“It has been a good 6-7 years since the last time ordered from Popeye's, and it was my first time at the Wethersfield location. I had forgotten how good their food is! I think these are my favorite fast food fries and possibly my favorite fast food chicken, as well. Tonight, I got the Big Tenders Box... 3 BIG tenders, 2 sides, and a biscuit for only $6.99.
Service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious.
Sorry for the lack of pictures. I went through Drive-Thru and ate half of it before I got home. :)“

“I hate that they slowly repeat your mobile order, even after you say no changes because you are running late for work. I'm probably the only one, but the whole point of using the mobile ordering is that I ensure my order is accurate and speeds up the process. I don't like to talk to people because of my disability, so mobile ordering has been a life saver so if someone says no changes, don't slowly read their order and ask if they would like to make any changes. Acknowledge I have already said as much as if I mattered.“

“March 24, 2026. Customer service was horrible; the two ladies working up front were disrespectful, all because I asked if the order I placed went through, given how long the food was taking. “I think this must be a training issue because it’s new this year and happens every single time - I never get my drink. I order on the app and sit at a table. I get my food, and then they walk away. Once in awhile they bring me my drink, but usually not before I’m done with my food. This is at the least the fifth time this has happened here, maybe closer to the tenth.“

“Love love staff is great food is bussin like my kids say lol which is great my go to spot when looking for good wings.
Parking: There's parking but just a few in front of restaurant but there is some right on street which is just a couple of more steps from restaurants that's it.. u will find parking
Kid-friendliness: Food kids love chicken wings some good old sauce no problem getting my kids to eat here there favorite chicken place“

“Honestly one of the best tasting chicken spots around. Was working across the street installing a natural service and decided to try it for lunch. The prices are good and the amount of food they give you is impressive. Everyone on the work crew loved it. Hell, it even the leftovers taste good cold the next morning lol 👍“
