactly how they look and yes sometimes it be busy and you have to wait a little but they are so kind and make sure that you are satisfied with your order before you walk out the door.“

“probably not no. just entering the establishment their was paper towels all over the place and every surface was sticky, got up to the counter it was well over a half hour in line grabbing our purchase for one bowl I chose the fruity pebbles roll. the quality was very good of the ice cream. behind the line it looked clean but personally I think these young folks that work their need to try and fit some lobby maintenance here and their. I know it's rough sometimes. but those kids definitely were working their butts off every associate their was friendly too. but the entry was unesthetically pleasing.“

“My current top hidden gem for amazing and authentic Mexican food. Hidden in La plaza del Mercado, this spot has the most amazing tripe soup, where the tripe was properly cleaned, no funky taste/smell, cooked perfectly tender. Great caldo de res as well, the meat was tender and had a strong beef flavor, soup was light and refreshing and the veggies provided a nice natural sweetness and the squash was incredible inside. Their tacos are great as well and their pricing is a bargain and their portions are quite good.“

However, I wish they had more options. Also, every time we have gone has been on a weekend or weeknight. And there has only ever been one employee working. And some of the items like bubble cones take awhile to make. So it's very easy for a line to form.
I recently got the blue cookie butter ice cream (I think thats what it was) and it was SO GOOD. Honestly better than I expected haha.“
