“From the jump, had a good feeling. The waitress wasted no time, we were served coffee and water fast. I got my usual, biscuit, sausage gravy, lightly scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and wheat toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and high quality and perfect quantity - i was hungry. Deb got a bacon, fried egg, cheese, on hard roll, corn muffin grilled and buttered perfectly. She raved, very pleased. The owner spoke with us about his Yankees/ red Sox display, there's a story. Please go here when you get a chance.“

“I came from New York to check out the new Pet Rainbow bridge which was beautiful !!! I came to Sawyers Restaurant & Bar and sat at the bar with my sister and friend. Our bartender was Katie! She was attentive, sweet and a phenomenal bartender. We need more bartenders like her! Always smiling!!! I 100% recommend! Thank you !“

“Had a great and friendly waiter, his name was Will. I had to garlic teriyaki boneless wings and the hot buttered lobster roll. Plus the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was marvelous. I even tried their house beer made specially for them. It was a wonderful amber. I enjoyed myself tremendously. Thank you Will!“

“With having this place being the only Sports Bar in town it’s definitely an attraction to Torrington. The food is perfectly prepared and named after the town or Torrington, and the drinks have a unique twist to it. Pleasant staff members that welcome you with a friendly smile. Amazing music and an overall great atmosphere with live music and different events happening every week! I highly recommend Crossroads Sports Bar and Bites!!!!“

“I went to Sol for the first time Friday evening. The shrimp ceviche was like a party in my mouth! It came with wonderful fried plantains that were perfectly crisp. The flavor was amazing! We got the Guac and chips for the table and the chips were served hot and crisp and the Guac was great. I ordered the chicken stir-fry as my entrée and the spices were perfect. If you are ordering from the full service menu plan to stay awhile and visit with you friends, maybe have a nice cocktail while you wait as many of the items are made from scratch and take awhile to prepare. It is worth the wait. They also have items like empanadas etc... that are ready to serve if you are in more of a hurry. Atmosphere is quaint and the servers are friendly too!“

“YES!!! THE WAFFLES!!! Neat little diner...went on a slow day and I feel like I'm cheating on my beloved Waffle House, but good lord the waffles!!!! Sweet waitstaff, good parking...sausage links and tea all good...so many things to try

“We have come here a few times for both dine in and take out! The food is always steaming hot when we get it, the atmosphere is great, and the service is spectacular! The food is outstanding. Their drinks are so delicious! Everything comes out in a timely manner and it is just overall delightful here. We always visit when we are in the area, you should too!“
